Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the efficiency of fish silage mixed in compounded diets on growth and survival rate of grouper (Epinephelus coioides). Grouper (2,34±0,24 cm, and 4,17±1,82 g) were divided into four groups and cultivated in 1x1x1,5 m floating net cages. Each group fed with compounded diets containing 0, 1, 3 and 5 g/kg fish silage diet twice daily. Fish were sampled for growth performances and feed efficiency at 14 days interval for 10 weeks. Results indicated that compounded diets at 1 and 3 g/kg silage affected the growth rate. Total length, specific growth rate and weight gain significantly increased in fish received 1 and 3 g/kg silage diets. The feed intake seen to be highest in groups administered 3 g/kg silage, whereas the best feed conversion ratio was found in fish fed 1 g/kg silage. Thus, this study indicated that using fish silage in compounded diets may affect feed efficiency and growth performances of grouper juveniles.Keywords:Artificial dietFeedingFish silageGrouperNet cages

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) difokuskan kepada penambahan rumah topping koloni melalui penerapan teknologi domestifikasi dengan tujuan memenuhi kuantitas rumah topping kepada kelompok tani maju jaya, pemerintah kampung bengkelang dan pengidam. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory rural appraisal dan transfer teknologi melalui serangkaian tahapan kegiatan antaranya koordinasi, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan, pendampingan serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Seluruh tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan kepada 25 anggota poktan maju jaya terangkum melalui lembar post- test dimana 38,3% anggota kelompok mengetahui materi tentang domestifikasi rumah topping koloni, 53,9% sangat memahami teknik pembelahan rumah topping, 12% anggota poktan sangat mengetahui materi masa terbit NIB pada OSS dan jenis dokumennya, 42% cukup paham dengan masa berlaku NIB itu dan 24% anggota kelompok memahami fitur-fitur yang tertera dalam content itu. Disimpulkan bahwa 47% anggota kelompok cukup memahami materi jumlah rumah topping baru hasil domestifikasi, 46% anggota poktan cukup mengetahui masa panen tanaman penghasil nectar dan 16% sangat mengetahui peraturan terkait pengurusan NIBAbstract: This community service (PKM) is focused on increasing the number of topping colony houses through the application of domestication technology with the aim of meeting the quantity of topping houses for poktan Maju Jaya, Bengkelang and Pengidam farmer groups. The method used is participatory rural appraisal and technology transfer through a series of stages, including coordination, socialization, implementation of activities, mentoring, as well as monitoring and evaluation. All stages of activities are summarized through a post-test sheet where 38.3% of group members are knowledgeable about the material on the domestication of colony topping houses, 53.9% understand the technique of dividing topping houses very well, 12% of the farmer group members are very knowledgeable about the issuance period of the NIB in OSS and its types of documents, 42% have a sufficient understanding of the validity period of the NIB, and 24% of group members understand the features mentioned in the content. It is concluded that 47% of group members have a sufficient understanding of the material on the new number of topping houses resulting from domestication, 46% of farmer group members have sufficient knowledge about the harvesting period of nectar-producing plants, and 16% are very knowledgeable about the regulations related to NIB management.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini merupakan lanjutan dari penelitian terdahalu yang bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan teknologi crabbing box pada 15 angggota kelompok pembudidaya kepiting soka Laut Berjaya dalam rangka pemenuhan ketersediaan produk itu di masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory rural appraisal dan transfer teknologi melalui serangkaian tahapan kegiatan antaranya koordinasi, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan, pendampingan serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Keseluruhan tahapan kegiatan mulai dari koordinasi hingga monitoring dan evaluasi tercatat melalui instrument lembar posttest yang memperlihatkan 26,6% anggota kelompok sangat memahami ukuran cangkang kepiting yang dihasilkan paska moulting, 23% anggota yang lain memahami dengan baik kadar suhu air, PH dan jumlah oksigen terlarut yang ideal dalam budidaya kepiting soka, 80% anggota kelompok mengetahui tata cara penempatan crabbing box pada kolam, 67% anggota pokdakan memahami teknik penyambungan crabbing box, 27% anggota yang lain memahami teknik pencatatan dan penjualan produk. Disimpulkan bahwa rerata 40% anggota kelompok sangat memahami keseluruah teknik budidaya kepiting soka mulai dari tahap pemijahan, pembesaran, moulting hingga penjualan produk. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa budidaya kepiting soka mampu meningkatkan pendapatan anggota kelompok hingga 20% per siklus panenAbstract: This community service (PKM) it is a continuation of previous research with the aims to apply crabbing box technology to the Laut Berjaya Cultivation Groups. The method used is participatory rural appraisal and technology transfer through a series of activity stages including coordination, socialization, implementation of activities, mentoring and monitoring and evaluation. All stages of activities carried out from coordination up to monitoring and evaluation are listed on the post-test sheet instrument which shows that 26.6% of group members really understand the size of crab shells produced after mounting, 23% of other members understand well the water temperature levels, PH and the ideal amount of dissolved oxygen in cultivation. soft shell crab, 80% of group members know the procedures for placing crabbing boxes in ponds, 67% of cultivation groups understand the techniques for connecting crabbing boxes, 27% of other members understand the techniques for recording and selling products. It was concluded that an average of 40% of group members really understood all soft-shell crab cultivation techniques starting from the spawning, enlargement, mounting stages to product sales. This shows that cultivating soft shell crabs can increase the income of group members by up to 20% per harvest cycle

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini didasarkan atas tingginya permintaan aneka produk kerajinan berbahan bambu oleh beberapa UMKM yang dihasilkan melalui teknologi alat serut bambu ramah lingkungan bagi peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas produk sehingga berdampak terhadap penciptaan nilai tambah produk oleh kelompok tani oloh aceh tamiang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan edukatif dan transfer teknologi melalui serangkaian tahapan kegiatan antaranya koordinasi, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan, pendampingan serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Seluruh tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan tercatat melalui lembar pretest dan post test dimana 5 anggota kelompok (33,3%) memahami prinsip kerja alat serut itu, 7 anggota kelompok (46,6%) cukup memahami materi gerakan alat serut bambu, 5 anggota kelompok (33,3%) memahami dengan baik materi teknik pencatatan produk, dan 2 anggota kelompok (13,3%) sangat memahami materi perhitungan neraca laba rugi Disimpulkan bahwa 6 anggota kelompok (40%) mengetahui prosedur penggunaan alat serut bambu, 13 anggota kelompok (86,6%) memahami jenis bambu yang cocok dijadikan aneka produk kerajinan, 10 anggota kelompok (66,6%) sangat mengetahui teknik penghalusan produk bambu, 4 anggota kelompok (26,6%) mengetahui teknik pencatatan buku kas kelompok dan 2 anggota kelompok (13,3%) memahami tatacara pengisian buku penjualan produk. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa produk stik bambu mampu menghasilkan pendapatan 50% bagi kelompok tani ini.Abstract: This service to the community is based on the high demand for various bamboo craft products by several MSMEs which are produced using environmentally friendly bamboo planer technology to increase the quality and quantity of products so that they have an impact on the creation of added value for products by oloh farmer group in Aceh Tamiang District. The method used is an educational approach and technology transfer through a series of activity stages including coordination, socialization, implementation of activities, mentoring and monitoring and evaluation. All stages of the activities carried out were recorded through pretest and posttest sheets where 5 group members (33.3%) understood the working principle of the planer, 7 group members (46.6%) quite understood the material on the movement of the bamboo planer, 5 group members (33.3%) understand the product recording techniques well, and 2 group members (13.3%) really understand the profit and loss balance sheet calculation material. It was concluded that 6 group members (40%) knew the procedures for using bamboo planers, 13 group members (86.6%) understand the types of bamboo that are suitable for making various craft products, 10 group members (66.6%) really know the techniques for smoothing bamboo products, 4 group members (26.6%) know the group cash book recording techniques and 2 group members (13.3%) understand the procedures for filling out the product sales book. The results of the assistance show that bamboo stick products are able to generate 50% income for this farmer group.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan teknologi mesin sedot madu linot portabel kepada 25 anggota kelompok tani maju jaya desa batu bedulang kecamatan Bandar Pusaka Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang dalam rangka menjaga kualitas produk madu linot yang telah dihasilkan selama ini oleh pembudidaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory action research dan transfer teknologi melalui serangkaian tahapan kegiatan antaranya koordinasi, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan, pendampingan serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Seluruh tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan terangkum melalui lembar post-test dimana 43,38% anggota kelompok sangat memahami teknik pembuatan mesin sedot madu linot, 15% anggota kelompok sangat memahami teknik upload produk melalui marketplace, 28% anggota kelompok memahami kecepatan menyedot madu dengan peralatan itu dan sebanyak 18 anggota kelompok (72%) mengetahui tata cara pengoperasian mesin sedot madu linot. Disimpulkan bahwa 16% anggota kelompok tani ini sangat memahami materi aspek pencatatan produk dan 64% anggota yang lain cukup memahami teknik penjualan produk. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa diseminasi mesin sedot linot sangat membantu mitra dalam mempercepat proses panen dan rumah topping madu tetap dalam kondisi terawat dengan baik.Abstract: This community service (PKM) aims to introduce portable Linot honey suction machine technology to 25 members of the Maju Jaya farmer group. The method used is participatory action research and technology transfer through a series of activity stages including coordination, socialization, implementation of activities, mentoring and monitoring and evaluation. All stages of activities carried out are summarized through a post-test sheet where 43.38% of group members really understand the technique of making a Linot honey suction machine, 15% of group members really understand the technique of uploading products via the marketplace, 28% of group members understand the speed of sucking honey with this equipment and As many as 18 group members (72%) knew the procedures for operating the Linot honey suction machine. It was concluded that 16% of group members really understood the product recording aspects and 64% of the other members had a good understanding of product sales techniques. This shows that the dissemination of linot suction machines really helps partners in speeding up the harvest process and the honey topping house remains in a well-maintained condition.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan dan meningkatkan kemampuan 18 anggota gapokkan sepakat dalam menciptakan pakan pelet menggunakan bahan baku lokal melalui mesin pakan pelet carong .Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory action research dan transfer teknologi melalui tahapan kegiatan diantaranya koordinasi, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi melalui penilaian pada lembar evaluasi hasil post test Seluruh tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan tercatat melalui lembar post test dimana 13 anggota kelompok (72 %) mengetahui tatacara penggunaan mesin pelet, 15 anggota kelompok (83%) sangat mengetahui jenis bahan baku pembuatan pakan pelet, 4 angota kelompok (22%) mengetahui metode perhitungan formulasi pakan dan 15 anggota kelompok (83%) mengetahui teknik penjemuran pakan. Disimpulkan bahwa 5 anggota kelompok ( 27,7%) mengetahui tentang materi pencatatan buku agenda, 11 anggota kelompok (61%) mengetahui materi pencatatan inventaris kelompok dan 44,4% anggota kelompok mengetahui materi pencatatan produksi. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa introduksi mesin pakan pelet carong membantu gapokkan sepakat dalam penyediaan pakan pelet sekaligus menciptakan kemandirian pakan bagi kelompok.Abstract: This community service (PKM) aims to create feed independence for the gapokkan sepakat through the carong pellet feed machine. The method used is participatory action research and technology transfer through various stages of activities, including coordination, socialization, activity implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. All stages of the activities were documented using post-test sheets, where 13 group members (72%) knew how to use the pellet machine, 15 group members (83%) were highly familiar with the types of raw materials for making pellet feed, 4 group members (22%) understood the feed formulation calculation method, and 15 group members (83%) knew the feed drying technique. It was concluded that 5 group members (27.7%) were knowledgeable about agenda book recording materials, 11 group members (61%) understood inventory recordkeeping materials, and 44.4% of group members were familiar with production recording materials. This shows that the introduction of the carong pellet feed machine helps the gapokkan sepakat in providing pellet feed while also fostering feed independence for the group.

Abstract

The declining ability of younger generations to understand and use regional languages is a growing concern, driven by globalization and the dominance of national languages in formal education. In Pesisir Timur Aceh, the Tamiang Malay language, which plays a vital role in preserving cultural identity and transmitting local wisdom, is increasingly marginalized. This study investigates the integration of Tamiang Malay into the local content curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Seruway as a strategy to address this linguistic decline. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, involving classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers, students, and community leaders, and documentation analysis of teaching materials. Data were analyzed through reduction, categorization, and verification, with triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings reveal that Tamiang Malay integration is implemented contextually through the use of textbooks, modules, and digital media infused with cultural values. Teaching strategies emphasize communicative and experiential learning, including dialogue sessions, pantun (rhyme) competitions, and folk theater performances. These methods have improved students’ comprehension of traditional vocabulary such as sidu, leren, tibun/laboh, gemane, nyambat, and pedeh, which were previously at risk of disappearing. This study concludes that integrating regional languages into the school curriculum, supported by culturally responsive pedagogy, is an effective approach to revitalizing local language use. The initiative at SMA Negeri 1 Seruway demonstrates the critical role of formal education in sustaining linguistic and cultural heritage in an increasingly globalized society.
