Abstract

Achievement is the most important part of athlete development. There are several factors that can influence the performance of football athletes, including training motivation. A study shows that the percentage importance of motivation is around 69% which has an influence on achievement (Oktafiranda & Ilham, 2022). Motivation itself is one of the key factors in an athlete's success in winning a match or becoming a champion. Motivation encourages athletes to provide psychological encouragement to achieve the best achievements and performance. The aim of the research is to find out how training motivation influences the performance of football athletes. This research method uses a literature review with PICO searches in several databases such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Pubmed. There were 5 journals that met the criteria and showed the results that motivation, both intrinsically originating from within and extrinsically due to stimulation from outside the individual, can influence achievement, so with a p-velue <0.05, it shows quite high achievement motivation in athletes who generates an athlete's efforts to master his task, achieve maximum success, and be able to overcome obstacles. It can be concluded that motivation greatly influences the increase in performance in football athletes.

Abstract

The influence of poor sleep quality will cause physical activity to be hampered. The National Institutes of Health recommends that to maintain a healthy condition, individuals should sleep 7-8 hours per day. Namn Hidayat (2013) explained that the need for sleep depends on the level of development and society, exercise for health and relaxation is useful for increasing body strength and bringing the body to optimal condition (Asmadi, 2008). Post-stroke patients also experience psychological disorders, this is due to the inability to carry out daily activities as usual to prevent emotional instability in patients and a decrease in quality of life after a stroke. Depression can also improve the functional, physical, psychological and social conditions of stroke patients who have begun to deteriorate, as well as the high recovery rate of stroke patients who do not experience depression. The aim of this study was to understand the relationship between quality of life, depression and stroke patients. The research used the Literature Review method, carried out using the PICO search in the Google Scholar database. There were 5 journals that met the criteria and showed results that there was a relationship between sleep quality and depression symptoms in stroke sufferers

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between gadget use and the potential for Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorders (GPPH) in preschool children. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends gadget use for preschoolers for no more than 1 hour per day. Gadget addiction can affect a child's brain development because excessive production of the hormone dopamine disrupts the maturity of the prefrontal cortex function, namely controlling emotions, self-control, responsibility, decision making and other moral values. Excessive use of gadgets can also cause problems such as ADHD. The intensity of gadget use was measured using a gadget usage habits questionnaire and GPPH using the Abbreviated Conners Rating Scale (ACRS). This study used a cross-sectional design with 27 respondents in PAUD Bougenville, Cawang with a percentage of 100%, and as many as 29.6% had normal results with a total of 8 children and as many as 70.4% had potential ADHD results with a total of 19 people. Based on the Kendall Tau test, the p-value was 0.005 < 0.05. The results of the correlation test between the gadget intensity variable and the potential for GPPH show that between the variables there is a correlation coefficient (R) of 1,000. This can mean that there is a perfect correlation between the two variables with a strong and significant level of relationship because of the sig value. less than 0.05. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between gadget use and the risk of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in preschool children

Abstract

Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury is one of the most common injuries, particularly among athletes, often requiring ACL reconstruction surgery to restore optimal knee function. Postoperative ACL rehabilitation necessitates a comprehensive physiotherapy approach to prevent complications such as pain, edema, reduced range of motion (ROM), and to improve muscle strength and joint stability. Various physiotherapy modalities have been widely used during rehabilitation, but further evaluation of their effectiveness is still required. This study aims to evaluate the physiotherapy management of patients following ACL reconstruction, focusing on therapeutic modalities used to reduce pain, improve ROM, strengthen muscles, and prevent complications, as well as to assess the outcomes of various physiotherapy interventions. This literature review gathers data from five articles published between 2020 and 2024, which discuss various physiotherapy interventions for patients post-ACL reconstruction. These articles include the use of ultrasound, electrotherapy (TENS), patellar mobilization, eccentric quadriceps exercise, and manual therapy. The data collected covers results such as pain reduction, ROM improvement, edema reduction, and muscle strength enhancement. The findings of this review indicate that ultrasound therapy and eccentric quadriceps exercises are effective in reducing pain and improving tendon flexibility, while patellar mobilization and electrotherapy (TENS) are shown to be effective in reducing edema and improving knee ROM. Additionally, muscle strength and dynamic balance also improved with structured strengthening exercises. The comprehensive application of these therapeutic modalities accelerates recovery in patients after ACL reconstruction surgery, although some patients may still require additional time to reach full athletic capacity
