Abstract

This research's objective was to ascertain how motivation and job satisfaction affected every junior high school teacher's performance. The saturated sampling method was used to select 35 teachers for this study. Analysis is conducted using multiple linear regressions. The findings of the study demonstrate that instructors' motivation and job satisfaction significantly affect their performance. At the same time, job happiness and motivation have a significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (1) perencanaan digitalisasi sekolah pada sekolah penggerak tingkat SD di Kota Gorontalo, (2) pelaksanaan digitalisasi sekolah pada sekolah penggerak tingkat SD di Kota Gorontalo, (3) pengawasan digitalisasi sekolah pada sekolah penggerak tingkat SD di Kota Gorontalo. Merode penelitian yang digunakan yakni eksplanatori. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni dengan melakukan penyebaran angket dan wawancara. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pengelolaan digitalisasi sekolah pada sekolah yang melaksanakan Program Sekolah Penggerak tingkat SD di Kota Gorontalo dalam memanfaatkan dan mengembangkan platform digital. Penelitian ini dilakukan di 8 (delapan) Sekolah Dasar di Kota Gorontalo dengan jumlah responden penelitian ada 68 orang yang terdiri dari 60 orang guru dan 8 Kepala Sekolah yang melaksanakan Program Sekolah Penggerak angkatan pertama di Kota Gorontalo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan digitalisasi sekolah pada sekolah penggerak tingkat SD di Kota Gorontalo, terletak pada kategori pencapaian “Sangat Baik” dengan rata-rata sebesar 89,73% (2) pelaksanaan digitalisasi sekolah pada sekolah penggerak tingkat SD di Kota Gorontalo, terletak pada kategori pencapaian “Baik” dengan rata-rata sebesar 86,50% (3) pengawasan digitalisasi sekolah pada sekolah penggerak tingkat SD di Kota Gorontalo, terletak pada kategori pencapaian “Baik” dengan rata-rata sebesar 86,81%.

Abstract

This investigation employs a quantitative approach and involves field research. The method utilized is a simple regression analysis with a total population of 50 students. The data was collected via questionnaires and documentation. The findings reveal that the students' optimism is at an excellent level, whereas their learning achievement is in the moderate range. Furthermore, there is a positive and significant correlation between optimism and academic performance. The results indicate that the f-count > f-table, and the table probability value is 0.000, which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), demonstrating a significant outcome. Thus, it can be inferred that the higher the level of optimism, the better the academic performance. The fact that optimism influences learning achievement provides opportunities to boost students' optimism. Consequently, teachers bear the responsibility of enhancing students' optimism, either directly or indirectly. By fostering and elevating an optimistic mindset in students, it is expected that they will enhance their cognitive processes and academic outcomes, paving the way for success.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship Implementation Strategies Achievements Against Corporate Performance (Studies in PT. (Persero) Gorontalo Branch State Electricity Company). Targets to be achieved in this research is the improvement of the performance of PT. PLN Branch Gorontalo both financial and non-financial aspects as well as to bring transparency, accountability, responsibility and fairness of organizational management of SOEs, especially in PT. (Persero) Branch State Electricity Company Gorontalo. Basic data collection, namely through a list of questions that tested through the validity and reliability of each item contained questions on the questionnaire. The analytical method used is the path analysis (path analysis) by first converting the data into an interval scale ordinal scale. The object of this research is the implementation of the strategy and performance of the company. The first hypothesis testing results show that the simultaneous implementation of strategies which include good corporate governance (corporate governance) (X1), the structure or design organization (X2), strategic leadership (X3), and strategic control (X4) of 0.852 or 85, 2% and there are external variables that influence the performance of this variable of 0.148 or 14.8% eg management control systems and operational management. While testing the hypothesis that sub-variables of good corporate governance (corporate governance) (X1) partially significant effect on the achievement of corporate performance (Y) at the test level 0.05 or 5% of 42.5%; structure or design organization (X2) partially significant effect on the achievement of corporate performance (Y) at the test level 0.05 or 5% of 42.4%, strategic leadership (X3) partially significant effect on the achievement of corporate performance (Y) at test level 0.05 or 5% for 33.6% and strategic control (X4) partially significant effect on the achievement of corporate performance (Y) at test level 0.05 or 5% of 10.2%.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the readiness to implement the Zone of Integrity (ZI) in the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, regarding change management, governance arrangements, and HR management. This study used a quantitative approach and the type of descriptive, explanatory research. Questionnaires, interviews, and document studies were conducted to obtain the data. Further, the data was analyzed using a simple descriptive technique expressed in the percentage formulation. The results showed that: (1) Readiness of ZI implementation in Faculty of Education in terms of change management was in the ready category, (2) Readiness of ZI implementation in Faculty of Education in terms of management arrangement was in the ready category, and (3) Readiness of ZI implementation in Faculty of Education in terms of HR management is in the ready category.Keywords: Integrity Zone Readiness; Implementation; Faculty of EducationAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan penerapan Zona Integritas di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo ditinjau dari manajemen perubahan, penataan tata laksana, dan manajemen SDM. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif eksplanatori. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner (angket), wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan formulasi persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kesiapan penerapan ZI di FIP ditinjau dari manajemen perubahan berada pada kategori siap, (2) Kesiapan penerapan ZI di FIP ditinjau dari penataan tata laksana berada pada kategori siap, dan (3) Kesiapan penerapan ZI di FIP ditinjau dari manajemen SDM berada pada kategori siap.Kata Kunci: Kesiapan Zona Integritas; Implementasi; Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan

Abstract

SMEs play a vital role in economic growth, yet sustaining competitiveness remains a challenge. This study examines the impact of market orientation and financial acumen on SME competitiveness in Indonesia, with innovation capability and resource optimization as mediators and market dynamics and financial decision-making ability as moderators. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS, data were collected from 500 SME owners and managers across various regions in Indonesia. The findings confirm that market orientation and financial acumen positively influence SME competitiveness, with innovation capability and resource optimization significantly mediating these effects. Additionally, market dynamics strengthen the impact of market orientation, while financial decision-making ability enhances the effect of financial acumen on competitiveness. These results emphasize the need for SMEs to integrate market-driven strategies with strong financial management practices to sustain long-term success. Practically, SME owners should invest in financial literacy, strategic decision-making, and innovation to enhance their competitive advantage. Policymakers and financial institutions should provide financial training programs, market intelligence resources, and innovation incentives to support SME growth. Future research could explore longitudinal studies and industry-specific dynamics to refine SME competitiveness strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Gorontalo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pegawai Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Gorontalo yang berjumlah 132 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan kriteria pegawai tetap menghasilkan 36 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert 5 poin. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS) melalui software SmartPLS 3.0 Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (β = 0,973; p = 0,000); (2) kecerdasan emosional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai secara langsung (β = 0,010; p = 0,953); (3) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (β = 0,358; p = 0,049); (4) kepuasan kerja memediasi secara penuh (full mediation) pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kecerdasan emosional mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai secara tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pegawai dengan kecerdasan emosional tinggi akan lebih puas dalam bekerja, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kinerja mereka. Implikasi manajerial dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya Bank Indonesia Provinsi Gorontalo untuk mengembangkan program pelatihan kecerdasan emosional dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung kepuasan kerja pegawai.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe: (1) The selling value of MIM Unggulan Kota Gorontalo; (2) The implementation of selling value consistency at MIM Unggulan Kota Gorontalo; and (3) The effectiveness and impact of brand equity management at MIM Unggulan Kota Gorontalo. This research employed a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis model employed was the interactive analysis model, which involved data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was tested using source triangulation. The results of this study show that: (1) The central selling values of MIM Unggulan Kota Gorontalo, which build and strengthen the brand equity of “Unggulan,” include: an A accreditation, an innovative curriculum, professional human resources, modern facilities and infrastructure, outstanding extracurricular programs, and various innovative initiatives; (2) The implementation of consistent selling values at MIM Unggulan Kota Gorontalo is carried out through creative and consistent promotional strategies on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube; and (3) The effectiveness of brand equity management at MIM Unggulan Kota Gorontalo has proven to strengthen the brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty. This substantial brand equity has become the main competitive advantage of MIM Unggulan Kota Gorontalo.

Abstract

 The purpose of this study was to analyze: (1) the level of fulfillment of educator competency standards in public junior high schools in Gorontalo City, (2) the level of fulfillment of educators’ academic standards in public junior high schools in Gorontalo City, (3) the level of fulfillment of academic standards according to educators’ field of duty in public junior high schools in Gorontalo City, and (4) the level of fulfillment of certification academic standards relevant to educators’ scientific field in public junior high schools in Gorontalo City.This study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The subjects of this study were teachers, with a total sample of 221 participants. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive quantitative analysis in the form of percentages.The results of this study indicate that: (1) the level of fulfillment of educator competency standards is in the good category with a percentage of 84.46%; (2) the level of fulfillment of educators’ academic standards is in the good category with a percentage of 82.7%; (3) the level of fulfillment of academic standards according to educators’ field of duty is in the good category with a percentage of 81%; and (4) the level of fulfillment of certification academic standards relevant to educators’ scientific field is in the good category with a percentage of 88%.

Abstract

This research aims to describe management aspects and learning transition strategies from high school to college. This research uses library study or content analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that managing a successful transition from high school to college is critical to students' academic success, especially in the first year. Various studies show that many students are less prepared to study at university and experience obstacles, especially in the aspect of learning adjustment. The gap not only occurs in the secondary school system which does not fully prepare its students to enter college, but colleges also do not have the equipment to accommodate students from secondary schools. To make the transition from high school to college, students need to make adjustments and be supported by the people and systems in their environment. From the aspect of students who will become students, they need to prepare three separate stages in the transition process, namely: separation/separation, transition/transition and merger/merger. From the aspect of higher education, it is necessary to prepare strategies, programs and services to facilitate the transition for students who will enter college. This article reviews the results of a collection of literature regarding management and successful strategies implemented in various countries in facilitating learning from high school to university. The purpose of this literature review is to produce recommendations and considerations that can be used as guidelines for students, parents and universities involved in transition to manage the transition well and successfully.
