Abstract

The purpose of this study’s to improve children's story reading comprehension skills by applying the think pair share learning model. CAR takes place in two cycles, each cycle consists of 2 meetings and 4 stages. The subjects of this study are classroom teachers and students of grade V SD Negeri Karangasem 4 No.204 Surakarta 2017/2018 academic year. Data analysis technique used is interactive analysis model from Miles&Hubberman. Technique of validity test in this research use triangulation technique and triangulation of source. The conclusion of this research that is model of think pair share can impove reading comprehension skill of child story.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the teacher strategy in storytelling skills Indonesia language learning in online based-learning on the 5th grade of SD Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta in the academic year 2020/2021. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Taking research subjects using the Purposive Sampling Technique by conducting interviews, observation, and document studies on the informants. The data source of this study was teacher of grade 5 at SD Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta and six childern as research samples. The results of this study idicate that teacher uses many strategies in storytelling skills Indonesia language learning in online based-learning. There are obstacles faced by teacher and students on that learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students' descriptive essay writing skills. This type of research is qualitative research and was conducted on fourth grade students of SDIT Islamy. The subject selection technique used purposive sampling and took 20% of the class IV population. Data collection techniques using tests, observations, interviews. Aspects of descriptive essay writing skills are the involvement of the five senses, the suitability of the content with the title, organization, effective sentence mastery and vocabulary selection, and spelling. The results showed that the percentage of sensory involvement aspect was 0%, content conformity with title was 83%, organization was 0%, sentence mastery and effective vocabulary selection was 0%, spelling was 0%. The biggest percentage result is from the aspect of conformity of the content to the title, while the lowest aspect is from the involvement of the five senses, organization, effective sentence mastery and vocabulary selection, and spelling. Based on the previous explanation, it was concluded that the analysis of the descriptive essay writing skills of the fourth grade students of SDIT Islamy was in the very poor category. The theoretical implication of this research is to increase knowledge about the analysis of descriptive essay writing skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the students' reading comprehension ability in class V SDN 01 Karangmojo. This study is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of this research were 5 fifth grade students of SDN 01 Karangmojo. The subject selection technique is done by criterion based selection. Research data were collected through test data collection techniques, documentation and interviews. This research uses the validity test with the triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. The results showed that the reading comprehension ability of fifth grade students of SDN 01 Karangmojo based on Barrett's taxonomy is literal and reorganization comprehension are the most dominant indicator of reading comprehension ability. This means that students are able to find the meaning of words, determine main ideas, choose important paragraphs, and capture information that is implied in the reading. Low reading comprehension skills are in inferential and evaluative comprehension. Students are quite able to evaluate the content in the reading but have not been able to draw conclusions, assess ideas and express reasons for choosing these ideas.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to: (1) describe students' reading interest in reading literal comprehension of narrative texts, (2) describe students' learning motivation in reading literal comprehension of narrative texts. The research design used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The research was carried out at SDN 1 Pantirejo Sragen.  The subject of this research was 5th grade students wihich had 13 students. Collecting data using questionnaires, observations, tests, and interviews. The validity of the data used is a triangulation technique with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of the research conducted showed that: (1) students' reading interest and motivation in reading comprehension skills were different and not the same, (2) students' reading interest and learning motivation were related to their literal reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of students in science learning in class IV. The method used in this research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kayugeritan for the 2021/2022 academic year. The data obtained from this study came from the results of tests on students' critical thinking skills in science learning. Test the validity of the data in this study using content validity. The data analysis technique used in this research is using the theory of Miles and Huberman which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kayugeritan are different. There are 20 students who are declared skilled in critical thinking and 7 students who are not yet skilled in critical thinking. Based on the indicators of critical thinking skills, there are still students who have not met these indicators.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of school based management in SD Negeri Genuk 01 District West Ungaran in terms of context, input, process and product. This study was qualitative evaluative research using CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model of evaluation developed by Stufflebeam. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Test validity of data using triangulation technique. The results showed that: 1) from the context evaluation, school based management is needed by all stakeholders of the school to improve the quality of education; 2) from the input evaluation, human resources, curriculum, facilities, and funds were sufficient and ready to be used for the implementation of the school based management in primary School Genuk 01; 3) from the process evaluation, the implementation of school based management was not fully in accordance with the plan, especially in the decision making process and the learning process; 4) from the product evaluation, product (output) produced has not been as expected. It is therefore recommended that the school based management program continued with improvements in program implementation process.

Abstract

Post-merger integration will definitely bring up new dynamics or problems in aspects of corporate culture and human resources. The clash of organizational culture conflicts is a critical factor that determines the success or failure of a merger process, therefore, the topic of organizational culture is an important one to study because, from here, the identity of a business organization will be revealed. Implementation of a good organizational culture will definitely be directly proportional to sharia compliance. Two years after the merger, Bank Sharia Indonesia has shown a positive trend towards the company's performance. The problem of this research can be formulated as follows: how is the strategy of Bank Sharia Indonesia in harmonizing organizational culture clashes during mergers, how is the implementation of sharia values (sharia compliance), and how is the review of maqâsid al-syarî'ah in both of these? This study aims to determine the strategy of Bank Sharia Indonesia in harmonizing organizational culture clashes that arise during a merger and how it is implemented in adherence to sharia values. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative with a case study approach. The results of this study found BSI strategies for harmonizing organizational culture. First, the BSI founder created the "AKHLAK" work culture, called trustworthy, competent, harmonious, loyal, adaptive, and collaborative, which was applied to all BSI personnel. Secondly, they consolidated before the merger the legal action of the three banks in the merger process; BSI did not lay off any of the HR of the banks participating in the merger.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aimed to see the desciptions of the increasing of the number of the Fifth Grade students at SD Inpres 5/81 Tibojong whose his or her science learning outcomes have achieved completeness and incompleteness through the implementation of the Take and Give learning model. The subjects of this research were 20 fifth grade students. The action design in this research consists of two cycles with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection technique used is a test technique at the end of each cycle. The data analysis technique used is percentage descriptive statistical techniques. The research results showed an increase in the number of students who achieved complete science learning outcomes from 70% complete and 30% incomplete in cycle I to 90% complete and 10% incomplete in cycle II. Conclusion: the application of the Take and Give learning model can increase the number of class V students at SD Inpres 5/81 Tibojong, East Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency whose science learning outcomes reach completion, which also means that the application of the Take and Give learning model can improve students' science learning outcomes

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (CPP) partners are the teachers at SD Inp. 12/79 Biru 1 Watampone, Bone Regency. Objective: To describe the factors that support the achievement of teachers' abilities in training to find the level of difficulty of questions using applications. Data collection techniques included observation and questionnaires. Results and conclusions: the factors are supporting the success of the training in using an application to determine the difficulty level of sums include: curiosity, trainer strategies, a familiar training environment, easy-to-understand teaching/demonstrations by the trainer, direct individual guidance from the trainer, responsiveness to participant difficulties or needs, participants' perceived need for the training materials, systematic presentation of the materials, participant enthusiasm for participating in the activities, and the support from relevant parties.
