Abstract

In accordance with the theory of a small open economy, Indonesia including the category of countries whose economies are vulnerable to the effects from another country who has a close working relationship, such as the United States of America (USA). The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of federal funds rate on BI rate; and BI rate implications on exchange rate, economic growth, and consumer price index. This type of research is quantitative. Collecting data using techniques of documentation provided by the Federal Reserve Data (FRED), Bank Indonesia (BI), and Bureau Central of Statistic (BPS). The analysis tool using Stationarity test, stability models test, determination of lag, and Structural Vector Autoregressive Models (svar). Based on the results of SVAR estimation can be concluded that Federal Fund Rate have a positive and significant effect on BI rate. By implication, BI rate have a positive and significant effect on exchange rate. However, BI rate has also positive but no significant effect on GDP. Abstract

The development of internet in Indonesia is quite fast and the majority of users are students. Internet growth made every fields include banking provided internet based service that called internet banking. The purpose of this research is to explore the factors that affect student’s intention to use internet banking by used the combination model of TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). Independent variables used in this research are Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Subjective Norm, and Experience. While the dependent variable is Student’s Intention to Use Internet Banking. The results show that perceived ease of use and experience are significantly influence students to use internet banking and  perceived usefulness and subjective norm are unsignificantly influence students to use internet banking. The usefulness of internet banking did not make the students feel interested to use internet banking, one of the reasons is usefulness of internet banking is limited to non-cash transaction  Keywords: Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Subjective Norm, Experience, TAM, internet banking

Abstract

Citizen journalism learning model is a learning model which directs a learner to analyze and make scientific article related to current economic phenomenon. This learning model is developed and conducted through Research and Development design (R&D). Before the research was conducted, validity examination was conducted. Validity examination result showed that this product is qualified to be implemented with revision. After that, effectiveness of leraning model was tested using experiment class. The experiment class was a student of offering D-D dan DD-DD Economic Development Department, Faculty of Economic, Universitas Negeri Malang. The result is seen from mastery learning of students in experiment class. The result is 69% and was higher than control class, while control class is 56%. The attractiveness of this model is 77,58% (good) and the material understanding is 77,59% (good).Model pembelajaran Citizen Journalism merupakan model pembelajaran yang mengarahkan peserta didik untuk menganalisis dan membuat sebuah artikel ilmiah terkait fenomena ekonomi yang sedang terjadi. Model Pembelajaran ini dikembangkan dan dilakukan penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Sebelum dilakukan penelitian, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji validitas. Halis uji validitas produk menghasilkan kualifikasi layak digunakan dengan revisi. Setelah itu dilakukan uji efektivitas model menggunakan eksperimen kelas dengan objek penelitian mahasiswa offering D-D dan DD-DD jurusan Ekonomi Pembangunan, Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Malang. Hasil uji efektivitas model dilihat pada hasil ketuntasan belajar kelas eksperimen yang lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yaitu sebanyak 69%, sedangkan kelas kontrol 56%. Daya tarik dari model ini mencapai tingkat keberhasilan 77.58% (baik) dan kemampuan memahami materi 77.69% (baik).

Abstract

This research aims to develop an economy based teaching materials Javanese cultural values. This research is the development of the development model DBR (Design-Based Research). This research method is used to produce a particular product, and test the efficacy of the resulting product. There are six phases in this study, namely (1) Identify the problem 2) Formulate product development and collaboration with practitioners, (3) design and development of teaching materials based economic value of Javanese culture, (4) The test prototypes of learning, (5) Evaluate the feasibility of the prototype of learning, (6) Completion of the prototype and communicate. The results of the questionnaire validation by expert content and media experts as well as the responses of teachers teaching materials to be eligible, and has been able to provide added insight and knowledge and self-actualization in students about the values of Javanese culture in the learning economy.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu bahan ajar ekonomi yang berbasis nilai budaya Jawa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan DBR (Design Based Research). Metode penelitian ini digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, dan menguji keefektifan produk yang dihasilkan. Terdapat 6 fase dalam penelitian ini, yaitu (1) indentifikasi masalah, (2) merumuskan produk pengembangan dan berkolaborasi dengan praktisi, (3) desain & pengembangan bahan ajar ekonomi berbasis nilai budaya Jawa, (4) uji coba prototipe pembelajaran, (5) evaluasi kelayakan prototipe pembelajaran, dan (6) penyempurnaan prototipe dan mengkomunikasikannya. Hasil penelitian dari angket validasi oleh pakar ahli materi dan ahli media serta tanggapan guru bahan ajar dinyatakan layak, dan telah telah mampu memberikan pengetahuan dan menambahkan wawasan serta aktualisasi pada diri siswa tentang nilai-nilai budaya Jawa dalam pembelajaran ekonomi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the suitability of the 21st-century learning methods, namely the flipped classroom method with the curriculum applied in Indonesia, the 2013 curriculum. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature review as a data technique. Data collection was carried out by reviewing the relevant literature as the primary object. This study using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. From the result of the literature study, it can be concluded that learning reverses the class according to the principles of learning in the 2013 curriculum. This can be seen from its application which is more student-centered. Besides, warning activities, asking questions, gathering information, associating and analyzing, and communicating can be implemented in flipped classroom learning based on the application of technology in it, so that students will have skills according to the 21st century.

Abstract

IMPROVING THE COMPETENCE OF MALANG’S ECONOMICS TEACHERS IN ITEM ANALYSIS. Comprehensive assessment used to measure learning outcomes is a very important component of lesson planning. In general, teachers often make mistakes in identifying the parameters used in measuring learning outcomes. In addition, the method of measuring learning outcomes with conventional methods through manual calculations can also affect the validity of learning evaluation results. This community service aims to provide training to teachers in Turen, Malang Regency on how to measure the evaluation of learning outcomes by using a more effective and efficient way, using statistical data processing software. The use of this statistical software will make it easy for teachers to be able to analyze the level of difficulty of the questions made, the effectiveness of presenting the answer choices, the analysis of the difference in each question and the analysis of the tricks. The result of this service activity is that the participants who are teachers are able to perform analysis quickly and accurately using statistical software. In addition, this training is also useful for teachers who are developing research instruments.

Abstract

The research aims at measuring the students’ financial literacy who received affirmation of Higher Education Scholarships which coming from remote areas. The measurement is important toward how financially literate the students are in making financial decisions and what the determinants of financial literacy. Further, the measurement will provide information on how to increase the financial literacy of the students given that, after completing their studies, they are expected to significantly improve the financial literacy in their hometown as policymakers and leaders. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the students have a low level of financial literacy. This problem can be addressed by reaching out to all the students in Indonesia, especially those in remote areas to help them understand the concept of financial literacy and enable to make a good decision as consumers and investors. Also, need to help the students understand the importance of financial literacy and convince that having this skill improve their welfare in the future. Moreover, lecturer should be aware of the different learning styles of individuals. For example, for students who come from remote areas, the topic should be delivered in a fun and easy way by using relatively simple language.

Abstract

Pesantren as the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia certainly has an important role in society. Today pesantren are required to be able to develop more without having to eliminate the characteristics of pesantren. One of them is by holding empowerment for pesantren independence and a place to practice entrepreneurship for students. This study aims to determine the model of pesantren-based economic empowerment at the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang City with the existence of business units in the fields of agriculture, fisheries and services. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. Techniques Data collection is done by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that all business units here are managed by students and accompanied by a team of experts in each business field. First, the preparation stage. Preparation for the formation of business units is carried out by analyzing the strength of PPBM and market competition. Second, the implementation phase of the business unit begins with recruiting members and providing education and marketing methods. Third, evaluation and monitoring. As an evaluation material, supervision is carried out by the Islamic boarding school. With the existence of this business unit, it is in order to equip students when they are in the community and later they can practice what they have got. Some of the obstacles faced were related to human resources, facilities and infrastructure as well as the increase in the price of production goods. The solution is to increase education to college level and increase sales prices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of macroeconomic variables on exchange rate stability in five developing countries in Southeast Asia that are members of the Association of Southeast Nations (ASEAN) geopolitical and economic organization to see the short-term and long-term relationships during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data used is secondary data, from International Financial Statistics (IFS) for the period January 2020 to June 2022 using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The results show that in the long run the variables that have a positive influence on exchange rate stability are lending rates, exports and the money supply. While the variables that have a negative influence are deposit rates, imports and the current account. In the short term, variables that have a positive influence on exchange rate stability are deposit rates, imports and the current account. However, the variable lending rates, exports and the money supply have a negative effect

Abstract

One of the determinants of a company's progress, both service and non-service, is the resources it has. The company or a business entity feels that the company's goals will not be achieved without quality resources. However, they often do not realize that companies only make employees or their resources tools/assets to achieve company goals, not as individuals who need recognition and appreciation. This study aimed to analyze How much influence the work environment and work stress have on employee performance at Arema Aremania Bersatu Berprestasi Indonesia Ltd. In this study, the independent variables are Work Stress (X1) and Work Environment (X2), while the dependent variable is Employee Performance (Y). This type of research is quantitative research analyzed using statistics. The number of samples obtained by using a saturated sample that makes the entire population of Arema Aremania Bersatu Berprestasi Indonesia Ltd. became a sample of 63 respondents. This Analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Work Stress and Work Environment influence Employee Performance.
