Abstract

Pesantren is the oldest educational institution in Indonesia.Pesantren is one of the traditional Islamic education systems in Indonesia which is also very influential in the social character of the Indonesian nation. Pesantren is an institution that always participates in building the nation's character in every condition with the characteristics of the pesantren itself.The problem in this study is how the role of pesantren in shaping the nation's morals and character. And the purpose of this study is to find out how the role of Islamic boarding schools in shaping the morals and character of the nation. This type of research is qualitative. The primary data used are books that discuss the curriculum and the role of Islamic boarding schools. While the secondary data used are books or research results that are directly related to the problem. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis, which is trying to explore the existing problems and then analyze them. The results of the study indicate that Islamic boarding schools have a role in shaping the morals and character of the nation. It is proven by the number of nations born from Islamic boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools need to be preserved and developed. That's how pesantren have many roles and provide concrete evidence in shaping the morals and character of the nation.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk strategi penerapan sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) pada masa Pandemi Covid-19 bagi guru Madrasah Aliyah DDI Bontang. Desain penelitian menggunakan penelitian lapangan (field work research) dengan desain penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian yaitu di Madrasah Aliyah DDI Bontang. Adapun data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu kondensasi data, model data (data display), penarikan/verifikasi kesimpulan dan dipresentasikan dengan teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran jarak jauh yang telah diterapkan oleh guru madrasah Aliyah DDI Bontang, yaitu melalui model kombinasi daring-luring, yakni model pembelajaran yang menerapkan jaringan komputer, internet dan perangkat lainnya pada proses pembelajaran, mulai dari penyampaian bahan belajar atau tugas, interaksi pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Adapun media Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) yang telah digunakan oleh guru MA DDI Bontang, ialah hanya memaksimalkan aplikasi E-Learning Madrasah, serta memanfaatkan whatsapp grup sebagai media komunikasi utama melalui pendekatan personal atau home visite (mengunjungi langsung di rumah masing-masing).

Abstract

The increased usage of electronic devices by children has prompted a discussion regarding its impact on emotional intelligence. According to a number of studies, children's emotional intelligence can benefit from the moderate use of electronic devices, including the improvement of social and communication skills. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the positive and negative effects of technology on the emotional intelligence development of children. Utilizing a literature analysis, this study examines the impact of gadget use on children's emotional intelligence. The findings indicate that excessive or uncontrolled use can result in emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, and lack of awareness of the surrounding environment. Therefore, it is essential to limit children's gadget and ensure that they have ample access to activities that foster emotional intelligence. To maximize the benefits of device use for children, parents should play a crucial role in establishing limits and educating their children on emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Artikel ini telah berusaha mendiskripsikan bagaimana pemahaman mahasiswa tentang moderasi beragama di perguruan tinggi umum. Adapun yang menjadi objek penelitian ini di wilayah Kota Bontang. Adapun subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Bontang (STITEK), mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Industri Bontang (STTIB), mahasiswa Universitas Trunajaya Bontang (UNIJAYA). Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, melalui pendekatan fenomenologis. Selanjutnya peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan insidental sampel, yaitu pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara tiba-tiba dengan memperhatikan data yang akan diperlukan oleh peneliti. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti temukan sejumlah data atau keterangan di lapangan melalui proses wawancara, kemudian datanya dianalisis sehingga peneliti dapat memberikan sebuah kesimpulan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa tentang moderasi beragama di perguruan tinggi umum masih menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai toleransi beragama, terbukti pergaulan antar agama terjalin dengan harmonis, serta peneliti tidak menemukan unsur sikap atau pemikiran serta tindakan yang bersikap radikal.

Abstract

An overview of the management of technology-based higher education and digital applications in an era that is now increasingly developing is becoming a critical study. For this reason, we conducted several interviews with more of the supervisors at Bontang University. Then we also believe in studying some of the scientific evidence that has raised technology-based education in tertiary institutions, which we then examine by involving various techniques such as data coding, and in-depth data interpretation to get answers as valid and reliable study findings. After going through a series of discussions and reviewing the results of interviews and other scientific evidence, it can be concluded that a review of technology-based education governance is a critical study considering that there are still many universities that have not fully opened their doors to technology-based teaching for management reasons and other limitations. These findings will be valuable insights for developing similar research in the future.

Abstract

Literasi memiliki manfaat yang sangat baik bagi kehidupan siswa di masa depan. Dengan meningkatkan gerakan literasi yang dilakukan oleh siswa maka akan mampu menciptakan generasi yang berkualitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi yang digunakan guru kelas dalam meningkatkan gerakan literasi di kelas IV SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan dengan guru kelas IV SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengadopsi model Miles dan Huberman, sedangkan uji validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada empat macam strategi yang digunakan oleh guru Kelas IV di SD Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the teacher's role and the implications of learning Aqidah Akhlak in the formation of the religious character of students at MTs Thoriqul Ulum Trawas. Qualitative with a case study approach has been used in this study. Data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation methods, while validity techniques use credibility, source triangulation, technical triangulation, and dependability. The results of the research are presented as follows: 1. Akhlak Aqidah teachers become motivators, mentors, and educators for students and are also less than optimal in their roles as facilitators and demonstrators. 2. The implications of Aqidah Akhlak teachers in forming the religious character of students at MTs Thoriqul Ulum, namely making students have the nature of discipline, responsibility, and honesty.

Abstract

This investigation employs a quantitative approach and involves field research. The method utilized is a simple regression analysis with a total population of 50 students. The data was collected via questionnaires and documentation. The findings reveal that the students' optimism is at an excellent level, whereas their learning achievement is in the moderate range. Furthermore, there is a positive and significant correlation between optimism and academic performance. The results indicate that the f-count > f-table, and the table probability value is 0.000, which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), demonstrating a significant outcome. Thus, it can be inferred that the higher the level of optimism, the better the academic performance. The fact that optimism influences learning achievement provides opportunities to boost students' optimism. Consequently, teachers bear the responsibility of enhancing students' optimism, either directly or indirectly. By fostering and elevating an optimistic mindset in students, it is expected that they will enhance their cognitive processes and academic outcomes, paving the way for success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimanakah pengembangan media pembelajaran tata wudhu dalam film pendek berbasis kearifan lokal? 2) Bagaimanakah kevalidan media pembelajaran tata cara wudhu dalam film pendek berbasis kearifan lokal? 3) Bagaimanakah keefektifan media pembelajaran tata cara wudhu dalam film pendek berbasis kearifan lokal?. Penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian Research & Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa analisis data diperoleh media pembelajaran yang valid melalui analisis validitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil validitas untuk media pembelajaran sebesar 0,79 dan termasuk dalam kategori valid begitu pula dengan tim kontruksi dan seterusnya. Keefektifan media pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil catatan lapangan selama proses pembelajaran yang disi oleh peneliti diperoleh bahwa siswa merespon dengan baik pembelajaran menggunakan media yang dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa media pembelajran berupa media pembelajaran berbasis film pendek yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria media pembelajaran yang valid dan efektif.
