Abstract

Farmers' use of chemical fertilizers to increase agricultural production has become quite popular in today's technological era. However, considering the negative impact of chemical fertilizers, alternatives are needed so that farmers can reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and switch to organic fertilizers or biological fertilizers. Seeing this, we realized that Pengalangan Village had the potential to develop this, considering that the agricultural sector was their primary sector. Therefore, to realize this immediately, it is necessary to provide training for residents. The methods used in this training activity were the presentation of material, distribution of modules, question and answer sessions and discussions, practicing making organic fertilizer, and completing pre-tests and post-tests. After the training activity ends, an evaluation is carried out using data collected through pre-test and post-test. Based on the research results and discussion regarding pre-test and post-test data, it can be concluded that the presentation of the material significantly influences residents' level of knowledge regarding liquid organic fertilizer (POC).

Abstract

Ikan Mujair di Desa Kali Tengah Sidoarjo tercemar logam berat, sehingga habitat yang ada mengandung logam berat. Logam berat Zn pada ikan mujair yang hidup di Desa Kali Tengah sebesar 143,7 mg/kg, kadar logam berat tersebut melebihi ambang batas yaitu 0,05 mg/kg. Hasil yang di dapatkan tersebut maka harus menurunkan kadar logam berat pada Ikan Mujair sebelum dikonsumsi oleh manusia. Metode yang dilakukan untuk menurunkan dengan cara maserasi belimbing wuluh. Proses maserasi dengan lama perendaman 60 dan 70 menit dengan variasi prosentasi 0; 50 dan 100 persen. Hasil yang di dapatkan pada waktu perendaman 70 menit dengan prosentasi 100 persen maka konsentrasi logam berat ikan mujair mengalami penurunan sebesar 33,2 mg/kg. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa konsentrasi dan durasi perendaman berpengaruh pada penurunan kadar logam berat Zn berdasarkan  masing-masing nilai signifikan uji ANOVA dua arah yaitu (sig kurang dari 0,05).

Abstract

Penelitian inimengeksplorasi peran kimia forensik dalam identifikasi jenazah tanpa identitas melalui pendekatan tinjauan literatur. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengevaluasi berbagai metode analisis kimia, seperti spektroskopi inframerah dan kromatografi gas, dalam konteks mengidentifikasi komposisi tubuh yang terdekomposisi serta menentukan informasi penting seperti waktu kematian. Metode tinjauan literatur digunakan untuk menyusun dan menganalisis studi-studi yang relevan dalam bidang ini. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa teknik-teknik ini tidak hanya mendukung identifikasi mayat tanpa identitas dengan akurat, tetapi juga memberikan wawasan yang penting tentang proses kimia dalam dekomposisi tubuh manusia, yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan praktik forensik dalam mendukung proses identifikasi medis dan penyelidikan kriminal. Abstract

Water pollution occurs due to the inclusion of chemical substances, components in the form of gases, and solvents so that the quality of water becomes polluted and harmful to the life of organisms in the waters, especially in fish farming. Polluted waters can contain heavy metals. fish can be exposed to heavy metals due to polluted waters. Heavy metals with high or low levels can also cause various types of dead water biota. If the fish exposed to heavy metals consumed by humans will over-accumulate or accumulate in the body, thus endangering health. This study was conducted to determine the levels of heavy metals Lead (Pb) and Zinc (Zn) contained in the meat of fish bandeng in the market Kalanganyar Sidoarjo with Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). This research was conducted in Applied Chemistry Laboratory of Medical Laboratory of Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo and Chemistry Laboratory of FMIPA Universitas Islam Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in February-April 2021. In this study using descriptive cross sectional research type. Data analysis method using measurement and observation as well as descriptive statistical analysis. 20 samples were used. The results of heavy metal levels in this study obtained the highest levels of lead heavy metal (Pb) of 0.354 mg/kg. While the lowest level is 0.062 mg/kg. Zinc (Zn) heavy metal content is highest at 3,132 mg/kg. While the lowest level is 0.606 mg/kg.

Abstract

Sidoarjo City in East Java Province has a pond area of up to 7.68%. One of the cultivations developed in ponds is tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon), which are mostly sold in Sidoarjo. The presence of metals in aquatic bodies comes from natural sources that enter can be the erosion of mineral rocks found in the aquatic environment. Tiger shrimp is one type of shrimp that is preferred by most Indonesian people. If this shrimp is contaminated by heavy metals, it will harm the people who consume it. This research was conducted to find out the levels of heavy metals Timbal (Pb) and Seng (Zn) contained in tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) windu shrimp in the market of Sidoarjo with the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) method. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Applied Chemical Technology Medical Laboratory of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo and the Chemistry Laboratory of FMIPA of Maulana Malik Ibrahim University of Malang. Data analysis methods use measurement and observation as well as descriptive statistical analysis. The results of heavy metal levels in this study obtained the highest levels of lead heavy metals (Pb) of 0.596 mg/kg while the lowest levels amounted to 0.544 mg/kg and the highest levels of zinc heavy metals (Zn) amounted to 3.930 mg/kg while the lowest levels amounted to 3.016 mg/kg.

Abstract

Massage treatment is part of traditional health services which can provide a stimulating and relaxing effect, improve the blood and lymph circulation system and strengthen other body systems, intended to improve health and fitness. Massage treatments generally use massage oil containing essential oils as aromatherapy. The use of essential oils in aromatherapy, especially through massage treatments, must be mixed with carrier oil in the form of vegetable oil such as sunflower seed oil. Pengalangan village is a sunflower agrotourism village with great sunflower potential but the results of sunflower cultivation are still less than optimal and are limited to sunflower seed food. Therefore, the team provides an Eco-preneurship solution with an effort to increase the selling value of the results of processing sunflower seeds in the form of oil to be processed into massage oil. This effort was carried out by providing material using the lecture method and continued with training in making massage oil for PKK cadres and village residents as participants. The end of this activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge by 16.8%, as well as an increase in participants' skills in making massage oil products independently.

Abstract

Digital Marketing adalah istilah untuk pemasaran barang atau jasa yang terukur, ditargetkan, serta interaktif yang menggunakan teknologi digital. Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat telah memudahkan dunia bisnis, termasuk dalam hal keuangan. Produk serta layanan keuangan berbasis digital seperti fintech, semakin diminati oleh masyarakat. Salah satu faktor yang mendorong pertumbuhan industri fintech adalah perkembangan UKM. UKM semakin banyak yang menggunakan layanan digital untuk memudahkan konsumen dalam bertransaksi. Perkembangan usaha kecil menengah (UKM) yang terus bertambah juga menjadi pemicu terhadap berkembangnya industri fintech di Tanah Air. Tujuan penyuluhan ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh strategi penyuluhan 8 formula membangun bisnis di Desa Pengalangan Menganti. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalukan tahapan observasi, penyiapan materi, pembuatan pre-test serta post-test dan tahap evaluasi. Peserta dalam penyuluhan ini berjumlah 22 orang. Dari hasil pnyuluhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkat pengetahuan warga mengenai cara membangun bisnis dengan baik.

Abstract

Introduction. Telang flower contains chemical compounds such as flavonoids that have the pharmacological potential as an antioxidant. The flavonoid compounds in plants are assumed to have antioxidants and the ability to protect the skin from UV rays. Method. This research method used a descriptive-analytic approach. The sampling of telang flowers was conducted in the greenhouse garden of the Biology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya. Result&Analysis.The research stages include the process of extracting flowers by maceration method, the process of microemulsion system from telang flower extract, microemulsions characterization, SPF values testing on microemulsion of telang flower extract and statistical data analysis. Discussion. Based on the table of multiple comparison test results in formulation 0 with hypotheses 1, 2 and 3 having a p-value of <0.05, it can be interpreted that there are differences in each formulation. However, there is no difference between formulation 1 and hypothesis 4 which has a p-value of> 0.05.

Abstract

Introduction. Metanil yellow is a synthetic coloring material used for textile products, wood paint, painting paint, and fur. Despite its use having been banned in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of Indonesia No. 239/MENKES/PER/V/1985, metanil yellow is still commonly found in the local community. In Indonesia, this coloring material is often misused to color various types of food, including herbs, crackers, noodles, tofu, and yellow snacks. The purpose of this research is to validate the analytical method for determining metanil yellow levels in herbal medicine of jamu using the UV-Vis spectrophotometric method. Method. In this research, the determination of metanil yellow levels was carried out by instrument analysis using the UV-Vis Sectrophotometric method. Result & Analysis. In the linearity validation parameter, the regression equation y = 0.0548x-0.01398 is obtained with an r² value of 0.9999, the LOD parameter is 0.11686 ppm, LOQ is 0.5620 ppm, the precision parameter RSD value obtained is 0.87% which meets the requirements of ≤ 4%. Furthermore, the results on the determination of metanil yellow levels in each sample A obtained a percentage of 0.00006755% ± 3.9260; sample B obtained a percentage of 0.000110% ± 10.5309; and sample C obtained a percentage of 0.0001023% ± 9.2998. Discussion. Given the very low concentration, it is possible that the yellow color in the herbal medicine samples is not completely caused by metanil yellow, but it might also be influenced by other natural ingredients with yellow pigments.

Abstract

Indonesia is ranked seventh in the world for the most smartphone users, supported by changes in the modern era where technology is increasingly sophisticated, thus having an impact on daily activities. One of them is the use of telemedicine applications. Diabestie is one of the telemedicine services that provides online health consultations focusing on diabetes, where diabetes in Indonesia is considered a major health problem with more than 10 million people living with diabetes. There are still those who think telemedicine services are difficult to operate, so this research was conducted to find out the influence of ease and usability of use on the attitudes of Diabestie application users. The findings revealed that ease of use and usability of use influence attitudes toward use. In other words, perceived usability and ease of use are important for people to determine their attitude towards Diabestie's telemedicine app services. Furthermore, people will tend to adopt a service when they find that it is useful and easy to use. Keywords: Diabetes, Telemedicine, Diabestie, Telemedicine Applications Abstrak Indonesia peringkat tujuh dalam pemakaian smartphone terbanyak dunia, didukung oleh perubahan pada era modern dimana teknologi yang semakin canggih, sehingga memberikan dampak dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Salah satunya yaitu penggunaan aplikasi telemedicine. Diabestie merupakan salah satu layanan telemedicine yang memberikan konsultasi kesehatan online yang berfokus pada penyakit diabetes, dimana diabetes di Indonesia dianggap sebagai masalah kesehatan utama dengan lebih dari 10 juta orang yang hidup dengan diabetes. Masih terdapat pihak yang menganggap layanan telemedicine sulit untuk dioperasikan, sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemudahan dan kegunaan penggunaan dengan sikap pengguna aplikasi Diabestie. Hasil penelitian menyatakan kemudahan penggunaan dan kegunaan penggunaan berpengaruh terhadap sikap penggunaan. Dengan kata lain, kegunaan yang dirasakan dan kemudahan penggunaan merupakan hal yang penting bagi masyarakat untuk menentukan sikap mereka terhadap layanan aplikasi telemedicine Diabestie. Masyarakat akan cenderung untuk menggunakan suatu layanan ketika mengetahui layanan yang disediakan bermanfaat dan mudah untuk digunakan.
