At the implementation stage, teachers apply active learning techniques such as group discussions, debates, games and presentations to increase student participation and interest in learning. Meanwhile, the assessment stage is carried out by considering cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects and using Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) as the graduation standard. The active learning model has proven to be effective in creating an interactive, fun learning environment and encouraging students to be more proactive, creative and not quickly bored in the learning process. The school also pays special attention to extracurricular activities such as recitation and billing assignments to deepen students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education. Abstract

Education must strive to cultivate a broad and positive perspective. Moderation represents a balanced attitude, avoiding extreme biases. Islamic Education (PAI) learning can foster this moderation by instilling values of tolerance, anti-radicalism, and nationalism, essential for maintaining national unity. This study, conducted at SMPN 1 Prambanan Klaten, employs a qualitative approach with a case study methodology to address societal issues. The research observes the internalization of religious moderation through PAI to shape students' attitudes. The study aims to analyze the process of internalizing religious moderation in PAI at SMPN 1 Prambanan Klaten. Internalizing religious moderation is crucial for developing students who respect the diverse religions, ethnicities, and cultures in Indonesia. This process includes four core values: national commitment, tolerance, respect for local culture, and an anti-radicalism stance. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, PAI teachers, and students. The findings indicate successful internalization of religious moderation within PAI learning. Students exhibit tolerance, respect for diversity, and national commitment. Furthermore, this internalization has led to improved student discipline, appreciation for diversity, and rejection of radicalism and violence. It also enhances nationalism and awareness of preserving local culture. Consequently, PAI learning at SMPN 1 Prambanan Klaten has effectively created a harmonious environment and supported the development of inclusive student character.

Abstract

The rapid development of Islamic finance raises critical questions regarding whether financial products truly reflect the substantive objectives of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah beyond mere contractual compliance. In particular, the implementation of Ijarah Muntahiyah Bittamlik (IMBT) in Islamic home financing presents both opportunities and challenges in aligning operational mechanisms with ethical and socio-economic objectives. This study aims to analyze the internalization of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah values within the IMBT scheme and to evaluate its role in promoting financial inclusion, economic justice, and sustainable household welfare. This research employs a qualitative approach using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, synthesizing relevant scholarly works on IMBT, maqasid, and value-based Islamic finance. The analysis focuses on the operational structure of IMBT, its compliance with Sharia principles, and its broader socio-economic implications. The findings indicate that IMBT has the potential to function not only as a Sharia-compliant financing instrument but also as a value-based mechanism that promotes equitable wealth distribution and financial stability. However, the study also reveals that the implementation of maqasid values remains limited due to challenges in governance, regulatory harmonization, and practical application. These limitations suggest that many Islamic financial products still operate within a legalistic framework rather than fully embodying ethical objectives. This study implies that strengthening governance, enhancing transparency, and integrating value-based intermediation principles are essential to ensure that IMBT contributes effectively to achieving the higher objectives of Shariah and advancing a more just and sustainable financial system.
