Abstract

The Influence of Brand Image on Durian Sibolang Purchasing Decisions Consumer purchasing decisions in buying Durian Sibolang products are influenced by three factors of brand image, namely company image, user image and product image. These factors influence each other in the purchasing decision process leading to purchase decisions.This study aims to determine the brand image of Durian Sibolang products, to analyze the characteristics of respondents on purchasing decisions and to analyze the effect of brand image on purchasing decisions. Respondents in this study were all Durian Sibolang consumers who had previously bought Durian Sibolang. This study uses accidental sampling method with a sample size of 50 respondents.The method used is descriptive analysis and SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) using Smart PLS software. The results show that consumers of Durian in Sibolang were dominated by women aged <25 years whose highest education level is high school (currently studying or working), and have an income of > 3,000,000. The results of this study also show the effect of brand image on consumer purchasing decisions. It can be concluded that company image does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, but two other brand image factors, namely user image and product image, have a significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Farming Income Analysis of Chrysanthemum Cut Flowers at Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng RegencyCut flowers are one of the agricultural commodities that can help improve the income and welfare of farmers. One of the cut flowers having high economic value is chrysanthemum. The aim of this study was to determine the total cost spent by the farmers of chrysanthemum cut flowers, total incomes of chrysanthemum cut flower farming and the farmers' net income of chrysanthemum cut flower farming. This study used 30 respondents through simple random sampling. The data analysis method used was quantitative analysis method that would be obtained by using the formula of farming net income.The results showed the average costs spent by farmers of chrysanthemum cut flowers amounted to Rp. 5,941,823.71, detailed from variable and fixed costs. Acceptance in one harvest season was Rp. 15.526.500,00-, detailed from chrysanthemum cut flower crops with an average greenhouse area of 355 m2, so in one harvest season the net income earned was Rp. 9,584,676.29. The suggestion recommended in this research is that the chrysanthemum cut flower growers in the village of Pancasari should retain chrysanthemum cut flower farming because it is very profitable looked at from the high market demand the production will definitely be sold so that farmers do not have to worry about the farming and there is a need for further research on the constraints faced by the farmers of chrysanthemum cut flowers on his farm and the opportunity cost arising due to choose a farm of several alternative farming opportunities available.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Financial Analysis and Added Value Manufacturing of Arabica Coffee at Farm Cooperative of Manik Sedana Bangli Regency The study aims to analyze added value and feasibility study of Arabica Coffee manufacturing at Farm Cooperative of Manik Sedana. Survey method was used to gather primary data from five persons of management board of the company. Secondary data related to this study were collected from appropiate sources. The added value for one production cycle was accounted by using Hayami et al method and feasibility study implemented discounted criteria (NPV, IRR, Net B/C and sensitivity analyze) during the 10 years as economic life of project on rate 6% . The process from fresh to HS coffee and from fresh to powder coffee yielded additional value of IDR 1,875.05 and IDR 6,642.34 per kilogam fresh coffee. Based on investment criteria, the processing of Arabica Coffee was financially feasible indicated by NPV = IDR 667,757,620; IRR = 28.70%; Net B/C = 2.00 . The Bussiness will be financially infeasible if both HS and powder coffee prices decreased. Key Words: value added, feasibility, manufacturing of arabica coffee

Abstract

Income Analysis of Klutuk Bananas at Puhu Village Payangan District Gianyar Regency This study aims to determine costs used, revenue and income of klutuk banana farming. The location of the research was determined purposively at Puhu Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. The population in this study was klutuk banana farmers at Puhu Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. Samples in this study were 55 respondents of farmers determined by using Slovin method. This research uses descriptive quantitative and qualitative to calculate income of klutuk banana cultivation at Puhu Village. The results of this study show that average farm income received by farmers was Rp 3,503,207 in the first year and in the second year at amount Rp 4,401,317. Technical obstacles experienced by farmers on klutuk banana farming at Puhu Village were the existence of green grasshopper and strong wind. Hindrance from the economic point of view was price fluctuations between wet and dry seasons.

Abstract

The Economic Benefits of Organic Certification on Cashew Farming in the Dukuh Village, Kubu Sub-District of Karangasem Regency Demand for organic cashew nuts in the international market is very high. The existence of organic certificate gives positive impact for cashew farmers, especially in increasing the selling price. Subak Abian Buana Kusuma is one of subak abian in Karangasem regency which conducts certified organic farming from certification institution of International Institute for Marketecology (IMO) Switzerland. Organic cashew certification is done by international certification agency IMO (Institute for Marketecology) Switzerland with the support of PT. PMA (Profil Mitra Abadi) and Dinas Kehutanan dan Perkebunan Kabupaten Karangasem to Subak Abian Buana Kusuma which is technically certified by ICS (Internal Control System). Revenue per hectare of certified organic farmers is Rp. 28,111,004,74 and non-organic farmers is Rp. 12,560,166.20, with a percentage of 119% greater income per hectare of organic farmers while the income per kg of organic farmers is Rp. 21,238.16 and non-organic farmers is Rp. 11,721.14 / kg with a percentage of 81% larger per kilogram of organic farmers. Premium price received by farmers is Rp.9000,00 with the cost of certification per kg is Rp. 163.00. Organic premium received by farmers is Rp. 9,517,02 / kg. The RC ratio of Subak Abian Buana Kusuma and Pandan Sari were 4.69 and 2.87 respectively, and the Profit Rate was 369% and 187%, compared to 5% for 5% said to be very worthy to be cultivated. The value of t arithmetic> t table (2.34> 2.05), means that the income per hectare of organic cashew farms is greater than non-organic cashew nut production.

Abstract

PotentialAnalysis of Subak-Based Agro-turism Development in Baha Village,DistrictMengwi, Badung Regency Baha Village is one of the tourism village which is on developed in Badung Regency. The development of Baha Tourism Village is not developing well, as proven from thesmall number of the visitors. The problem is caused due to the lack of highlight ofBahas’ tourism products. Baha is need to develop it’s deversification on agrotourismtherefore the study is needed. This study aimed (i) to find out the farmers’ perseptionabout agrotourism in subak area of Baha Village, (ii) to find out the requirements forfulfilled agro-tourism development in the subak area of Baha Village, and also (iii) tofind out the potential for agro-tourism development in the subak area of Baha Village.Methods of data collection are interviews, questionnaires, and focus group discussions.The obtained data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The results ofthis study showed that farmers' perceptions on developing the potential of agro-tourismin the subak area of Baha Village were categorizing sufficient which achieve of 66.51%and the subak area in Baha Village which had not large potential to be developed asagrotourism due to the condition of the subak area of Baha Village. Its only supportedby accessibility and infrastructure without any objects and attractive attractions andunique agrotouristic product as the main attraction. Some suggestions that researcher suggest are; (i) it is necessary from other parties in developing agrotourism in BahaVillage including government institutions, academic institutions, and the private sector,(ii) further research is needed in developing agro-tourism in Baha Village such asresearch that examines agro-tourism development strategies.

Abstract

The Demand for Banana Leaves by the Jinggo Rice Producers in Denpasar City This study aims to determine the number of banana leaves demand by the jinggo riceproducers in a period of one week, the factors that affect the demand of banana leaves,and to investigate the substitute of banana leaves used by sellers as a jinggo ricewrapper. The research location was in Denpasar City determined by purposivesampling. The population in this research was all of the jinggo rice sellers in DenpasarCity. The sampling technique used snowball sampling method. This research usedtabulation to find out the demand of banana leaves discussed descriptively andqualitatively and by using regression equation which is transformed to analyze theinfluencing factors. The results of this study indicate that the total number of bananaleaves demand by 40 respondents of jinggo rice sellers in Denpasar, within one week isequal to 7,822 folds or as many as 23,466 banana leaf bark. Factors affecting thedemand of banana leaves from the jinggo rice sellers in Denpasar City were the price ofbanana leaves and the amount of production, and there is no substitute for banana leavesused by the 40 jinggo rice sellers in Denpasar City.

Abstract

Analysis of Preference and Satisfaction of Non-Cash Food Aid Recipients (BPNT)Against Rice in Denpasar City.Income differences are one indicator of differences in social classes. The role ofgovernment is very influential in the lower middle class. The government assistanceprogram in the form of Rastra, is channeled in non-cash by transforming from assistanceto subsidy patterns to social assistance (food). The purpose of this study to determinethe characteristics, preferences and customer satisfaction of rice recipients of Non-CashFood Aid (BPNT) was assessed from the level of importance and level of performanceof the attributes of rice provided by rice suppliers in Denpasar City. Data collectionmethod with survey technique and indepth interview. Data analysis used is descriptiveanalysis, Customer Satisfaction Index and Importance Performance Analysis. Based onthis study the characteristics of the dominating respondents, namely the owner of anelectronic account are women as the couple's head of the family. The high and loweducation does not affect the income they have. Most respondents are from the lowerclass who are registered as KPM and are entitled to rice assistance from the BPNTprogram. Rice endurance is the highest value attribute that is an assessment of consumerpreferences. The satisfaction index of rice BPNT recipients with a total of 80.46% is inthe range of 81% - 100% in the category of very satisfied with some improvementsfrom the results of the IPA method. The results of the Cartesius diagram attribute of riceresistance are the main priority to be improved because it is in quadrant I.

Abstract

Implementation of Social and Environmental Responsibility in PT Bali Pawiwahan (Coco Group) Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility is a company or business world commitment to contribute to sustainable economic development which is strictly regulated in Indonesia through Law No. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Company, article 74 paragraph (1). The purpose of this study is to determine the proportion and the distribution of CSR funds at PT Bali Pawiwahan and also to identify to what extent the CSR implementation has fulfilled the CSR implementation regulations. This research was conducted at PT Bali Pawiwahan uses quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive data which were obtained from primary data and secondary data, the author conducted the key informant method. The methods of analysis used are quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive methods. The proportion of funds budgeted by the PT Bali Pawiwahan is 0.1% per year. The CSR program carried out by PT Bali Pawiwahan has fulfilled the regulations related to the implementation of social and environmental responsibility based on Law No.40, Article 74 of 2007 regarding Limited Liability Company. It is recommended that CSR activities are grouped into social, economic, and environmental categories, as well as the total budget spent in each of the main areas of CSR activities so that CSR report is more detailed and easier to understand.

Abstract

Prospect of Cocoa Farming Development in Pangsan Village, Petang Sub-District of Badung Regency Cocoa plays an important role for the national economy, especially openingemployment opportunities, sources of income, and foreign exchange. The objectivesof this research are: to investigate the suitability of land for cocoa farming inPangsan Village, financial feasibility of cocoa farming in Pangsan Village, seen frominvestment criteria, and market prospect of cocoa commodity of Pangsan Villageproduction. The analysis used in this research is investment criteria method includingNPV, IRR, and Net B/C for financial feasibility analysis, while land suitability andmarket prospect are analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The findings of thestudy showed that : land in Pangsan Village is appropriate (S2) for cocoa farmingand it has low productivity compared to cocoa productivity in Bali and Indonesia,cocoa farming in Pangsan village which is intercropped with coconut and bananatrees is financially feasible to be cultivated, with NPV of Rp 29.454.914,86, IRR of38%, and Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C) of 7,68, and the market prospect of cocoaproducts in Pangsan Village is not prospective for foodstuff, because the product ofcocoa produced is not fermented and not certified.
