Abstract

Inventory control is a guarantee that the material to be used in the process must always be available at the minimum possible cost. PT HAKAASTON Sei Langsat is engaged in manufacturing asphalt concrete with asphalt and river stone which has not optimal inventory management, which is characterized by a shortage of raw materials when carrying out the production process and resulting in delays in fulfilling consumer demand. With this problem, a research on raw material inventory was conducted using the continuous review system method which aims to control raw material inventory better and optimally. After conducting analysis and calculations using a continuous review system, the optimal number of orders for asphalt is 44,037 Kg and river stone is 23,259 Kg, asphalt reorder point value is 22,665 Kg and river stone is 1,317,611 Kg, asphalt safety stock is 12,048 Kg and stone times, which is 719,394 Kg, while the total cost of inventory using the continuous review system method is Rp. 4,297,432,432, which is smaller than the total cost based on company policy, which is Rp. 5,408,267,366, and savings of Rp. 1,110,834,934 or 21%.

Abstract

PT Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa is a company engaged in the field of general contractor, marketing, service and suppliers. In the asphalt and concrete production process at PT Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa there are still employees who do not pay attention to work procedures, do not use complete PPE, such as not using project helmets, safety shoes, masks, goggles and ear plugs. So there are still work accidents. Based on the results of work accident interviews that often occur at PT Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa, namely falls from heights, collisions, hearing loss, slipping, and electric shock. Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) is one of the methods used to control the risk of work accidents and carry out a risk assessment, which aims to prevent work accidents that can occur. This research was conducted to reduce accidents that can occur at PT Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa. The results of the study using the HIRA method found 8 findings of potential hazards in the production area of PT Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa with moderate to extreme levels of risk.

Abstract

PT Indotruck Utama is a company that supplies and distributes heavy equipment, including Volvo trucks and construction equipment. One of the main problems this company faces is overstocking in the warehouse, which can lead to additional storage space, increased inventory costs, and the risk of damage to goods. This research aims to optimize inventory management by controlling stock at an ideal level and comparing the current total inventory cost with the proposed price. In this study, the Continuous Review System method is applied by first grouping spare parts using the ABC method. This method categorizes inventory items based on the contribution of fund absorption, where category A items absorb the most significant funds, category B is intermediate, and category C has the most minor fund absorption. A total of 24 spare parts items were grouped into these three categories. Next, inventory requirements were forecasted using historical data to estimate the number of spare parts required in the future. Based on the forecasting results, estimated inventory requirements, optimal ordering point (Q*), reorder point, and safety stock were calculated for each item. The results showed that the current total inventory cost reached Rp 343,368,047.63, while with the implementation of the Continuous Review System, the cost can be reduced to Rp 333,425,336.79. Thus, there is a savings of Rp 9,942,710.84 or about 2.90%.

Abstract

This study explains the redesign of the vendor layout at Panam Market in Pekanbaru using the association rules – market basket analysis method. The research aims to determine consumer shopping behavior patterns and to reorganize the vendor layout at Panam Market Pekanbaru. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the reorganization of the vendor layout at Panam Market Pekanbaru was carried out based on the calculation of the support factor with a minimum value of 3% and the confidence value with a minimum of 60%. From the data processing results using the RapidMiner application, it was found that several vendor stalls in the market need to be positioned closer to each other based on the level of association, categorized as absolutely related, very important, fairly important, neutral, unimportant, and very unimportant.

Abstract

In terms of potential, the people of Palas Village mostly depend on the agricultural sector, industrial employees and fisheries in the river basin (DAS). One of the local potentials that is quite prominent is the existence of a Fishing Park on the banks of the Siak River (SUSI). With 6 floating houses and 2 fishing boats, it can improve the decent life for partners by seeing changes in their increasingly improving economic growth so that the sustainability of this program can be carried out in such a way. Implementation in the form of intensive implementation and assistance to produce mobile-based floating house empowerment products. The activities that have been carried out are the manufacture of 5 floating houses for a size of 2x2 meters and 1 unit with a size of 3x5 meters, as well as one unit of fiber boat made from new with a 7.5 Hp engine and repair of 1 unit of 20 Hp capacity boat, as well as the installation of a 100Wp solar panel lighting system and financial management and asset management training have also been carried out as well as social media-based marketing training.

Abstract

This study aims to overcome production capacity constraints in the HB Azaki Original Tempeh MSME using the TOC approach. The problem faced by this MSME is the imbalance between available production capacity and market demand, which results in late deliveries and waste of resources. Initial analysis using RCCP revealed bottlenecks at the soaking and fermentation workstations, with load percentages reaching 111.93% and 108.42%, respectively. Based on the study's results, the soaking and fermentation workstations experienced bottlenecks due to positive variance values and a load percentage exceeding 100%. After identifying these constraints, an optimization model was formulated using Lingo 20.0 to determine the optimal production mix while considering capacity limitations. Verification results showed that the fermentation workstation remained overloaded despite optimal scheduling, and thus, a constraint elevation strategy was implemented by adding one worker. This improvement reduced the fermentation workstation load to 48.65%, effectively eliminating the bottleneck and increasing throughput. The novelty of this study lies in integrating TOC with LP-based optimization, enabling simultaneous bottleneck identification and optimal production planning tailored to the characteristics of traditional food SMEs. This combined approach provides a practical, data-driven solution to improve capacity planning and support SMEs in meeting fluctuating market demand.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the blood supply chain and determines potential causes of substandard supply chain performance. Unfulfilled demand for blood at UDD PMI Indragiri Hilir in 2021 reached 970 bags, or 14.1% of all orders. The method used is SCOR (supply chain operation references) and CLD (cause loop diagram). The novelty of this research is applying the SCOR model to holistically measure the blood supply chain's performance and determine the leading causes of low performance. The total value of supply chain performance is 77.78, which is a good category. The results show that Five matrices fall into the low-performance process on the Production attribute (28.24), Capacity Utilization Screening (37.50), Capacity Utilization of Blood Quarantine Storage Cabinets (39.01), Capacity Utilization of Healthy Blood (44.44), and Capacity Utilization Crossmatch (33.3). Based on CLD analysis, potential root causes of the low performance of the supply chain with the CLD model are five low-performance matrices on production attributes influenced by voluntary donors and replacement donors, the number of donors, and blood tapping.
