Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the types of code switching made by the students of English Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Syiah Kuala University within research proposal seminar. It also tried to find out the students’ reasons made code switching from English to Bahasa Indonesia. A descriptively qualitative study was undertaken by observing the seminar conducted by the students and interviewing them in order to attain the needed data in this study. The results of the study showed that there were three types of code switching used by English Department students namely inter-sentential switching, intra-sentential switching, and tag/emblematic switching in which inter-sentential switching was the most frequent type of code switching made by the students while doing the researcher proposal seminar. Meanwhile, delivering of understandable messages was the main reason why most students did code switching in the seminar. In conclusion, the use of code switching is a commonly phenomenon carried out by the English students in this research context because of some distinct types and reasons.

Abstract

Ikatan Pelajar Al Washliyah di singkat IPA adalah organisasi bagian dari Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah. Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah, merupakan organisasi islam terbesar di Sumatera Utara. Secara umum Permasalahan Prioritas Mitra yang paling mendasar dihadapi oleh Pimpinan Cabang Ikatan Pelajar Al Washliyah Kecamatan Medan Amplas antara lain: (1) Kurangnya pemahaman tentang administrasi; (2) Kurangnya pemahaman dalam tata cara membuat Surat Menyurat. Menindak lanjuti permasalahan mitra yang dikemukakan diatas, maka metode pelaksanaan pengabdian yang dilakukan dalam langkah pertama yang dilakukan tim pengabdian adalah memberikan materi pemahaman administrasi dalam pengembangan organisasi sesuai dengan anggaran dasar/ anggaran rumah tangga serta peraturan organisasi Ikatan Pelajar Al Washliyah. Selanjutnya mitra di bimbing untuk memahami administrasi tersebut dalam pembuatan surat menyurat. Misalnya dengan tata tulis surat diantaranya; Kop surat dengan logo organisasi; yang menerangkan tanda sebagai penunjuk organisasi, alamat surat, tanggal surat, nomor surat, lampiran surat, hal surat, tujuan surat, pembukaan surat, isi surat, penutup surat, nama organisasi pembuat surat, nama pimpinan pembuat surat yang dibubuhi tanda tangan, stempel organisasi, tembusan, dan initial (bila diperlukan). Selanjutnya dipahamkan bagaimana pentingnya Adminitrasi dalam kemajuan dan pengembangan sebuah organisasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality on patient satisfaction using BPJS Kesehatan at the Rumah Sakit Umum Muhammadiyah Mandala By Pass Medan. The population in this study were patients using BPJS Kesehatan at the RSU Muhammadiyah Mandala By Pass Medan. which amounted to 706 people. The sample in this study amounted to 256 people taken randomly using random sampling technique. This type of research is quantitative research. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire and direct observation of spaciousness which was then analyzed using the multiple linear regression analysis method Y = 8.170 + 0.515 + e, which means that the quality of service affects patient satisfaction. Furthermore, testing with the t test showed 16,376 > 1.65, so it can be concluded that the service quality variable has a significant effect on patient satisfaction. R square shows the coefficient of determination is 0.514, meaning that service quality affects patient satisfaction by 51.4%, while the remaining 48.6 is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan partisipasi politik pada pemilih perempuan dalam pemilihan gubernur ditinjau dari usia dan tingkat pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif berjenis komparatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 180 pemilih perempuan di Kepulauan Riau. Berdasarkan hasil dengan perhitungan anova dua jalur diperoleh partisipasi politik berdasarkan usia dengan signifikansi 0,026 (p < 0,05), partisipasi politik berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan dengan signifikansi 0,23 (p>0,05) dan uji interaksi antara usia dengan pendidikan didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002 (p < 0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan partisipasi politik pada pemilih perempuan berdasarkan usia namun tidak terdapat perbedaan partisipasi politik pada pemilih perempuan berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan. Selain itu, terdapat interaksi kategori usia dengan pendidikan dalam keikutsertaan perempuan dalam partisipasi politik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inflasi dan Non Performing Financing (NPF) terhadap Profitabilitas (ROA) Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh dari publikasi Otoritas Jasa Keuangan dan Bank Indonesia periode tahun 2018-2022. Pengolahan dan pada penelitian ini menggunakan Microsoft Office Excel dan program komputer SPSS. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis, dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan secara parsial tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara inflasi terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia Periode 2018-2022, variabel Inflasi (X1) secara statistik menunjukkan nilai signifikan lebih besar dari 0,05 atau (0,417 > 0,05) dan thitung > ttabel (0,8185 < 2,00247). Secara parsial pengaruh yang signifikan antara Non Performing Financing (NPF) terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia Periode 2018-2022, variabel Non Performing Financing (NPF) (X2) secara statistik menunjukkan nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari 0,05 atau (0,000 < 0,05) dan thitung > ttabel (9,698 > 2,00247). Secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara inflasi dan Non Performing Financing (NPF) secara bersama-sama terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia Periode 2018-2022, nilai signifikasi lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) dan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (48,487 > 3,16), maka variabel bebas secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap variabel terikatnya.

Abstract

Kegiatan gotong royong di Desa Gunung Rintih bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Dengan melibatkan warga secara langsung, program ini tidak hanya fokus pada pembersihan fasilitas umum seperti masjid, musholla, dan jalan desa, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai sarana edukasi mengenai kebersihan. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini mencakup observasi, sosialisasi, dan pelaksanaan bersama-sama. Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan adanya peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dan kesadaran mereka terhadap pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat terus berlanjut

Abstract

Muhammad Rahmat. Analysis of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesian Language Learning for Grade IV at SD Negeri 003 Meral. Department/Study Program of Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Karimun, 2024. This study aims to describe: 1) to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum in Indonesian language learning for Grade IV at SD Negeri 003 Meral, 2) to analyze the obstacles and challenges in implementing the independent curriculum in Indonesian language learning for Grade IV at SD Negeri 003 Meral, 3) to analyze the efforts to overcome obstacles and challenges in implementing the independent curriculum in Indonesian language learning for Grade IV at SD Negeri 003 Meral.  This research is qualitative research. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 003 Meral in April 2024. The subjects of this research are the Principal, Grade IV Teachers, and Grade IV Students. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. Activities in qualitative data analysis used an interactive model, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.  The results of this study indicate that: 1) the implementation of the independent curriculum in Indonesian language learning has been well realized, the planning carried out includes analyzing learning objectives, preparing lesson plans, and creating learning activity programs. The implementation of learning has already applied differentiated learning tailored to students' needs and has designed evaluations in the form of diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, 2) there are obstacles and challenges such as lack of information, limited reference sources, and time constraints in the preparation of teaching modules and assessments, 3) efforts made to overcome obstacles and challenges include participating in seminars, webinars, and workshops, increasing reference sources, and utilizing the teaching module preparation guidelines provided by the government.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of human resource management through job transfers, increasing professional competence, and extrinsic motivation to improve employee performance, especially in the plantation sector. PTPN IV Regional II Kebun Limau Mungkur is a state-owned company that prioritizes AKHLAK values in its management practices. The main objective of this study is to analyze the effect of job transfers, professional competence, and extrinsic motivation on employee performance. The research approach used is quantitative associative with multiple linear regression analysis method. The population in this study were all employees of PTPN IV Regional II Kebun Limau Mungkur totaling 125 people, with a sample of 95 respondents determined by the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques were carried out through field studies, documentation, and questionnaire distribution. Data analysis was carried out by testing validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression using the SPSS program. The results of the study showed that partially, job transfers, professional competence, and extrinsic motivation each had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, simultaneously the three variables also had a significant effect on employee performance. This finding emphasizes the importance of implementing appropriate HR management policies to support company productivity and sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Service Attributes, Power, Attraction and Excellence on Consumer Satisfaction at CV Eko Auto Service Workshop in Harjosari II Village, Medan Amplas District. In this study, the data collection technique used the random sampling method, the sample used was 65 respondents. All analyses in this study were assisted by the SPSS 25.0 program. The data analysis technique was carried out through classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Based on the t-test that has been carried out, the results obtained were that the Sig. value of the Service Attribute variable was obtained at 0.001 <0.05 and the t count value (2.716)> t table (1.670). So it can be concluded that the Service Attribute variable has a positive and significant effect on the Consumer Satisfaction variable. Furthermore, the Sig. value of the Attractiveness variable obtained was 0.004 <0.05 and the t count value (3.154)> t table (1.670). So it can be concluded that the Attractiveness variable has a significant effect on the Consumer Satisfaction variable. Furthermore, the Sig. value of the Excellence variable obtained is 0.000 <0.05 which has a significant effect on the Consumer Satisfaction variable. From these data, the calculated t value is (10.882)> t table (1.670). So it can be stated that the Excellence variable has a positive and significant effect on the Consumer Satisfaction variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of Customer Service (CS) at KCP Bank Sumut Syariah and its impact on customer satisfaction levels. In this study, the author uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to collect data from respondents consisting of KCP Bank Sumut Syariah customers. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques to see the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction. The results of the study indicate that the quality of Customer Service at Bank Sumut Syariah plays a significant role in increasing customer satisfaction. The three main aspects that influence are speed of service, friendliness of CS, and accuracy in providing information. Although most customers expressed satisfaction with the services provided, there were still some complaints about the response time which was considered slow and the unclear information provided in some cases. Therefore, efforts to improve service quality such as routine training and utilization of information technology are needed to minimize the gap between expectations and reality felt by customers. The conclusion that can be drawn is that optimal Customer Service quality can increase customer satisfaction and build long-term loyalty. For that, Bank Sumut Syariah needs to continue to make improvements and innovations in service, both in terms of improving the quality of human resources through training and utilizing technology to speed up the service process. Strengthening an organizational culture that is oriented towards customer satisfaction is also very important to support continuous improvement in service quality.
