Abstract

AI training is very important for teaching staff in higher education to equip themselves with the knowledge and skills to utilize AI to improve the quality of learning, provide accurate feedback, and promote effective student engagement. This training aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of public health lecturers at Tadulako University in the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) and Canva. The training was conducted using lectures, practices, and discussions. The training participants were 16 lecturers at the Faculty of Public Health, Tadulako University. The training materials covered AI Bard, Gamma APP AI, CANVA, Chat GPT, and Jenni AI. After the training, all participants were able to create accounts on each of the applications and were able to practice them. Participants were also able to apply AI and Canva for teaching, research, and other needs. The training was able to improve the knowledge and skills of public health lecturers at Tadulako University in the utilization of AI and Canva. AI and Canva can be useful tools to support teaching, research, and other activities. Using AI wisely can improve the accuracy and usefulness of the information provided by AI in educational media. This can help both teachers and students learn more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji terkait strategi meningkatkan daya saing daerah dengan pendekatan Smart City di Kabupaten Maros disusun oleh Muhammad Nurjaya, Mustafa dan Bohari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan Metode pendekatan Yuridis Empiris dan Yuridis Normatif dilakukan dengan menelaah data primer sebagai penunjang dan untuk mengkonfirmasi data sekunder yang diperoleh dengan mengadakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD), public hearing, kunjungan kerja, dan konsultasi ke instansi terkait bersama para pemangku kepentingan terutama yang menyangkut dalam hal inplementasi Smart City di Kabupaten Maros. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemerintah daerah telah menerapkan strategi meningkatkan daya saiang daerah dengan pendekatan Smart City di Kabupaten Maros yaitu dengan tata kelola birokrasi yang efisien dan efektif (Smart Governance), permukiman penduduk yang layak dan terjangkau oleh semua kalangan (Smart Living), lingkungan masyarakat yang bersih dan sehat (Smart Society), pertumbuhan ekonomi melalui kebijakan dan pengeambangan ekonomi dengan pemberdayaan UMKM (Smart Economy), citra kota/daerah dengan berbagai kelebihan dari aspek pariwisata yang dimiliki oleh Kabupaten Maros (Smart Branding), dan pemeliharaan lingkungan berbasis masyarakat dengan semangat gotong royong (Smart Environment).

Abstract

Catfish is a cultivated fishery commodity that has quite large business opportunities to be developed to fulfill community nutrition. Feeding in catfish farming is very important and is one of the things that really needs to be considered. Feeding must be planned so that catfish can grow optimally. Unscheduled feeding results in increased cannibalism among catfish. The use of an automation system must be implemented in order to make it easier and more efficient in feeding catfish. The research method used in writing this scientific work is by using literature study. The purpose of this writing is to find out and implement an automation system for feeding catfish to make it easier and more efficient in feeding catfish. The results obtained from this automatic tool can make it easier for humans to operate, so that it no longer needs to be powered manually. Just automatically use the feeder. In conclusion, the implementation of an automatic system using IoT and Arduino Uno has been proven to be able to streamline catfish feeding times.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the effect of current strength variations on the Direct Current Negative Electrode (DCEN) polarity on the results of welding at butt joint joints. In this study, ASTM A36 steel was chosen as the main material, while the E6013 electrode was used as the welding electrode. The method used is an experimental approach with a qualitative approach, which allows researchers to gain a deeper understanding of the effect of current variables on welding results. The results of three experiments conducted at welding current of 60 A, 90 A, and 120 A provide a clear picture of the effect of these variables on the butt joint. In the first specimen with a current strength of 60 A, there was not enough penetration and many defects in the capping. Low current strength does not produce optimal welding results at the joint. However, in the second specimen with a current strength of 90 A, there was an initiation of penetration, although it was still incomplete. There are also fewer defects in the capping compared to the first specimen, and it shows an increase in welding results with an increase in current strength. In the third specimen with a current strength of 120 A, there is better penetration, but still not achieving complete penetration. In addition, the capping has many defects, including the suck back. It shows that using high current strength only sometimes produces optimal welding results and can present challenges, such as joint defects.

Abstract

The phenomenon in this study looks at the Performance of PT RACHITA. Without an effective Management Information System, the company may not be able to monitor and analyze performance accurately, so that it cannot improve company performance optimally. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the Management Information System in improving company performance. This type of experimental research uses a pre-test and post-test design, namely measuring company performance before and after the implementation of the Management Information System. The data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and tests. The data analysis method used is Descriptive Statistical Analysis, Wilcoxon Test, Homogeneity Test. The results of the study The Implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) has a positive impact on company performance. The results of the data analysis show that the implementation of MIS can improve company performance by providing accurate and timely information, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, and reducing employee workload. The results of the Wilcoxon test show that there is a significant difference between company performance before and after the implementation of MIS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pengelolaan Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Lingsar Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskrptif, teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dalam pengelolaan Dana Operasional Sekolah terdapat beberapa tahapan dan proses yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan,dan pengawasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pola pengelolaan dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) menggunakan pola alternatif lebih cenderung dipersepsi positif dalam upaya menerapkan prinsip transparan dan akuntabilitas, karena semua guru mempunyai kesempatan ikut terlibat dalam pengelolaan Dana BOS tersebut, pengelolaan dana bos sudah berjalan cukup baik karena adanya perencanaan dengan penyusunan RKAS yang melibatkan semua unsur baik Kepala Sekolah, Guru dan Komite Sekolah, kesesuaian aturan dan petunjuk teknis penggunaan dan pelaksanaan dana BOS dengan realisasinya, serta pelaksanaan pengawasan oleh kepala sekolah dan pelaporan pertanggung jawaban penggunaan Dana BOS kepada Sekolah, kota/kabupaten dan pemerintah pusat yang tepat waktu. Ini menunjukkan bahwa sekolah telah melaksanakan proses pengelolaan Dana BOS sesuai dengan aturan pemerintah atau petunjuk teknis dalam pengelolaanya.

Abstract

Kekurangan dan kelebihan gizi merupakan masalah gizi kronis dan akut yangmengancam anak usia sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kebiasaansarapan pagi, asupan zat gizi, dan status gizi anak usia sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian inimerupakan analitik observasional. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas 4 SDNInpres 3 Tondo yang berjumlah 40 murid. Teknik sampling adalah total sampling. Besarsampel yang berhasil dikumpulkan adalah 30 murid, dan 10 murid tidak hadir selamapenelitian. Variabel penelitian yaitu kebiasaan sarapan pagi, asupan energi dan zat gizi,dan status gizi. Intrumen penelitian adalah form food recall 24 jam, food model,microtoise. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi Nutrisurvey, WHO Antro Plus, danSPSS. Hasil penelitian yaitu asupan gizi yang kurang dari AKG yaitu energi (80,0%),karbohidrat (76,6%), lemak (70,0%), dan protein (63,3%). Kebiasaan sarapan pagisebesar 86,2%. Status gizi (IMT/Umur) kurus (13,3%), gizi lebih (20,0%) dan normal(66,7%). Kesimpulan yaitu murid telah memiliki kebiasaan sarapan pagi namun kualitasasupan gizinya masih kurang dari AKG dan murid memiliki masalah kekurangan dankelebihan gizi.

Abstract

Background & Objective: School-aged children are a group of children who are vulnerable to unbalancednutritional intake so that the risk of high rates of growth failure in children. To analyze the correlation ofprotein, essential amino acids, folic acid and iron intake with z-score height according to age andhemoglobin level. Material and Method: A quantitative research using cross-sectional research design. Thepopulation is all elementary school students class I - V at SDN Poboya is 220 students. The sample sizeobtained by Slovin formula calculation is 69 students. Data of protein, amino acids, folic acid and iron intakewere measured using SQ-FFQ questionnaire. Stunting is measured using a height measuring instrument andWHO Anthro application, hemoglobin levels using the GCHb EasyTouch tool. Analysis data of univariateand bivariate. Results: Average protein intake (66.3 ± 1.6 g), amino acid (isoleu-cine = 3.1 ± 0.7; leucine =5.3 ± 1.3; lysine = 4.4 ± 1.2; methio-nine = 1.5 ± 0.4), iron (7.7 ± 2.1), and folic acid (150.6 ± 45.4). Theincidence of stunting is 15.9% and anemia is 33.3%. Intake of proteins, amino acids, iron, and folic acid hadno significant correlation with the value of Z-Score Height According to Age (p> 0.05) whereas withhemoglobin levels have a significant correlation (p < 0,05). Conclusion: Intake of nutrients that are still lessthan the AKG in children are amino acids, folic acid and iron. The intake of nutrients that correlatedpositively with hemoglobin levels were proteins, amino acids, folic acid, and iron.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a significant global health challenge, necessitating the exploration of novel therapeutics from natural sources for its treatment. This study aimed to identify the bioactive compounds in a combinatorial methanolic extract of corn silk (Zea mays L.) and jasmine flowers (Jasminum sambac) and predict their antidiabetic potential. The extract was analyzed using Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). The identified compounds were evaluated in silico via molecular docking simulations against key antidiabetic protein targets: Glucagon-Like Peptide 1 (GLP-1), Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1), Glucose Transporter 4 (GLUT4), alpha-glucosidase, and superoxide dismutase (SOD). The analysis focused on the binding energy (ΔG). A total of 44 metabolites were identified in this study. Molecular docking results indicated that rothindin exhibited the highest binding affinity for GLUT4, with a binding energy of -9.9 kcal/mol. Rothindin and Chlorogenic Acid also showed significant potential as modulators of GLUT4 and α-glucosidase, respectively. In conclusion, the combined extract contains bioactive compounds, particularly roxindin and chlorogenic acid, which demonstrate significant in silico potential as antidiabetic agents.
