Abstract

The competencies that have to be achieved by the Special Needs Education students of FKIP Lambung Mangkurat UniversityBanjarmasin with the enactment of curriculum based on KKNI are to develop science and technology, skills, attitude and behavior as professional education teachers. Guided inquiry study method gives the opportunity to Special Needs Education students to be actively involved in solving the problem. The aims of the research are (1) to understand about guided inquiry learning method, lecturers’ needs for HOTS level assessment instrument (antecedent phase). (2) to analyze learning implementation and students’learning difficulties (transaction phase), and (3) to know about students’ ability on HOTS level assessment (outcome phase). This research used descriptive method with Stake’s evaluation model. The research was conducted in the special needs education program of FKIP Lambung Mangkurat University Banjarmasin, with the subject of 50 students and 2 lecturers. Questionnaires were used as data collection. The results: (1) the lecturers have understood the guided inquiry method, but the learning implementation is still concentrated to the lecturers, the students are passive (2) in arranging assessment, the lecturers have not fully used the case study model to reach HOTS level, and (3) the students’ ability in completing assessment in high level (27%), moderate (42%) and low (31%). The conclusions are the lecturers have not been able to implement the real learning inquiry. It is required to review the questions together and train the students to be active so that they are able to accomplish the assessment with HOTS level.

Abstract

This evaluation study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of inclusive Elementary School Gadang 2 in Banjarmasin. This evaluation study used a CIPP model and data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, observation and study documentation. Analysis of data used qualitative descriptive technique developed by Glickman’s with quadrant type. The results of this evaluation study gave a conclusion that implementation of inclusive education program in Gadang 2 Banjarmasin less effective. Some things are not in accordance with the evaluation criteria, namely: the stated goals were not in accordance with the realities today, the recruitment of students with special needs have not done well, the school was not equipped with adequate infrastructure and financing remains low besides social attitudes as a component of outcome was not in accordance with the evaluation criteria

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of success of learning in Physical Education, Sports and Health (Physical Education) class IX 2018/2019 academic year at SLB-C of South Kalimantan Province and to produce recommendations for decision makers to follow up on the ongoing learning program. The evaluation model used in this research is the CIPP evaluation model using descriptive statistical analysis techniques with percentages. This technique is used to analyze data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires, and uses a model developed by (Daniel Stufflebeam, 2014), namely (1) context, (2) input, (3) process, and (4) product or what is called CIPP. Data were collected from observations, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the overall variable of SLB-C of South Kalimantan Province gets a percentage of 70.5% with good criteria. Based on the results of these data, it can be decided that overall educational learning in the State Special School Guidance for South Kalimantan Province is in good criteria. Recommendations based on the results of this study are to continue the learning program, but accompanied by revisions to several variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil dari survey pemahaman dosen terhadap kebutuhan pembelajaran mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus dari tiga prodi yang mengajar dilingkungan FKIP ULM apakah dosen tersebut memahami kebutuhan pembelajaran untuk mahasiswa berkebutuhan atau tidak memahami betul bagaimana dan seperti apa pembelajaran yang sesuai. Adapun yang menjadi latar belakang dalam melakukan penelitian ini yaitu dimana sekarang ini kampus ULM menjadi kampus inklusi sehingga menerima mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus dalam penerimaan tersebut salah satu indikator dalam kebutuhan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif yang dimana subjek nya itu adalah dosen yang ada di FKIP.

Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai hak bagi seluruh warga negara tanpa membedakan asal-usul, status ekonomi, hingga keadaan fisik seseorang. Dalam Sistem Pendidikan Nasional yang tercantum pada Undang Undang Nomor 20 tahun 2003, pendidikan dijamin penuh tanpa adanya diskriminasi dalam bentuk apapun. Perihal inilah yang menjadi urgensi pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusi tanpa terkecuali di Sekolah Dasar. Artikel bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran kreatif dalam pendidikan inklusi, khususnya di jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Artikel ini disusun dengan menggunakan desain tinjauan pustaka. Demikian, dimanfaatkan mesin pencarian untuk pengumpulan sumber kepustakaan. Artikel mendeskripsikan pembelajaran bagi peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, di jenjang Sekolah Dasar tidak hanya berfokus pada keterampilan motorik tetapi juga untuk mampu berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sosial. Strategi pembelajaran yang kreatif guru dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan tujuan, materi pembelajaran, media, metode, evaluasi, hingga lingkungan belajar peserta didik. Adapun strategi pembelajaran yang bisa diaplikasikan bagi peserta didik ABK di jenjang Sekolah Dasar dengan remedial teaching, strategi deduktif, induktif, heuristik, ekspositori, klasikal, kooperatif, hingga perubahan perilaku. Dalam menunjang kebutuhan tersebut, maka guru disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi media belajar yang ramah bagi peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, seperti puzzle

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Penelitian pengembangan dipilih dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa model pembelajaran di lingkungan pendidikan inklusif. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan beberapa hal: pertama kondisi objektif proses pembelajaran mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus di perguruan tinggi masih belum benar-benar bermakna, sebab mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus hanya seakan-akan menjadi bagian pasif di kelas, datang ke kampus, duduk tenang tanpa betul-betul diketahui mereka memahami materi pembelajaran atau tidak. Kedua, model pembelajaran yang telah diimplementasikan sebelumnya kurang mampu membuat proses belajar menjadi bermakna sebab belum secara sistematis memasukan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus khususnya mahasiswa dengan hambatan pendengaran. Ketiga, “Reaction” merupakan sebuah model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan untuk mahasiswa dengan hambatan pendengaran yang telah dikembangkan peneliti di lingkungan program studi pendidikan khusus tempat dilaksanakannya penelitian

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pelakasanaan pembelajaran keterampilan menjahit bagi siswa tunagrahita ringan di SMALB YPLB Banjarmasin yang meliputi 1) Perencanaan Pembelajaran, 2) Proses Pembelajaran, 3) Evaluasi Pembelajaran, 4) Faktor Penghambat dan Upaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil peneitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran keterampilan menjahit di SMALB YPLB Banjarmasin belum efektif dan sesuai dengan prosedur; 1) Tidak adanya perangkat perencanaan pembelajaran keterampilan menjahit seperti instrumen asesmen, silabus dan RPP. 2) Guru memberikan motivasi atau pun penguatan kepada siswa, guru menerapkan strategi serta metode pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa dan menggunakan fasilitas penunjang keberhasilan proses pembelajaran dengan baik. 3) Guru tidak menggunakan alat penilaian dalam melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran keterampilan menjahit.4) faktor penghambat pelaksanaan pembelajaran keterampilan menjahit dalam mengembangkan kemandirian siswa tunagrahita ringan yaitu ruang keterampilan menjahit yang kurang mendukung, siswa jarang turun ke sekolah, guru tidak berlatar belakang keterampilan menjahit, siswa mudah bosan dan moodian. Adapun upaya yang dalam mengambangkan kemandirian siswa tunagrahita yaitu guru harus memahami karakteristik siswa, guru memotivasi siswa, guru mengkondisikan proses pembelajaran keterampilan, dan mendatangkan penjahit profesional.

Abstract

This study describes the challenges faced by deaf students in online learning, focusing on three aspects: internet access and use of media, volunteer assistance, and interaction in online learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Sources of data in this study were deaf students and volunteers. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis model, which consisted of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study describe that 1) deaf students have problems with internet networks and quotas so that they are not optimal in attending lectures, besides that deaf students also experience problems in using learning media used in lectures, for example, in using zoom, and e-learning SIMARI, students Deaf people still have difficulty using some of the features contained in e-learning. 2) volunteers who are tasked with assisting deaf students are active students. The practice of mentoring is not optimal because volunteers also learn from their homes. In addition, the distance between the houses of deaf students and volunteers is quite far, and some are even in different cities. This will further hinder the process of assistance. 3) the lack of assistance by volunteers also has an impact on the interaction of deaf students with lecturers and deaf students with regular students during online learning. Abstract

Learning in elementary schools is presented thematically by combining several subjects in a theme. In special schools and inclusive schools, teachers with special education backgrounds have an important role in simplifying the subject matter by adjusting the results of each child's assessment, one of which is science material. Support for learning services for special needs children requires various preparations from various parties such as educators so that skills in preparing materials, determining approaches, models, methods, and learning media become a pedagogical competency that must be mastered by prospective special education teacher students. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project Based Learning model which consists of stages of planning, implementation, evaluation and presentation to build the pedagogical competence of students of the Special Education Study Program as prospective teachers in teaching science material to Children with Special Needs. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The results showed that lectures with project-based learning models through the stages of planning, implementation, presentation and evaluation were able to build student pedagogical competence in terms of special needs children's assessment, learning assessment, lesson plans modification, making science learning media, role-playing lesson plans modification, and implementing lesson plans that has been prepared in order to prepare special education students to become professional teacher candidates.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang dialami oleh guru SLB Negeri 2 Martapura selama ini, yaitu: kurangnya pemahaman guru mengenai penerapan Universal Design for Learning. Sebagai salah satu solusi atas permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan adanya aplikasi AJAR MBK. Kata “AJAR MBK” bermakna Mengajar Peserta Didik Berkebutuhan Khusus. Aplikasi AJAR MBK merupakan aplikasi pembelajaran bagi peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus berbasis Universal Design for Learning (UDL).  Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru SLB Negeri 2 Martapura mengenai pembelajaran berbasis Universal Design for Learning melalui aplikasi AJAR MBK. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dalam bentuk pelatihan dengan tahapan ceramah bervariasi, demonstrasi dan latihan yang dihadiri oleh 33 orang guru pada tanggal 12 agustus 2023 di SLB Negeri 2 Martapura. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan nilai rerata sebesar 56% dan hasil post-test menunjukkan nilai rerata sebesar 78% sehingga dapat dikatakan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 22%. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan penggunaan AJAR MBK terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan guru terhadap konsep peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus dan UDL, serta keterampilan mengaitkan konsep UDL dalam proses pembelajaran peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus.One of the problems experienced by SLB Negeri 2 Martapura teachers so far is the lack of understanding of the application of Universal Design for Learning as one of the solutions to these problems is the AJAR MBK application. The word "AJAR MBK" means Teaching Learners with Special Needs. AJAR MBK application is a learning application for students with special needs based on Universal Design for Learning (UDL). This community service aims to increase SLB Negeri 2 Martapura teachers' understanding of Universal Design for Learning-based learning through the AJAR MBK application. The method of implementing this activity is training with stages of varied lectures, demonstrations, and exercises attended by 33 teachers on August 12, 2023 at SLB Negeri 2 Martapura. The pre-test results showed an average value of 56%, and the post-test results showed an average value of 78%, so it can be said that there was an increase of 22%. This activity concludes that the training on the use of AJAR MBK is proven to increase teachers' knowledge of the concept of students with special needs and UDL, as well as skills in linking UDL concepts in the learning process of students with special needs.
