Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of motivation achievement and academic achievement on citizenship problem-solving. This study used a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. The research population was 704 students of State University of Malang, namely students which were taking Civics Education courses in the even semester of the academic year 2018/2019. The sample consisted of 70 students that were chosen by a purposive random sampling technique. Data collection was done by questionnaire, documentation, and essay test. Questionnaires were used to measure achievement motivation, documentation was used to obtain academic achievement data, and essay tests to measure problem-solving abilities. Data analysis used multiple regression with the SPSS application. The results of the study indicated that achievement motivation influenced the ability to solve citizenship problems. Academic achievement affected the ability to solve citizenship problems. Simultaneously, achievement motivation and academic achievement together affected the ability to solve citizenship problems.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the forms, causes, and efforts to minimize the occurrence of deviant behavior patterns in college students. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The main subjects in this study were students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Malang, who were supported by the involvement of lecturers and teaching staff as supporting informants. Observations, interviews, and documentation were used as procedures for data collection techniques. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that there were three forms of student deviant behavior in academic performance, namely the fabrication of research proposals in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Seminar, falsification of assignments for the Personality Psychology course, and plagiarism of Public Policy course assignments. The causes of this deviant behavior were laziness, lack of time management, and lack of learning discipline. The two-way communication process through deliberation and delivery of commitments to improve behavior was chosen as an effort to minimize the occurrence of deviant behavior in academic performance in universities.

Abstract

Berangkat dari hasil observasi dan wawancara terkait dengan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar pada mahasiswa disabilitas pada semester genap 2019/2020 dan Ganjil 2020/2021 terkait dengan media penyampaian materi perlu adanya modifikasi terkait dengan fungsinya. Hal ini ditemukan permasalahan terkait pada materi power poin yang ditempelkan pada SIPEJAR tanpa bisa diakses secara optimal oleh mahasiswa dengan hambatan pengelihatan sehingga perlu ditambahkan sebuah audio atau suara terkait dengan isi naskah pada powerpoin tersebut. Temuan juga terjadi pada mahasiswa dengan hambatan pendengaran sebagai pendalaman materi mereka membutuhkan video interpreter agar dapat mendalami penjelasan diluar tekstual yang tertayang sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan proses pemahaman materi dari dosen. Oleh karena itu dirasa perlu adanya pengembangan pada media powerpoin agar lebih aksesibel bagi mahasiswa disabilitas sehingga dapat mewujudkan iklim belajar yang inklusif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Hasil penelitian ini adalah pengembangan media dikatakan sangat layak dengan perolehan 91,6% dari Validator serta hasil uji coba terbatas yang juga menyatakan sangat layak dengan presentase hasil 92%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by evaluating the effectiveness of Pancasila education learning in the last hour, considering that at this time students often experience a decrease in concentration and energy. The aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the allocation of Pancasila education learning time in the last hour on the discipline of students at SMK Negeri 2 Probolinggo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with questionnaires, observation and documentation. The research samples were students of class X TPM 1, X TPM 4, . The results of the questionnaire also show that learning Pancasila Education is categorized as "effective" because Pancasila Education has basic values ​​that emphasize discipline, responsibility and compliance with rules, and is able to shape students' character. Through this learning, students are not only given an understanding of the material but also how to apply Pancasila values ​​in shaping student character. This subject can also be an alternative "tool" to maintain student learning discipline.

Abstract

This study explores the sustainability innovation of taro potato as an alternative to environmentally friendly rice wrapping, aimed at farmer groups in Blitar Regency. The research investigates the potential of taro potato, a locally abundant and underutilized resource, to replace traditional non-biodegradable materials used in rice wrapping. By introducing taro potato as a sustainable alternative, the study seeks to provide an eco-friendly solution that aligns with the growing demand for green practices in agriculture. The findings indicate that taro potato-based wrapping not only reduces environmental impact but also adds value to local agricultural products, thereby supporting the economic sustainability of farmer groups in Blitar Regency. This innovation has the potential to enhance environmental stewardship and promote sustainable agricultural practices within the community.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi prinsip-prinsip good governance dalam pelayanan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Malang. Kajian ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kajian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil kajian yaitu pada proses pelayanan PPDB SMP di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Malang dilaksanakan secara 2 tahap meliputi tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan. Kemudian prinsip good governance sudah diterapkan pada pelayanan PPDB SMP di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Malang. Meskipun prinsip telah diterapkan dengan baik namun masih terdapat kendala dalam implentasi prinsip-prinsip good governance yang juga terdapat pada sembilan prinsip good governance pada pelayanan PPDB SMP di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Malang.

Abstract

E-government is an effort to create good government management, including the creation of a digital service innovation, namely Sabdopalon, in Jombang Regency to improve the quality of services in villages. This article aims to determine the implementation of digital service innovation in Sabdopalon village in realizing e-government as well as the obstacles in its implementation. To find out, qualitative research methods were used with a descriptive type and data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis in this research uses elements of e-government success according to the Harvard JFK School of Government, namely Support, Capability, and Value. The research results show that the implementation of e-government through Sabdopalon's digital service innovation has not been implemented well. Even though there are legal guarantees from the local government, the infrastructure is not yet supportive enough and outreach is not comprehensive enough. The relationship with human resource capacity is still not optimal, but the budget is sufficient. In terms of value, it is good, that the existence of Sabdopalon makes it easier for people to get services, especially village administration correspondence. Obstacles encountered include a lack of human resources who understand IT well, many people do not know about the existence of Sabdopalon, and the uneven distribution of the internet network. Based on this, the local village government needs to optimize the implementation of Sabdopalon services through comprehensive socialization and provision of supporting infrastructure, as well as equal distribution of the internet network. so that the benefits of Sabdopalon services can be felt widely by the community.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the problem of the low quality of Student Worksheets (LKPD) used by teachers at SMP Negeri 16 Malang City. The LKPD in circulation are generally not in line with the characteristics of innovative learning models such as Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL), so they are not optimal in supporting the development of 21st century skills. The purpose of this activity is to improve teachers' understanding of the PBL and PjBL models and the deep learning approach, train teachers in compiling LKPD based on these models with the help of live worksheet technology, and produce contextual and applicable LKPD. The method used is service learning through four stages: survey, preparation, implementation, and evaluation-follow-up. The results show that the training activities carried out using blended learning are able to significantly improve teachers' understanding, facilitate the preparation of LKPD that are in line with PBL and PjBL syntax, and encourage critical reflection through presentations and peer feedback. Evaluation through questionnaires showed a positive response from participants, especially in terms of material relevance and resource person competence.
