Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Human Resources (HR) quality and discipline on employee performance, with work professionalism as a mediating variable. Additionally, the study considers external factors that may moderate the relationship between these variables, such as technology, leadership style, organizational culture, and work environment. The research uses a quantitative method with an explanatory approach, allowing the researcher to explain the relationships between the involved variables. Data was collected from 41 respondents, who are employees at the Kangayan Subdistrict in Sumenep Regency. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the relationships between the variables. The results of the analysis show that HR quality and discipline have a significant effect on employee performance, both directly and through work professionalism as a mediating variable. This emphasizes that improving HR quality, which includes employees' knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as discipline in performing tasks, will enhance overall employee performance. Furthermore, external factors such as technology and organizational culture were found to moderate the relationship between HR quality, discipline, and employee performance. Adequate technology and a supportive organizational culture can strengthen the effectiveness of employee performance by improving professionalism and work discipline. This study provides important implications for the development of HR in the public sector, particularly in terms of planning and implementing policies that can improve HR quality and employee discipline. By enhancing work professionalism and leveraging supporting external factors, government organizations can create a more productive and efficient work environment, ultimately contributing to achieving organizational goals and providing better public services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh servant leadership dan beban kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja serta dampaknya pada kinerja pegawai di Kecamatan Bojonegoro, dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sensus sampling sebanyak 62 pegawai, data dianalisis melalui Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kondisi servant leadership, beban kerja, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja berada pada kategori baik. Namun, servant leadership tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan maupun kinerja pegawai, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung. Sebaliknya, beban kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, namun berdampak negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja. Kepuasan kerja terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Selain itu, beban kerja juga berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap kinerja melalui kepuasan kerja pegawai.

Abstract

Rico Budi Pratama, 2025. The Effect of Work Discipline on the Performance of Pamekasan Police Personnel Mediated by Position Promotion, Postgraduate Program, Wijaya Putra University. This type of research is explanatory (Explanatory Research) research that analyzes the relationships between one variable and another or how a variable affects another variable through hypothesis submission, using a quantitative approach, the research sample was 88 respondents. In this study the data will be processed using SEM-PLS data analysis. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine and analyze the direct effect of work discipline on the performance of Polres personnel. 2) To determine and analyze the direct effect of work discipline on job promotion 3) To determine and analyze the direct effect of job promotion on personnel performance. 4) To determine and analyze the indirect effect of work discipline on personnel performance mediated by job promotion. The results showed that: 1) Work discipline has a direct and significant effect on personnel performance. 2) Work discipline has a direct and significant effect on job promotion. 3) Job promotion has a direct and significant effect on personnel performance. 4) Work discipline has an indirect and significant effect on personnel performance mediated by job promotion.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Inspektorat Kabupaten Bojonegoro melalui motivasi. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian Explanatory Research. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai Inspektorat Kabupaten Bojonegoro yang berjumlah 70 orang. Sampel ditentukan sebanyak 70 orang menggunakan total sampling. Pengujian terhadap hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis data Partial Last Square (PLS). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan Persepsi pegawai tentang Kepemimpinan Transformasional, pelatihan, motivasi kerja dan kinerja pegawai Inspektorat Kabupaten Bojonegoro termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi pegawai. Pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi pegawai. Kepemimpinan transformasional secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Pelatihan secara langsung tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui Motivasi pegawai. Pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui Motivasi pegawai.

Abstract

This study focuses on the influence of leadership style and work discipline on the performance of Pamekasan Police personnel, with work productivity functioning as a mediator that strengthens the relationship between these variables. Using a quantitative approach and involving 88 respondents, the analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The findings of the study indicate that although leadership style has an insignificant negative effect on personnel performance, work discipline directly and significantly affects performance. Furthermore, work productivity plays a strategic role as a link that optimizes the influence of leadership style and work discipline on overall performance. Leadership style and work discipline also have a significant effect on work productivity, which in turn improves personnel performance. With a very high average for each variable: leadership style (4.15), work discipline (4.23), work productivity (4.25), and personnel performance (4.19) this study provides a clear picture of the importance of managing leadership style and improving work discipline in increasing productivity. These results offer strategic insights for Pamekasan Police to maximize personnel performance through effective leadership management and improving work discipline.

Abstract

Generation Z is the most diverse generation and is distinctly different from previous generations. Generation Z prioritizes personal growth and development. However, this generation also has weaknesses, such as being indecisive due to a preference for speed or instant gratification, getting bored easily, and often acting impulsively without considering the surrounding situation or conditions.This study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture and work environment on the performance of Generation Z employees. The research method used is quantitative. The sampling technique applied is purposive sampling, with a population of 92 individuals, consisting of employees of PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret) in the Sumenep region. The results of the study show that organizational culture does not have a significant effect on the performance of Generation Z employees. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh langsung maupun tidak langsung lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru melalui motivasi kerja di SMAN 1 Jiwan Kabupaten Madiun. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat explanatory dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh guru yang ada di SMAN 1 Jiwan Kabupaten Madiun berjumlah sebanyak 35 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan analisis SEM PLS. kasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lingkungan kerja, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi kerja, dan pelatihan guru di SMAN 1 Jiwan masuk kategori tinggi, sehingga mendukung kinerja guru yang juga tergolong tinggi. Lingkungan kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja guru. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja guru. Pelatihan yang diberikan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja guru. Motivasi kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Lingkungan kerja tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Pelatihan yang diberikan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.
