Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the impact of online learning on the social competence and personality of teachers at SD Negeri Purwotomo No. 97 Surakarta during the Covid-19 Syndemic. This research is a case study qualitative research. The research subject was a grade II teacher at SD Negeri Purwotomo No.97 Surakarta. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data validity used source and technique triangulation techniques. Data analysts use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The impact of online learning on the social competence of teachers include the decreased ability of teachers to communicate and get along with students, increase the ability of teachers to communicate and interact effectively with parents, increase the ability of teachers to be inclusive, act objectively, and not discriminate against students and parents/guardians of students, increasing the ability of teachers to be active, creative, and fun, and teachers do not take advantage of the use of other communication technologies. The impact of online learning on the teacher's personality competencies include increasing responsible attitudes, decreased teacher discipline in starting learning on time, and less able teachers to be good role models for students. The conclusion of this research that online learning has a positive and negative impact on social competence and teacher personality.Kata kunci: online learning, social competence, personality competence, primary school

Abstract

This study aims to examine elementary school teachers’ awareness of digital safety. The digital safety in this study are comprised of four competencies as indicator, such as: (1) protecting device; (2) protecting personal data and privacy; (3) protecting health and well-being; (4) protecting environment. This study use triangulation design of mix-method approach, with both quantitative and qualitative data collection. This study is conducted on SD Negeri Mangkubumen Lor No. 15, a public school in Laweyan, Surakarta. The subjects of this study are 20 teachers of SD Negeri Mangkubumen Lor No. 15.  Quantitative and qualitative data collection both used to explore teacher’s knowledge, attitude and behavior toward digital safety through the use of questionnaire, semi structured interview and secondary data gatheting. The result of this study found that the teachers already have awareness about digital safety in all four indicators of digital safety. However, their guidance regarding student’s digital safety still limited only on protecting health and well-being indicator. The finding also implicate that there’s a need of continuous improvement and transformation regarding teachers’ digital literacy as to welding future digital risk as well as the need of parents’ collaboration.

Abstract

The purpose of the service is to train elementary school teachers to have the competence to make Technology-Based Learning Evaluation Instruments for Elementary Teachers in the City of Surakarta. In addition to training teachers, this service also aims to analyze teacher competencies in the Technology-Based Learning Evaluation Instrument for Elementary Teachers in Surakarta. The subject of this service is an elementary school teacher in the city of Surakarta. The method used in this service starts with Workshop, Practice, and Implementation. In conducting this training, the subjects were asked to take a test related to the preparation of Technology-Based Learning Evaluation Instruments for Elementary Teachers in the City of Surakarta. Analysis of the data used is pre-test and post-test. The result of this activity is that there is an increase in the knowledge and understanding of teachers regarding the preparation of Technology-Based Learning Evaluation Instruments for Elementary Teachers in the City of Surakarta

Abstract

The purpose of the service is to train elementary school teachers to have the competence of Scientific Publication on Elementary Teachers in the City of Surakarta. In addition to training teachers, this service also aims to analyze teacher competencies in Scientific Publications on Elementary Teachers in Surakarta. The subject of this service is an elementary school teacher in the city of Surakarta. The method used in this service starts with Workshop, Practice, and Implementation. In conducting this training, the subjects were asked to take a test related to the preparation of articles and Scientific Publications. Analysis of the data used is pre-test and post-test. The result of this activity is that there is an increase in teacher's knowledge and understanding of the preparation of scientific articles and Scientific Publications.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to: (1) describe students' reading interest in reading literal comprehension of narrative texts, (2) describe students' learning motivation in reading literal comprehension of narrative texts. The research design used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The research was carried out at SDN 1 Pantirejo Sragen.  The subject of this research was 5th grade students wihich had 13 students. Collecting data using questionnaires, observations, tests, and interviews. The validity of the data used is a triangulation technique with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of the research conducted showed that: (1) students' reading interest and motivation in reading comprehension skills were different and not the same, (2) students' reading interest and learning motivation were related to their literal reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of students in science learning in class IV. The method used in this research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kayugeritan for the 2021/2022 academic year. The data obtained from this study came from the results of tests on students' critical thinking skills in science learning. Test the validity of the data in this study using content validity. The data analysis technique used in this research is using the theory of Miles and Huberman which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kayugeritan are different. There are 20 students who are declared skilled in critical thinking and 7 students who are not yet skilled in critical thinking. Based on the indicators of critical thinking skills, there are still students who have not met these indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di kelas IV sebuah Sekolah Dasar di Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data interaktif oleh Milles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran online di kelas IV terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. perencanaan yaitu dengan menyiapkan RPP dan media pembelajaran. tahap implementasi dengan memanfaatkan beberapa macam aplikasi. Tahap evaluasi adalah mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran dan hasil kerja siswa. Kendala pelaksanaan pembelajaran keberanian adalah kurangnya motivasi siswa, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, dan keterbatasan kemampuan menggunakan platform pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung belajar berani adalah: sekolah memfasilitasi wifi dan sekolah memfasilitasi kuota internet. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat diartikan bahwa kelas IV salah satu sekolah dasar di Surakarta telah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan berani namun masih menemui berbagai kendala.

Abstract

Permainan tradisional Nusantara kaya akan nilai budaya dan edukasi, namun kurang optimal dalam pemanfaatannya sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji strategi optimalisasi permainan tradisional Nusantara bagi guru SD di Indonesia. Artikel ini merupakan kajian literatur terkait permainan tradisional Nusantara dan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kajian literatur dengan mencari referensi teori yang relevan dengan kasus atau permasalahan yang ditemukan. Hasil kajian literatur ditemukan berbagai strategi optimalisasi permainan tradisional Nusantara, antara lain integrasi dengan materi pelajaran, modifikasi aturan dan permainan, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran, dan penyelenggaraan festival permainan tradisional. Implementasi strategi tersebut menunjukkan hasil positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar dan halus, kerjasama tim dan komunikasi, dan pengetahuan budaya dan nilai-nilai luhur. Kesimpulan hasil kajian literatur yaitu optimalisasi permainan tradisional nusantara dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar di Indonesia.
