Abstract

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have emerged as a key tool for promoting lifelong learning and professional development in the digital age. As technology continues to evolve, individuals and professionals alike are seeking flexible, accessible educational opportunities to advance their skills and knowledge. MOOCs provide an affordable and scalable solution, allowing learners to engage with high-quality content from institutions worldwide. However, the effectiveness of MOOCs in supporting lifelong learning and professional growth remains underexplored. This study aims to evaluate the role of MOOCs in facilitating lifelong learning and enhancing professional development outcomes. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with 300 participants who have completed MOOCs across various disciplines. The study focuses on participants’ motivations, experiences, and the perceived impact of MOOCs on their personal and professional growth. Data were analyzed using statistical techniques to identify patterns and thematic analysis to gain deeper insights into learner experiences. The results indicate that MOOCs play a significant role in promoting self-directed learning, with 80% of respondents reporting that MOOCs contributed to their personal knowledge and skill development. Additionally, 60% of participants highlighted that completing MOOCs led to career advancements or improved job performance. However, barriers such as completion rates and lack of personalized feedback remain challenges for maximizing the impact of MOOCs. In conclusion, MOOCs offer substantial benefits for lifelong learning and professional development, particularly in terms of accessibility and flexibility. To fully harness their potential, improvements in course design and support mechanisms are necessary to increase completion rates and learner engagement.

Abstract

The global landscape of infectious diseases continues to evolve, posing new challenges for public health systems worldwide. With the rise of emerging and re-emerging diseases, it becomes imperative to leverage technological solutions in epidemiology to prevent future health crises. This study investigates the role of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, machine learning, and digital health tools in shaping effective disease prevention strategies. The objective is to evaluate the potential of these innovations in forecasting, monitoring, and managing public health threats. Using a systematic review methodology, data were collected from 100 peer-reviewed articles and reports on the application of technological tools in epidemiology. The findings reveal that technological advancements have significantly enhanced the accuracy of disease predictions, real-time monitoring, and rapid response capabilities. Furthermore, AI-driven surveillance systems and big data analytics have proven essential in identifying disease patterns and facilitating early interventions. The study concludes that the integration of technology into epidemiological practices is crucial for proactive global health management. Technological solutions, when effectively implemented, offer scalable and sustainable approaches to preventing future global disease threats.

Abstract

The rapid decline of regional languages poses a significant challenge to cultural preservation and linguistic diversity. As globalization and digitalization continue to spread, regional languages are at risk of being overshadowed by dominant languages. This research explores the potential of technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI) and gamification, to revitalize regional languages by enhancing language learning applications. The study aims to develop and evaluate an AI-driven, gamified language learning application designed to promote the acquisition and preservation of regional languages. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining the development of the language learning application with usability testing and user feedback. The application integrates AI to provide personalized learning experiences and uses gamification elements to increase engagement and motivation. The effectiveness of the application was tested through pilot studies with users from different age groups, focusing on language retention, engagement, and user satisfaction. The results show that the AI and gamification-based application significantly improved language retention and engagement among participants. Users reported higher motivation and enjoyment compared to traditional language learning methods, and the application was particularly effective in making learning more interactive and appealing for younger audiences. This study concludes that integrating AI and gamification into language learning applications can play a pivotal role in revitalizing regional languages, providing a scalable and engaging solution for preserving linguistic heritage.

Abstract

The rapid development of education in the 21st century demands innovative learning models that accommodate diverse educational needs. Traditional learning models often fail to address the varied learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds of students. This research aims to explore and develop innovative learning models that enhance inclusivity and effectiveness in diverse educational settings. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed, involving observations, interviews, and document analysis in several educational institutions. The findings indicate that the integration of technology-based learning, differentiated instruction, and student-centered approaches significantly improves learning outcomes and engagement. Furthermore, adaptive and flexible models cater to students with different cognitive and socio-cultural backgrounds, fostering a more inclusive learning environment. The study concludes that continuous innovation in learning models is essential for addressing the dynamic challenges of modern education. Implementing personalized and technology-integrated approaches enhances learning effectiveness, equity, and accessibility. Future research should focus on refining these models and evaluating their long-term impact on student achievement.

Abstract

In the digital era, political communication strategies have evolved to include social media, digital platforms, and online engagement, significantly affecting how political parties, particularly Islamic parties, reach and interact with voters. This study examines the political communication strategies employed by Islamic parties in the digital space, focusing on their use of social media, digital campaigns, and online engagement to connect with Muslim voters. The research aims to explore how Islamic political parties adapt their message and strategy to the changing landscape of digital media. A qualitative research design was used, combining interviews with political communication experts, survey data from voters, and content analysis of the digital campaigns of major Islamic political parties. The findings show that Islamic political parties leverage social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to spread their messages, enhance political participation, and increase voter engagement. However, challenges remain in ensuring authenticity and avoiding the risk of misrepresentation in the digital space. The study concludes that while Islamic parties are successfully adapting to the digital era, they must continue to innovate and ensure their messages resonate with younger, digitally-savvy voters. Further research is needed on the long-term effectiveness of digital strategies in Islamic political campaigns.

Abstract

This study presents a novel approach to the automated detection of road surface defects using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and advanced image processing. The research background highlights the critical need for efficient and safe road infrastructure maintenance. Traditional methods, which rely on manual visual inspections, are often time-consuming, expensive, and expose inspectors to traffic risks. The primary objective is to design and validate an automated system for identifying and classifying various road surface defects, such as potholes, cracks, and rutting. The system aims to leverage aerial imagery captured by UAVs and process it with a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The research seeks to demonstrate a solution that is faster, more accurate, and safer than manual inspection methods, paving the way for proactive road maintenance. The research methodology involves three key stages: data acquisition, model development, and validation. High-resolution images of various road defects are captured using a UAV. These images are then used to train a custom-designed CNN model. The model is trained to recognize and classify different types of defects with high precision. The results indicate that the combination of UAVs and CNNs is a robust and effective solution for road monitoring. The conclusion is that this automated system provides a scalable, safe, and highly accurate method for road surface defect detection.

Abstract

The background of this research focuses on the stability of quantum computing, which is a major challenge in the development of quantum technology. Superconducting qubits are known to be prone to errors due to environmental disturbances and noise, which hinders computational accuracy. Quantum error correction code (QECC) emerged as a solution to solve the problem by detecting and correcting errors that occur in qubits. This study aims to evaluate the application of QECC to superconducting qubits in improving the stability and accuracy of quantum computing. The method used was a quantitative experiment by comparing the qubit error rate before and after the implementation of QECC, with measurements on bit-flip, phase-flip, and decoherence errors. The results showed that the application of QECC successfully reduced the bit-flip and phase-flip error rates from 15.3% to 5.2% and 12.4% to 4.8%, respectively, while the decoherence decreased from 25.6% to 9.3%. These findings suggest that QECC can significantly improve the stability of quantum computing on superconducting qubits. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of QECC can be an important step in improving efficiency and accuracy in quantum computing systems, although there are still limitations related to scalability and resources required for deployment in larger systems

Abstract

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) remain a global health problem that requires early detection and rapid treatment. This study aims to design and fabricate microfluidic biochips for the early detection of several PMS-causing pathogens, such as Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Trichomonas vaginalis. This research method involves designing chips with microfluidic technology, fabrication using lithography techniques, and testing the sensitivity and specificity of blood, urine, and cervical fluid samples. The results show that the biochip developed has a sensitivity of up to 92% and a specificity of 95%, with a detection time of less than 10 minutes. The biochip is also capable of detecting a variety of pathogens in a single device, making it an efficient diagnostic tool. In conclusion, this microfluidic biochip has the potential to be a fast, cheap, and effective PMS detection tool for use in the field. Further research needs to be conducted to test the sustainability of chip performance under real-world conditions and for further development in the detection of various other pathogens.

Abstract

The success of creative startups is influenced by various factors, including the role of social networks and social support. As these ventures typically involve innovative ideas and high uncertainty, the social connections entrepreneurs establish can provide essential resources, knowledge, and emotional support. Understanding the impact of these social relationships on startup success is critical for entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers aiming to foster a conducive environment for growth in creative industries. This study aims to explore the influence of social networks and social support on the success of creative startups. It seeks to identify the types of social support that entrepreneurs rely on, the networks they engage with, and how these factors contribute to their business growth and sustainability. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Data was collected through surveys of 100 creative entrepreneurs in Indonesia, followed by in-depth interviews with 15 startup founders. The analysis involved statistical techniques to identify patterns in network usage and social support, alongside thematic coding for qualitative insights. The findings reveal that social support, particularly from professional networks and mentorship, is crucial for overcoming challenges in the early stages of startup development. Entrepreneurs with strong connections to industry peers, investors, and mentors reported higher levels of success in securing funding and achieving market growth. Emotional support from family and friends was also found to play a significant role in maintaining resilience and motivation. Social networks and support systems are essential drivers of success for creative startups. Entrepreneurs who actively cultivate these networks tend to navigate challenges more effectively and sustain long-term business growth.

Abstract

The rise of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) has revolutionized the digital art world, providing artists with new opportunities for monetization and ownership. By utilizing blockchain technology, NFTs offer an innovative solution to the challenges of digital art distribution, including issues of copyright infringement and lack of ownership. However, the broader implications for creativity and the art market remain underexplored. This research aims to explore the impact of NFTs on digital art monetization, examining how blockchain technology influences the financial success and creative autonomy of digital artists. The study seeks to understand both the opportunities and challenges presented by NFTs in the context of digital artwork. The study adopts a qualitative approach, combining literature review with case studies of successful NFT projects. Interviews with digital artists, collectors, and industry experts further complement the research, providing insights into the practical use of NFTs for artistic and financial gain. The research finds that NFTs significantly enhance the monetization potential of digital art, offering artists greater control over their work and allowing for direct transactions with buyers. Additionally, NFTs provide new models for art ownership, including royalties from secondary sales. However, challenges such as environmental concerns and market volatility are evident. NFTs represent a transformative opportunity for digital artists, fostering innovation in both creativity and monetization. While the future remains uncertain, blockchain technology is likely to continue reshaping the landscape of digital art.
