Abstract

Social facts prove the problem of education when each individual prioritizes his selfish nature under the pretext of freedom of expression. In addition, many educators still use one method in dealing with various problems of their students. Even though students have different heredity. In fact, in practice, many educators consider classroom learning to be a stage to show off their intelligence in front of students so that students only act as spectators. Indirectly, educators have created a monotonous environment that does not support student self-development. The purpose of this research is to find out the nature of heredity, environment, and human freedom in self-development and their relationship in Islamic education. This research includes qualitative research using library research methods. The results of this study state that heredity, environment, and human freedom are integral parts that cannot be separated in individual development. Heredity or intrinsic potential is a factor that needs to be developed through the encouragement of good environmental facilities. Then, human freedom supports each individual to act and think creatively through education. Therefore, through this research, the authors offer the concept of a democratic school which is the result of the relationship between heredity, the environment, and the freedom of each individual.

Abstract

There must be no spelling, grammatical or expression errors in the language used. Indonesia is a plural country, but most people still do not realize and understand the concept of tolerance which results in harmony. The proof is that there are still conflicts between religions such as in East Java in December 2021, in Brikang Village, Menganti sub-district, Gersik, Central Java on April 10, 2022, even 50% of utterances on social media contain intolerant values. This arises because of the lack of understanding of the Muslim community, especially of the content of the Qur'an about the importance of tolerance. The purpose of this research is to examine how the content of tolerance verses in Al-Azhar and Al-Misbah commentaries, is then contextualized in the life of Indonesian society. This research method uses a qualitative method of thematic literature study. The results of this study indicate that Hamka and Quraisy Shihab in Qs. Al-An'am verse 108, QS. Al-Mumtahanah verse 8-9, QS. Saba's verse 25 states that insulting, reviling, and discriminating against non-Muslims is despicable behavior. Both of them allow associating with non-Muslims with the rules: not to criticize their beliefs, not to discuss the shortcomings of beliefs in front of them directly, associate with polite language, questions that are not offensive, associate if it provides inter-religious benefits, and does not bring madharat. However, it is still with the limitations that can be associated as long as they are not hostile and do not expel from the homeland.

Abstract

Groundwater utilization in Narmada Regency has increased significantly while its availability is decreasing. This requires management to maintain clean water supply. Research on variables that affect groundwater availability and interactions between them therefore needs to be carried out. Firstly, a Focused Group Discussion (FGD) was held to identify the variables considered important in groundwater management. Respondents then filled out a set of questionnaires expressing their perceptions about the importance of these variables. The variables were grouped into four dimensions namely Input, Output, Domestic Output and non-Domestic Output. Next, respondents' responses were analyzed using the MICMAC structural analysis tool to sort out variables regarding their influence and dependence as well as evaluating the interactions that occured between the variables.  The results showed that there are 7 key variables i.e. Central Government Regulations (PPP). Local Government Regulations (PPD), Rainfall (HUJ), Groundwater Basin (CAT), Forest (HUT), Climate (IK), Number of Population (JP) and 1 regulatory variable ie. Geological variable (GEO) in the groundwater availability system in Narmada District. Also, there exist structured and systematic interactions between dimensions in the system. The results of this study are useful as input in making appropriate regulations for sustainable groundwater in the study area.
