Abstract

Textile Jaya Gemilang is a textile company that has a cotton fabric finishing unit. In the identification carried out the company still produces waste and has not yet carried out an environmentally friendly process. Therefore efforts are needed to identify waste in the process of finishing woven fabrics to make the process environmentally friendly by considering the level of eco efficiency and eco costs to determine the proposed process that is environmentally friendly. This research includes steps such as analyzing value stream mapping to find out activities that have value added and categorized as NVA. Furthermore, measurements of environmental impacts were carried out with LCA (Life Cycle Analyzing) and then gave a proposal to provide a proposed process with the 6R approach (reuse, reduce, recycle, remanufacturing, recovery and redesign) in the process of finishing cotton cloth obtained by waste, namely in appropriate processing, defect and waiting time . The results of the Life Cycle Assessment showed results for a process of 248.76 pt, for Life Cycle Impact Assessment Damage Category Human Health of 4.8813 DAILY, Damage Category Ecosystem Quality of 310,000 PDF * m2yr and for Damage Category Resources 1615,646 MJ surplus . Eco cost is Rp. 608,425,018.2. Proposed environmentally friendly process by raising the level of green manufacturing to recycling and reuse.

Abstract

Determination of room rate in a hotel isinfluenced by two factors, namely internal andexternal. From an external perspective, PT. PIMhas eight competitor hotels that affect its roomrate. The Hotel Manager analyzes eachcompetitor's room rate changes to staycompetitive. Human analysis has severalshortcomings: subjectivity, fatigue andinconsistency. Then we need a decision supportor decision companion machine to determine theroom rate. ANFIS-PSO is a hybrid algorithmfrom the Adaptive neural network based fuzzyinference system (ANFIS) by utilizing ParticleSwarm Optimization (PSO) optimization.Traditional ANFIS is Gradient Decent (GD) asan algorithm for parameter optimization (model). This often happens to be stuck to get optimallocal results, to overcome this PSO is used as asolution. The results obtained from the ANFIS- PSO training contained a difference of Rp.3173,187 or a percentage of 1.34%. From themodeling obtained applied to the hotel PT.PIM,with the result of an increase in revenue of Rp.17,493,548. The conclusion obtained is thatANFIS-PSO can help managers to determine theroom rate by modeling data obtained from theANFIS-PSO method. Suggestion for thedevelopment of this research is that ANFIS-PSOhas a complex complexity of training algorithmsbecause there is a combination of twoalgorithms, so to make it better a differentalgorithm design is needed.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the reliability of the ACM, identify the main failure modes, compare the application of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methods, and develop a risk management model based on Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a case study of the ACM P/N 782630-5 installed on the CN235-220 Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) operated by Air Squadron 800, Pusat Penerbangan TNI Angkatan Laut (Puspenerbal TNI AL). The data consisted of historical maintenance records from 2016–2025, which were analyzed using the parameters of Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), availability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and FMECA. The results showed 21 malfunction incidents with a total downtime of 283 hours, an MTBF value of 190.48 hours, an MTTR value of 13.48 hours, and a failure rate of 0.00525 failures per hour. The components with the highest criticality levels were the bearings, rotors, and turbine wheels. Reliability analysis indicated that the recommended preventive maintenance interval was every 68–70 operating hours. The TPM analysis produced an availability score of 92.93%, performance efficiency of 96.69%, quality rate of 97.52%, and OEE value of 87.63%, indicating that maintenance effectiveness was categorized as good. The recommended maintenance strategy combined Condition-Based Maintenance, Scheduled Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, and Focused Improvement, integrated with risk management to improve ACM reliability and enhance aircraft operational readiness.

Abstract

Workover operations in oil and gas well are the life line of mature well, but with oil and gas price today, the cost-effective operation is the heart of future operation. Offshore well workover is a sequential activity with high equipment, personnel, transportation, and safety constraints. This study examines an ESP change out program well WSU-3HZ performed with Hydraulic Workover Unit (HWU)-225 based on operational data where experienced an increasing on operational cost up to 101,2% and operating days up to 165%. This study aims to develops an operational improvement by integrating Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Just-In-Time (JIT), Just-In-Case (JIC), and Multi Attribute Failure Mode Analysis (MAFMA). Historical time log and lookahead data shows 335.5 hrs completion time, comprising 137.25 hrs of Value Added (VA), 67.75 hrs of Essential Non-Value Added (ENVA), and 130.5 hrs of Non-Value Added (NVA), yielding a Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE) of 40.91%. The root cause analysis by 7 waste tool and fishbone diagram indicates that the largest systemic issue was an unplanned change in work scope without corresponding with logistic readiness, particularly the introduction of CSG scrapper activities after ESP damage was identified. Survey on 36 workers shows stronger acceptance of JIC (HI 5.68) than JIT (HI 4.34), supporting the differentiated logistics policy rather than full JIT implementation. MAFMA-WRI places the unplanned CSG scrapper, weather related problem, Vessel/transportation waiting, equipment preparation, and Slickline related problems among the principal improvement priorities. The proposed future state retains JIC for critical and long lead resources while applying JIT for selected lower critical item. The modelled configuration reduces Leadtime to 241 hrs, raises PCE to 77.7%, and indicates potential savings of approximately USD 225,260. The study therefore supports Hybrid JIT-JIC policy reinforced by pre-job engineering verification, equipment readiness, logistic synchronization, and contingency planning.
