Abstract

The utilization of technology can aid humans across various sectors, including agriculture. This study harnesses one such technology to identify a particular agricultural commodity, tuberose flowers (Polianthes tuberosa), based on their blooming using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The CNN method can assist farmers in harvesting tuberose flowers by distinguishing between bloomed and budding flowers. In this research, a dataset comprised of 600 primary data points captured via smartphones is utilized, divided into 420 training sets and 180 testing sets. Three scenarios are tested, involving training epochs of 10, 15, and 20. The testing results indicate that the first scenario achieves an accuracy score of approximately 82.44%, falling below the 85% threshold. Meanwhile, the second and third scenarios achieve accuracies of approximately 91.20% and 92%, respectively

Abstract

The selection of the path of interest is an important stage for Udayana University Informatics students. This decision determines the study and the topic of their final assignment. Challenges, such as varied choices, limited quotas, and student uncertainty often accompany the election process. It causes doubts and confusion in decision-making. The study builds a decision support system based on AHP to help students choose their path of interest. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) allows comprehensive analysis and recommendation of paths that match preferences and relevant criteria, where these criteria are determined through observations and interviews conducted with students in related environments. Using the student's grades and preference levels for the 15 basic courses they passed during the first three semesters of the course, this AHP-based decision support system is implemented to facilitate students' decision-making related to the path of interest they will choose.

Abstract

NodeMCU, an open-source development platform based on the ESP8266, has become a significant tool in network security testing. This article investigates the use of NodeMCU in attacks against Wi-Fi networks on the 2.4 GHz frequency. We conducted experiments to launch NodeMCU's capabilities to exploit security weaknesses in Wi-Fi networks, including attacks against WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryption. We also present preventive measures that can be implemented to protect Wi-Fi networks from attacks possible using NodeMCU.

Abstract

In the field of music, sheet music notation represents the graphical representation of the melody or harmony of a song. However, manually transcribing complex piano music can be challenging. In this research, we propose the application of Short-Time Fourier Transform (STFT) as a method for piano note recognition. STFT, a spectral analysis technique, is useful for analyzing frequency changes in time-varying signals such as music signals. The literature review reveals successful implementations of STFT in chord recognition and gamelan notation detection, with accuracies ranging from 60% to 90%. The research methodology includes a literature review, data collection of piano audio samples, feature extraction using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), and system design involving preprocessing, segmenting the signal, feature extraction using STFT, signal processing using filters or thresholding, and mapping frequencies to piano notes. This research aims to provide an effective method for piano note recognition using STFT, contributing to automated music transcription and facilitating the learning and playing of piano music.

Abstract

The detection and tracking of humans in videos have gained significant attention due to their applications in various fields such as surveillance, activity recognition, and human-computer interaction. This article presents the design and development of a prototype application for human detection and tracking in videos. The use of the prototype methodology allows for early feedback, demonstrates the functionality and features, facilitates effective collaboration, and helps save time and costs in the development process. By following this methodology, the prototype application for human detection and tracking in videos is expected to provide accurate and reliable results, meeting the needs of users in various domains.

Abstract

This article will focus on implementing an orchid plant monitoring system using Arduino in a webbased application. The purpose of this system is to monitor important environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity and soil moisture in real time. By collecting data from orchid plants using sensors, the system enables continuous measurement and analysis of these parameters.Collected data is processed and stored by the Arduino, which acts as the central control unit. A web-based application serves as the user interface, allowing remote access and visualization of monitoring data. Implementation of this system provides a practical solution for improving orchid cultivation through accurate and easily accessible monitoring of key parameters. This allows researchers and hobbyists to closely monitor growing conditions and make informed decisions based on the data collected. By maintaining optimal environmental conditions, the system contributes to improved growth, increased yields and successful cultivation of orchid plants. The combination of an Arduino and a web-based application provides an efficient and easy-to-use solution for orchid plant monitoring and management for better results in your orchid cultivation practice.
