Abstract

This study is entitled “The Effect of Rewards on the Self-Confidence of 5-6 Year Old Children at RA Perwanida 4 Palembang”. The problem addressed in this study is the low level of self-confidence among children. This study aims to determine whether rewards have an effect on the self-confidence of 5-6 year old children at RA Perwanida 4 Palembang. This study is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The sample in this study consisted of 15 children, comprising 7 boys and 8 girls. The data collection techniques used in this study were tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study were normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The hypothesis results were obtained after conducting the initial test (pre-test) and final test (post-test), then the researcher analyzed the research results. The results of data analysis in proving the hypothesis test obtained tcount = 93.8, while to determine ttable = 2.364 with a significance level of a = 0.05, the value of a/2 is 0.025, dk = n -1 = 15 – 1 = 14, so 0.02514 is obtained from ttabel 2.364. It can be concluded that tcount > ttabel, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is a significant effect of the reward method on the self-confidence of 5-6-year-old children at RA Perwanida 4 Palembang.

Abstract

Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) merupakan inovasi kemendikbud untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Namun, dalam praktiknya, tidak semua guru mampu memanfaatkan platform ini secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang dihadapi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam penggunaan PMM serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang berfokus pada guru PAI di SMP Negeri 01 OKU. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI menghadapi sejumlah kendala, baik teknis maupun non-teknis. Kendala teknis meliputi gangguan jaringan, sertifikat pelatihan yang tertunda, dan sistem PMM yang terkadang tidak responsif. Sedangkan kendala non-teknis mencakup kurangnya pelatihan mengenai fitur bukti karya saya, keterbatasan waktu, keterbatasan penguasaan teknologi, usia lanjut, serta minimnya referensi dalam memahami materi PMM. Meskipun demikian, guru tetap berupaya untuk saling berbagi informasi, mengikuti pelatihan mandiri secara bertahap, dan berdiskusi antar teman sejawat. Kesimpulannya, optimalisasi penggunaan PMM memerlukan dukungan menyeluruh dari pihak sekolah, baik peningkatan literasi digital, serta penyediaan pelatihan yang berkelanjutan dan menyentuh seluruh fitur PMM secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

The constructivist paradigm within Islamic Religious Education (PAI) highlights the students' active involvement in forming knowledge through their experiences, reflection, and social interactions. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, using a literature review approach to examine the integration of constructivism in PAI learning. Findings indicate that the constructivist approach leads PAI education towards a more participatory, contextual, and human-centered path. Students are transformed from passive recipients of information to active creators of meaning through critical and reflective thinking. Teachers take on roles as facilitators and mediators, aiding students in linking religious concepts to everyday reality. This paradigm also aligns with the evolution of new literacies, such as digital, data, and humanistic literacy, required in today’s world, enabling students to assess religious information critically and responsibly. Hence, constructivism in PAI serves as a conduit between traditional Islamic values and the demands of modern education, fostering individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, and socially adept.
