Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan penerapan video animasi berbantuan aplikasi CapCut dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung serta Mendeskripsikan peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa menggunakan video animasi berbantuan aplikasi CapCut pada mata pelajaran IPAS dikelas V SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah di SD Negeri 14/1 Sungai Baung, yang berlokasi di Sungai Baung, Kecamatan Muara Bulian, Kabupaten Batanghari, khususnya pada siswa kelas V. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas VA SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung yang berjumlah 22 orang, yang terdiri dari 11 perempuan dan 11 laki-laki. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dalam melakukan pengumpulan data, peneliti dibantu oleh guru kelas. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik catatan lapangan observasi, wawancara,serta dokumentasi. Teknik pengujian validitas menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini ditandai dengan meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dikelas VA SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung. Prosedur penelitian tindakan dilakukan secara bertahap dalam 2 siklus dengan 2 kegiatan pembelajaran per siklus. Prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas mengacu pada model yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Dalam model ini terdapat empat tahapan kegiatan pada satu putaran (siklus) yaitu, perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (acting), pengamatan (observasi) dan refleksi (reflecting). Berdasarkan perolehan analisis data dari pelaksanaan penelitian pada proses pembelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan video animasi berbantuan aplikasi CapCut dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. keaktifan belajar siswa dapat meningkat, dapat diamati melalui indikator keaktifan belajar siswa: meningikuti pembelajaran dengan bersemangat, berani menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh guru, siswa berdiskusi dengan kelompok, memiliki usaha untuk memcahkan masalah, dan berani mempresentasikan hasil diskusinya didepan kelas. Pada peningkatan dalam proses pembelajaran tersebut terjadi secara bertahap dan konsisten dari siklus I hingga siklus II, dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran video animasi berbantuan aplikasi CapCut yaitu media pembelajaran yang menggabungkan gambar bergerak dan suara untuk menyampaikam informasi dan pesan pembelajaran, dan meningkatkan daya tarik dan efektifitas dalam pembelajaran. Perolehan hasil pengamatan kekatifan belajar siswa terlihat pada siklus I pertemuan I terjadi peningkatan dimana 5 siswa sebesar 49,47% dengan kategori kurang aktif, , pada siklus I pertemuan II terjadi peningkatan dimana 7 siswa sebesar cukup aktif%, pada siklus II pertemuan I terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 10 siswa sebesar 67,95% cukup aktif, dan pada siklus II pertemuan II terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 15 siswa sebesar 71,59% siswa dengan kategori aktif yang dibuktikan dengan hampir siswa kelas V SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung memenuhi seluruh indikatoor keaktifan belajar.

Abstract

Amid global challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and the development of digital technology, the younger generation has a very strategic role in shaping a more inclusive, critical, and sustainable global perspective. This article aims to examine the contribution of the younger generation in building global awareness through education, utilization of digital media, and involvement in social activism. Using a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this study reveals that global education is able to instill cross-cultural values and social responsibility from an early age. On the other hand, digital literacy provides space for young people to become active actors in the dissemination of constructive global narratives. Their participation in various social movements also shows concern for humanitarian and environmental issues. However, challenges such as inequality in access to education, digital disinformation, and lack of participatory space are still obstacles. Therefore, synergy is needed between educational institutions, government, and society to create an ecosystem that supports the role of the younger generation as agents of global change.

Abstract

Calistung learning in low-grade primary schools plays an important role in improving students' language and communication skills. This article discusses the sequence of language learning starting from the lower primary grades, which includes reading, writing and counting. Reading is the initial stage of language learning, which includes the recognition of letter shapes, recognition of linguistic elements, and slow reading speed. Writing as a medium of student communication so that students can convey their ideas, ideas, and feelings to each other through a series of words. Counting as a very important ability for students after reading and writing, which needs to be developed in equipping students. Thus, the sequence of language learning starting from low grade elementary school has important significance in improving students' language abilities and communication skills.

Abstract

This research is a class action research (PTK) using the team games tournamen learning model aims to describe the process of increasing student learning motivation in class IV Pancasila education subjects at SDN 111/1 Muara Bulian. This research process begins with observation and documentation. Data was analysed quantitatively and qualitatively. This research was conducted in two cycles, with four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of the study, applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model to Pancasila education learning was able to increase student learning motivation. This is because students experience increased motivation by paying attention to each indicator of motivation in learning can be seen in each meeting cycle. The results of this study were cycle I meeting I was 49.72% in the ‘Low’ category, cycle I meeting II was 58.8% in the ‘Fair’ category with an increase of 8.4%. In cycle II, the first meeting was 70% with the ‘Good’ category with an increase of 12% and cycle II meeting II 74% increased by 4%. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the team games tournamen learning model can increase the learning motivation of fourth grade students of SDN 111/1 Muara Bulian. This is evidenced by the increase in each indicator of student motivation in each meeting cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the literacy understanding of reading narrative texts of elementary school students in understanding information and reflecting on information. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 132 Jambi City from July to August 2024. The research data were collected by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. After the data were collected, the data were analysed quantitatively. The results showed that the literacy comprehension of reading narrative texts of grade III students of SD Negeri 132 Jambi City through understanding information in this study, based on qualifications was quite good. This is because the percentage of students who obtained a score of 10 (very good) and a score of 8 (good) totalled 69.56%. The literacy comprehension of reading narrative text of third grade students of SD Negeri 132 Jambi City through reflecting information in this study, based on qualifications is good. This is because the percentage of students who obtained a score of 5 (very good) and a score of 3 (good enough) totalled 82.61%. Factors inhibiting the understanding of reading literacy of students of SD Negeri 132 Jambi City are from the students themselves (lack of interest in reading), from schools (libraries that are less comfortable), and from parents (lack of attention). From the results of this study to principals and teachers it is recommended that they always actively intensify activities aimed at increasing students' reading literacy. Teacher assistance is needed in reading corner activities to give maximum impact on students' interest in reading. Joint literacy activities should always be scheduled, and if the weather is rainy the location can be moved to the school library. School principals need to make the library neater and more comfortable and equipped with a wider range of non-academic reading books so that reading literacy-related activities can use the library. As well as being an alternative location for students to spend their break time.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project in developing students' intrapersonal intelligence in elementary schools. The development process of intrapersonal intelligence is an important and fundamental capability as a reinforcement of students' character education. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach at SD Negeri 167/I Bulian Baru during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research subjects were the principal, teachers, and students. Research data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews (as primary data), observation, and documentation study (as supporting data). The collected data was then analyzed and validated using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project at SD Negeri 167/I Bulian Baru was able to develop students' intrapersonal intelligence comprehensively through four stages: introduction, contextualization, real action, and reflection and follow-up, impacting the development of students' intrapersonal intelligence including the ability to understand oneself, manage emotions, self-reflect, make decisions, and adapt during the P5 program. The development process of students' intrapersonal intelligence was evident through various achievement indicators including increased self-awareness in environmental care, ability to manage emotions when working in groups, ability to reflect on behavioral impacts on the environment, responsible decision-making in waste management, and ability to adapt to changing habits towards sustainable lifestyles. From the research results, it can be concluded that the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) contributes to the formation of environmental care character and significantly supports the development of intrapersonal intelligence aspects that are important for students' holistic development.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning activeness of third-grade students at SDN 121/I Muara Singoan through the implementation of the cooperative learning model, Teams Games Tournament (TGT), supported by multiplication domino media. The issue addressed is the low level of student engagement in mathematics learning, as indicated by limited participation, minimal peer interaction, and a lack of interest in the subject matter. To overcome this problem, the study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 20 third-grade students. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. Indicators used to measure learning activeness included interest, attention, response to the teacher, involvement in discussions, and teamwork skills. The results showed a consistent increase in students' learning activeness over time. In the pre-action stage, student activeness was at 25%. After the implementation of the first cycle, it increased to 53.94%, and in the second cycle, it rose significantly to 73.89%. This improvement indicates that the TGT cooperative learning model, supported by multiplication domino media, is effective in creating a more enjoyable learning environment, encouraging active student participation, and strengthening social interaction in the classroom. Therefore, this model can serve as an innovative and practical learning strategy to enhance student engagement in mathematics learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Language is a vital element in human life, serving as the main tool for conveying ideas, feelings, and information. In the era of Industry 4.0 and the 21st century, language has undergone significant transformation due to advancements in digital technology and globalization. Its function has expanded beyond traditional spoken and written communication, becoming a critical instrument in technology, education, business, and cultural preservation. Mastery of adaptive language skills and digital literacy is essential to meet the challenges of complex communication in the modern world. This study employs a literature review method to analyze the role and function of language in contemporary contexts. The findings confirm that language is a key factor in building an inclusive, competitive digital society capable of adapting to technological and social changes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The origin and development of language in human communication is a fascinating and complex topic. This study aims to examine various theories regarding the origin of language, from imitation of natural sounds and animal calls, social convention theories, to theological perspectives. The method used is a literature review, analyzing credible written sources such as books, journals, and scientific articles. The findings indicate that language evolved from primitive nonverbal communication into a complex symbolic system, influenced by biological, social, and cultural factors. Language is not only a communication tool but also a reflection of cultural identity and historical legacy. This research provides insights into the social, cultural, and technological dynamics that drive language development in human interaction.
