Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong wedding organizer (WO) untuk mengadopsi inovasi digital guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi berbasis web responsif pada S.D Wedding Organizer di Tanah Jawa, yang sebelumnya masih menggunakan metode manual. Dengan metode Extreme Programming (XP), penelitian ini mencakup tahap perencanaan, desain, pengkodean, dan pengujian untuk menghasilkan sistem yang user-friendly dan sesuai kebutuhan. Sistem ini memungkinkan pelanggan untuk memesan paket pernikahan secara online, mengakses informasi layanan, serta mengurangi hambatan dalam komunikasi dan pemesanan. Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP dan MySQL, dilengkapi fitur seperti login pengguna, pemesanan, dan pengelolaan data. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini meningkatkan efisiensi operasional WO serta memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan dalam implementasi teknologi digital di sektor industri pernikahan.

Abstract

Komunitas keagamaan kerap disinyalir sebagai pemicu tindakan intolerasi di Indonesia, karena umumnya mereka menampakkan sikap primordial dalam masyarakat. Sikap yang memicu banyak konflik keberagamaan ini kemudian memunculkan konsep moderasi oleh Departemen Agama RI. Berbeda dengan Komunitas keagamaan pada umumnya yang terdiri dari orang-orang seagama, Srikandi Lintas Iman (Srili) merupakan komunitas yang sangat unik karena beranggotakan perempuan yang memiliki latar belakang beragam, baik dari segi agama maupun profesi, juga merupakan komunitas yang sustain hingga saat ini, terhitung sudah tujuh tahun menyuarakan perdamaian, baik dalam kegiatan-kegiatan dan dialog lintas agama, juga dalam ranah digital dan sosial media. Dengan menggunakan metode field research, tulisan ini mengkaji lebih lanjut tentang bentuk moderasi beragama yang terdapat dalam Komunitas Srili. Hasil dari kajian ini adalah terdapat empat bentuk moderasi beragama komunitas Srili yang tercermin dari program dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan, yaitu: (1) Moderasi dalam Kesetaraan; (2) Moderasi dalam Penanganan Konflik; (3) Moderasi dalam Pendidikan; dan (4) Moderasi dalam Sosial Media.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on the work spirit of Bima City Transportation Department employees. The approach used in the research is an associative approach. The population in the study was 188 people with a sample of 32 ASN people. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires and literature study. The data analysis techniques used were validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, T test and F test which were processed using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 20 program. that Organizational Culture and Work Discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on the Work Morale of Bima City Transportation Service Employees.

Abstract

The goal of this Community Partnership Program activity is to increase children's emotional intelligence as well as their English skills. This is accomplished through the use of storytelling activities, with the fairy tales being told in English. The transmission of fairy tales in English is at the request of partners, as there are no English subjects in the 2013 curriculum. In reality, in this age of globalization, English is critical. Parents, particularly at wealthy institutions, are adamant that their children receive English classes, even if it is merely through extracurricular activities or extended school hours. An increase in children's emotional intelligence and English language abilities in elementary school kids is the goal to be met. Wajo Regency elementary schools are PKM partners. as well as the professional development provided to instructors to help them enhance their digital literacy skills. The teacher is expected to increase the quality of his or her instruction in this scenario. Most teachers solely utilized blackboards and markers to teach before the training. Teachers should be able to generate engaging digital-based teaching media as a result of this course. The availability of storytelling activities employing digital fairy tales in English has been achieved as a goal. as well as training in the creation of digital-based learning media, which was attended by roughly 60 teachers from Wajo Regency elementary schools. The teachers were successful in creating learning films, which resulted in a rise in children's emotional intelligence and students' English skills at partner schools.

Abstract

Students can study in non-formal schools as well as formal schools, such as by participating in training to improve their grasp of a lesson. However, being able to attend the course is unquestionably costly. Some of the kids hailed from low-income homes, found it difficult to balance their studies with their busy lives at Islamic boarding schools, lacked enthusiasm for studying English and lacked English language manuals other than school textbooks, among other symptoms. Therefore, the goal of this service activity is to help students at the As'adiyah Sengkang Islamic boarding school improve and guide their English skills. This service activity is conducted using a fun training style that includes games, singing, and short chats. The result of this service is that students' English skills have improved as a result of this optimization and guidance, as evidenced by an increase in students' average English scores from 78 on the initial test to 87 on the final test. It can be concluded that using the training and direct guidance method to improve students' English at the men's boarding school, As'adiyah Sengkang is an effective way to improve students' English.

Abstract

This research addresses the critical need for affordable, portable ventilators, particularly for patients with respiratory distress, including those with COVID-19. These devices are essential for initial patient care during transport to hospitals. This project focuses on developing a volume-controlled ventilator that adheres to fundamental medical standards, enabling precise adjustments of tidal volume (VT), I/E ratio, and respiratory rate (RR). The ventilator utilizes an Arduino Mega 2560 controller to manage a solenoid valve, which regulates airflow for inspiration and expiration. Tidal volume, the volume of air delivered per breath, is adjustable between 50ml and 805ml, with selectable increments of 5ml to 20ml. The solenoid valve's activation controls the inspiration phase, allowing for adjustable inspiration times from 0.25 to 3.8 seconds. Conversely, deactivation facilitates expiration, with adjustable expiration times from 0.75 to 6.3 seconds. This precise control over respiratory parameters aims to provide effective and adaptable respiratory support, enhancing accessibility to crucial medical interventions.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang kebersihan lingkungan dan pengolahan sampah di Desa Tanjung Baru, Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui program Praktik Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) oleh mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Palembang. Program KKN ini melibatkan penyuluhan mengenai pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, pengolahan sampah, serta kesehatan masyarakat. Sebelum penyuluhan, banyak masyarakat yang kurang memahami pentingnya kebersihan, namun setelah dilakukan penyuluhan, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan gotong royong dan pengelolaan sampah. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi yang berkelanjutan, peran aktif masyarakat, serta dukungan dari pemerintah dan tokoh masyarakat adalah kunci dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat. Kesimpulannya, penyuluhan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya kebersihan dan pengolahan sampah yang tepat.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pelatihan Autodesk Inventor di SMK Negeri 3 Pinrang merupakan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan di Kab. Pinrang, Kecematan Mattiro Bulu, Kelurahan Padaidi. Tujuan Pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dalam bidang desain teknik berbasis Computer Aided Design (CAD) dimana peserta dapat mengoperasikan software Autodesk Inventor sebagai upaya menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Metode pelatihan ini, yaitu penjelasan materi presentasi dan diskusi dengan pendekatan partisipatif kepada peserta pelatihan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam membuat objek gambar 3 Dimensi sesuai ukuran objek benda yang diberikan. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa, diharapkan siswa dapat merancang alat secara mandiri sesuai dengan kreativitas siswa untuk mendorong kemampuan teknis dalam menjawab tantangan dunia kerja.

Abstract

Biodiesel is an environmentally friendly renewable fuel, but it has lower energy efficiency and can increase nitrogen oxide emissions. This study examines the effect of adding aluminum oxide nanoparticles (Al₂O₃) on the performance of diesel engines fueled with biodiesel. Five fuel combinations were tested: B30 and B30 with Al₂O₃ at concentrations of 30, 50, 70, and 90 ppm. The results show that the addition of Al₂O₃ increases the engine's torque and brake power, with the highest increases of 4.14% and 6.22% respectively in the B30+Al₂O₃ 70 ppm mixture under high load conditions. This effect is associated with better atomization, optimal air-fuel mixing, and the catalytic properties of the nanoparticles. However, at a concentration of 90 ppm, there is a slight decrease in performance due to nanoparticle aggregation. The optimal concentration of 70 ppm shows potential for improving biodiesel efficiency. Further studies are needed to evaluate the long-term stability and its impact on engine lifespan.

Abstract

The challenge of energy efficiency in cooling systems has driven exploration into thermal energy storage technologies using Phase Change Materials (PCM). This study aims to evaluate the thermal performance of two types of PCM—liquid-phase propylene glycol (PG) and solid-phase paraffin wax (PW)—in passively maintaining the temperature inside a cooling box. The experimental setup involved a Styrofoam-based cooling chamber lined with aluminum, where both PCMs were placed in identical containers. Temperature data for the internal chamber, PCM, and ambient air were recorded over 90 minutes using thermocouples and a data logger. Key parameters analyzed included temperature distribution, absorbed heat quantity and rate, and thermal efficiency of each PCM. The results indicate that PCM PG exhibits superior thermal performance, demonstrated by a higher heat absorption capacity (783.38 J), more consistent heat transfer rate, and greater maximum thermal efficiency compared to PCM PW (715.10 J). Therefore, PCM PG is recommended as a more promising material for efficient and sustainable passive thermal energy storage systems.
