AbstractÂ This paper discusses video directory of West Sumatra in the form of video. This study aims to describe what nature tourism is in West Sumatra. Data was collected through an interview with one of the employees at the West Sumatra Province Tourism Office and direct observation to the natural tourist sites of West Sumatra. Analyzing data is done descriptively. Based on analyzing the data, the following conclusions are made: First, the initial steps in the process of making a directory in the form of a natural tourism video in West Sumatra through two stages, namely (1) needs analysis, (2) location survey, and (3) equipment. Second, the process of making videos through three stages, namely (1) preproduction, the initial stage before the implementation of video production. This stage is a very important stage because at this stage all the planning steps for video production are carried out. At this stage, searching and finding ideas, making synopsis, treatment (scenario), storyboard (a collection of sketches), shotting script (script), production planning, production preparation, (2) production is the stage of implementing all the processes that have been previously designed in preproduction stage, (3) postproduction, is the completion stage. This stage carries out the process of compiling and assembling each picture taken at the production stage. Third, the results and discussion of the video that has been made and edited through several stages that have been explained in the second step. Fourth, the product trial results, this product is put on social media, namely YouTube. From this social media, the public gives responses to videos that have been made and published.Â Keywords: natural tourism, directory, West SumatraÂ

The purpose of this research are:Â (1) to describe binding one of library material conservation activities Perpustakaan UPT Proklamator Bung Hatta Bukittinggi, (2) to describe the obstacles faced in the binding activities, (3) to describe how to overcome the obstacles. Data was analyzed deseriptively. Based on data analysis results, can be summarized as follows. First, the Central Library Bung Hatta Proklamator Bukittinggi do with glue and stitch binding books buttocks. Libraries do not press on the book and do not butt cuts with sawing book to enter the pores of glue on the book. Second, the constraints faced in doing bindery are: (1) not complete facilities and equipment to do the binding, so it is not perfect bound books, (2) lack of concern for the preservation and maintenance book, and (3) lack of experts in the bindery. Third, how to overcome obstacles faced in conservation activities through binding library materials are (1) reduce the air humidity, (2) avoid the presence of dust, dirt, oil or other organic matter on paper, (3) prohibit visitors and staff eat, drink or smoking in the library reading room, this could damage library materials collection, (4), should be treated library materials carefully when reading, open and close the book, and (5) try to have an indirect placement library materials due to sunlight. The purpose of this paper is to describe the process of making the prototype of the encyclopaedia of traditional ceremonies of Batak Toba. The data collected using descriptive research methods with data gathering technique through interviews to customary leaders according to the focus of the problems studied. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that the process of making the prototype of the encyclopedia of the ceremonies of Batak Toba as follows: (1) data gathering, that is technique to collect information about the ceremonies of Batak Toba, (2) design making in the form of chart in product to be made, and (3) the process of making the product in accordance with the work plan which contains the basic provisions of a topic that must be developed from the cover makingÂ is the hard skin on the outside of the book containing the title of the book, and accompanied by several supporting images; the forewords contains the author acknowledgement, to those who have helped, the basis and purpose of making prototype of encyclopaedia, the hope, and the place, the month, and the year the book was made; the preliminary about the ceremonies in the Batak Tobaâ€™s ethnic; the main contents of the book contains articles on the ceremonies Batak Toba which includes the purpose, procession, place and time of the ceremonies, as well as data sources; an index is the list of words or terms in an alphabetical publication in the backyard; and informen biographies.Keywords: Batak Toba, prototype of encyclopedia, traditional ceremony.

AbstractDisaster is an event or series of events that threatens and disrupts people's lives and livelihoods caused by natural factors and non-natural factors and human factors resulting in human casualties, environmental damage, property losses, and psychological impacts, a phenomenon of life humans who cannot be known exactly when it happened. In facing disaster preparedness in Indonesia, there is still a lack and lack of hate education so that there is a lack of public knowledge in post-disaster planning and their readiness to anticipate disasters. Therefore, repacking information is packing information back, or changing from one form of information, to a symbol that is interpreted as a message, recorded as a sign, or sent as a signal. Preparing knowledge about disaster preparedness or hate from an early age to people who are vulnerable to disasters and in preparing themselves for disasters.Keywords: information, repackaging, disaster

The purpose of this study was to determine the spatial optimization space Indonesian Circulation Collection Andalas University Library. Types of research conducted included in qualitative research. The data was collected by using direct observation, interviews, and literature. Based on the fact which isÂ found in the field note that the arrangement of the room of Indonesian Circulation CollectionÂ in Andalas University Library less attractive because of several factors that happened in room arrangement, namely: (1) lack of the ventilation that cannot released the air come into the room Circulation Collection, (2) the racks collections which is placed under the light electricityÂ that can damage the collection, and (3) the tables and chairs which is placed far away from the shelf collection, so it is rarely used by the user. The purpose of this study is to describe how the students of Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University determine the credibility of health information retrieved from the Internet. Data was collected through observation and interviews toward the Faculty of Medicine students. Data was analyzing descriptively. The findings of the research is a few criteria to determine the information credibility, such as (1) appearance, (2) the author, (3) the numbers of advertising and, (4) affiliate institutions. It is suggested additional criteria to determine the credibility of health information, those are (1) notify the E-health field, (2) compare the information on the internet to information in printed books. The purposes of this research are (1) to describe an active dynamic archive storage system at DPRD administration office of West Sumatra, (2) to describe the procedure of the information retrieval of the system. The data was collected descriptively by observation and interviewed to ward the archivists at the office. The findings of this research are as below. First, the archive storage system at DPRD secretary office in West Sumatra was unappropriate to the existing theories. In this office, the archive storage system only conducted based on the incoming and outgoing mails that caused the archieve being stacks, disorganized and difficult to retrieve. Second, the archieve retrieval system in the office was unappropriate because it was only done by using agenda which takes a long time to find the archive. The archivists have to manage the archieves one by one in the agenda based on the incoming and outgoing mails.Keywords: storage syste;retrieva;active dynamic archive

Based on the observation, the book lend and give-back process in the Documentation, Archive, and Library of Padang Panjang was not good enough. The librarians still did simple record by usng Microsoft Excel which record the member data per sheet. This process was found to take long time and was ineffective. It will different if the librarian use the new book lend and give-back information system. The objective of this information system design is to help Documentation, Archive, and Library of Padang Panjang in book lend and give-back process fastly and easily. This design use Visual Basic 6.0 program language. The result of the information system design with Visual Basic 6.0 program language was the process of book lend and give-back process could be done easily since the new system contain Microsoft Access database as an accurate, clear, and originality guaranteed data savings, moreover, the needed information can be seen anytime easily. Abstract Based on the research of the study. It can be concluded as follows. IPK lecturers perception of Wikipedia as a scientific digital information source. 1) Perception of Wikipedia knowledge and understanding. Most of IPK lecturers and students know the advantages and disadvantage of Wikipedia. 2) perception of Wikipedia usage and access indicators. Most of IPK lecturers and students often access and used Wikipedia, including in making scientific works. 3) IPK lecturers and students perceptions of assessment indicators in the use of Wikipedia as a scientific digital information source. Assessment indicators in Wikipedia accuracy. Many of IPK lecturers and students stated that Wikipedia is quite accurate as a digital scientific information source.Keywords: perception; digital information; Wikipedia.

Abstract This study to describe the interior design of Solok Public Library, as aÂ result in the optimal interior design. Data collection tool that is used to describe the qualitative data to the library is direct observation, interviews with staff Solok Public Library, and literature. The analysis of data in descriptive. Based on analyzing the data, it was concluded that the interior design of Solok Public Library is not optimal.
