Abstract

Background: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), an endocrine disease that causes infertility in reproductive women, characterized by hyperandrogenemia, chronic anovulation, and Polycystic Ovary Morphology (PCOM), most PCOS women have metabolic disorders. The HOMA-IR can be used as a clinical index that is easy and sensitive to assess ovarian function in insulin-resistant PCOS women. The HOMA-IR examination has never been performed on obese PCOS patients in Madurese and Indonesia, it was carried out in Madura because it has the potential for obesity with unfavorable lifestyles such as consuming high carbohydrates and a tendency to obesity in PCOS patients. Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze yoga exercises in reducing HOMA-IR and Insulin Levels in insulin-resistant polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in the Madurese. Methods: Analytic observational study with a case-control study design, a sample of 50 patients (cases of PCOS) and 50 healthy women (non-PCOS) in the Madurese tribe, serum was taken to check HOMA-IR and insulin levels, which were examined in the laboratory. Chi-square statistical test with significance 0.05. Results: The results Chi-square statistical test with significance 0.05 showed that the case group before being given Yoga exercises the average HOMA-IR results were 40.97 and insulin levels were 61.38?l/ml while in the control group the average HOMA-IR results were 1.54 and average insulin levels were 2.9-21?l /ml, after doing Yoga exercises for 12 times and 2 times a week. Conclusion: There is a decrease in the HOMA-IR value and insulin levels. The HOMA-IR values and insulin levels decreased between before and after being given gymnastics in the case group.

Abstract

Background: Preeclampsia is an increase in blood pressure that occurs after the 20th week of gestation. Until now, the exact cause of preeclampsia is not known. During the second trimester of pregnancy the pressure in the renal veins (renal venous pressure) changes and increases. Increased renal venous pressure causes proteinuria, especially in the orthostatic position, which causes a slightly greater change in kidney size. Purpose: The aim of this study was The Relationship Between Body Mass Index And Blood Pressure With Results Of Urine Protein Examination In Pregnant Women At Bangkalan Health Center. Methods: Analytical Research Design with a cross sectional approach. Independent variable Body Mass Index and Blood Pressure, dependent variable results of urine protein examination. The sample of this study were 210 pregnant women who carried out Integrated ANC at the Bangkalan Health Center, the sampling technique used Simple random sampling. Secondary data collection by looking at medical record data, statistical tests using Rank Spearman. Results: Based on statistical tests using Rank-Spearman, the results showed ρ value (0.024) <α (0.05) indicating that there is a relationship between Body Mass Index and urine protein examination results. The results of the study ρ value (0.020) <α (0.05) there is a relationship between blood pressure and the results of urine protein examination. Conclusion: Detection of proteinuria is very important in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension in pregnancy. Proteinuria is the last symptom to appear in patients with preeclampsia.

Health services that are the first service in the health level of a region are Hospitals. One of the technologies that is currently developing is the Self-Registration Queue Machine (APM). This innovation project report aims to identify the level of satisfaction with the use of the Self-Registration Queue Machine for patients or the Community at Anna Medika Hospital Madura. This innovation project report was conducted on patients/families who use APM machines at Anna Medika Hospital, Madura. The sampling technique in this study used the Incidental Sampling Technique so that the respondents in this study were 18 respondents. The type of research used in this study is descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The questionnaire research instrument was declared valid and reliable. The data analysis used was descriptive and univariate analysis. The results of the study showed the percentage of group calculations from the Format dimension 0.566 (56.6%) and Ease of Use 0.544 (59.5%) included in the moderate category, the Content dimension 0.722 (72.2%), Accurancy 0.811 (81.1%) and Timelines 0.656 (65.6%) were in the good category. This indicates that the satisfaction of APM machine users is running well and needs to be maintained, so there needs to be socialization for officers who are less supportive. The purpose of using APM machines is to reduce registration time at the counter for health services provided to improve services for outpatient needs.

Abstract

Children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) show a high prevalence of psychological problems, yet understanding of individual variability in stress responses is limited. This study looked at how genetic and environmental factors affect stress responses in 200 preschool children (ages 3–6) from a PAUD in Bangkinang, Indonesia, including 100 with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and 100 without. Children with Developmental Language Disorder exhibited significantly greater cortisol reactivity (over 50% AUCi, p < .001), more pronounced decreases in heart rate variability (p < .001), and markedly higher anxiety spikes (p < .001) compared to control subjects. The multivariable regression analysis indicated a significant interaction between environmental and genetic variables (p < .001), collectively explaining 42% of the variation in cortisol reactivity. Cluster analysis revealed three distinct groups characterized by varying genetic and environmental risk factors: moderate responders (53%), severe stress (25%), and resilient individuals (22%). Our findings indicate that genetic and environmental factors interact in complex ways to alter the stress response of DLD, thereby supporting the development of intervention plans tailored to individual risk profiles.

Abstract

Hypertension complications associated with pregnancy affects approximately 10% of pregnancies and significantly contributes to maternal and perinatal mortality. The incidence of preeclampsia in Indonesia is considerably high, affecting 5,3% of cases per year. Preeclampsia and eclampsia rank fourth as the highest obstetric complication in East Java Province, with a percentage of around 8.11%. The frequency of preeclampsia in Bangkalan has ranked first among districts in Madura with the most cases found in Kokop District, as many as 132 cases. This study was conducted to analyze the risk factors that influence the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women in Kokop District, Bangkalan Regency. A cross-sectional design study was used, with chi-square test and logistic regression analysis. The sample obtained as many as 46 pregnant women who had been selected using a simple random sampling technique. Risk factors for Body Mass Index (BMI) categorized as obesity (p = 0.002; OR = 24.064; 95% CI 3.345 - 173.094) and maternal age (p = 0.009; OR = 14.321; 95% CI 1.930 - 106, 234) were considered to have the most partial in influencing the occurrence of preeclampsia in pregnant women. These two risk factors associated with preeclampsia are also influenced by the local traditions and cultural practices of the Kokop District community.
