Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies of parents to improve children's empowerment through the habit of doing daily work at home (chores) to optimize child growth and development. This research is focused on children aged 4-5 years. This type of research is a case study using an ethnomethodology qualitative approach. The focus of the research was conducted in two young households with parents background as a government employee and parents with the background as household assistants. The main data sources in this study are the parents of children, household assistants, and children concerned. Data is collected through in-depth interviews and observations in the child's home environment. Data analysis was performed using interactive analysis techniques, through phasing (1) selecting and sorting information, (2) elaboration of information, and (3) verifying information and (4) summarizing research findings. The results showed that there were different strategies and different achievement targets in developing children's empowerment through habituation of daily work at home for young families with job backgrounds as government employee and family a background as household assistant. AbstrakThis study aims to describe the strategies of parents to improve children's empowerment through the habit of doing daily work at home (chores) to optimize child growth and development. Abstract

The fell in job opportunities due to competition in getting a job is one of the reasons for many entrepreneurs who finally decide to open their businesses to create job opportunities both for themselves and for more people out there, including students with Down Syndrome. Thus, to deal with this, entrepreneurial skills training for Down syndrome students is needed to train the four entrepreneurial skill groups. Researchers used qualitative research methosyndroma down to identify the relationship between skills and behavior in forming skills, the Delphi method, and processing primary data from observations and FGSyndroma down with related stakeholders. As a result, we can suggest activities that can boost Down Syndrome students' entrepreneurial skills. Skills that are used in this paper are generated by grouping some factors into one grouped skill. These skills will be connected to expected behavior as a dependent or independent factor with special modifications in order to adapt to a disabled person. This paper shows how behaviors can trigger the skills by one or more events and vice versa.Keywords: down syndrome, entrepreneur program, non formal education

Abstract

This article presents a study of Pancasila as a way of life for the Indonesian nation, specifically in the administration of education. This paper reveals how the universal values in Pancasila play a role in the practice of education towards the prosperity of the nation. This article combines practices in higher education and in non-formal education. This article was written using the bibliography method to provide a comparison of each scientific reference about the study written. This paper shows that the precepts in Pancasila are the crystallization of all disciplines and important aspects of life. Pancasila is the simplicity of complexity from science. Education should be based on values, governance, and prosperity. How knowledge becomes the basis of character that is managed with an awareness of the growth of social justice for all and is oriented towards encouraging the prosperity of the nation.

Abstract

The purposes of the research were: 1) identify the implementation of agriculture extention in the pangean district kuantan singingi, 2) analyze performance of rice farmer groups in the pangean district kuantan singingi. This research used survey method. This research was conducted in the pangean district kuantan singingi from May to October 2016. The respondents were 78 people which were selected by purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and likert scale. The results showed that: The results showed that: 1) the implementation of counseling in the District of Pangean was carried out well, the extension workers totaling eight people assist 17 villages and this sub-district is still lacking 9 extension workers. The targets of extension activities are farmers and rice farming groups in Pangean District. Methods and materials adapted to their needs. The counseling material provided were the "jajar legowo" planting system, the benefits of using superior seeds, fertilization, administrative control and time adjustments in the planting season and extension was carried out twice a month and 2) performance of rice farmer groups in the pangean district categorized as not too good with a value score of 2.36. The ability to the plan activities of rice farmer groups have a quite good category with a value score of 2.66, the ability to organize activities categorized quite good with a value score of 2,75, the ability to implement activities categorized poor with a score of 2.11, the ability to control and report categorized as not too good with score of 2.15, and ability to develop leadership categorized as not too good with score of 2.14.

Abstract

This article examines the quality assurance model implemented by Community Learning Center (CLC) Al-Madinah in Kediri City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Research data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Research data was analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The research results show that CLC Al-Madinah implements an internal quality assurance model that is participatory, collaborative and sustainable. This internal quality assurance model includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, assessment and improvement. This internal quality assurance model has several advantages and disadvantages that need to be considered and improved by CLC Al-Madinah and other non-formal institutions. This research provides several recommendations for CLC Al-Madinah and other non-formal institutions in improving the quality of educational services. This study also has several limitations that need to be addressed by future research.

Abstract

The use of field schools is considered the best approach to accelerate the empowerment stages as well as the process of understanding knowledge and acquiring skills through joint activities in the community directly. This research aims to obtain information about the principles of andragogy in empowering the community to meet the educational needs of Children with Special Needs through the Field School Approach. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection in this research was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this research include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Triangulation is used to explain the validity of data by using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this research obtained data that the principles of andragogy applied to Field School activities can create community empowerment. Key words : andragogy, community empowerment, ABK education, field schools
