Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini ingin menghasilkan media pembelajaran macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang mencapai kriteria valid, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model rancangan 4-D oleh Thiagarajan, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Desseminate. Tetapi pada penelitian ini hanya pada tahap pengembangan saja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Sukadana sebanyak 20 siswa, ahli dan guru. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket dan soal posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil validasi macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing memiliki kriteria sangat valid. Tingkat kepraktisan terhadap macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing memiliki kriteria sangat praktis, tingkat keefektifan terhadap macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing tergolong kriteria sangat efektif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan karena memenuhi kriteria kevalidan yang sangat valid, kepraktisan yang sangat praktis, dan keefektifan yang efektif. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to produce Macromedia flash learning media containing problem posing to mathematical problem-solving abilities that reach valid criteria, practicality, and effectiveness. This research method is a research development with a 4-D design model by Thiagarajan: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. But this research is only at the development stage. The subjects in this study were 20th-grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Sukadana, experts, and teachers. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, and posttest questions. Based on the research results obtained by the results of validation Macromedia flash loaded posing problem has very valid criteria. The level of practicality with problem-posing Macromedia flash has very practical criteria, the level of effectiveness with problem-posing Macromedia flash is classified as very effective criteria. Thus it can be concluded that Macromedia flash with posing problem developed can be used.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to study: 1) how prospective mathematics teachers plan character education in learning; 2) how prospective mathematics teachers carry out character education in learning; 3) how prospective mathematics teachers assess character education in learning. The research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects are IKIP PGRI Pontianak teachers, especially those in Mathematics Education study program. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that. 1) Prospective mathematics teachers plan well the character education, internalize it in the KKNI curriculum and design it according to the indicators set in the SNP-PT guidelines. 2) Prospective mathematics teachers carry out well the character education. 3) Prospective mathematics teachers assess very well the character education as an improvement in character in the study program environment

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research are to know of the effectiveness of heuristic learning strategy approach category, creativity, and its interaction to studentss mathematics problem solving ability on material series and sequence. This research is quasi experimental research with factorial design 2 x 3. The population is the studentss of class XII Madrasah Aliyah at Pontianak City the schools odd semester academic year of 2011/2012. The sampling was taken by using stratified cluster random. Sample of the research is 186 studentss. Data collecting is done through school document, problem solving essay test ability and creativity questionnaire. Instrument analysis that was done on essays problem solving ability is content validity, consist of analysis degree of differences, index of difficulty and reliability. Analysis on creativity questionnaire is content validity, internal consistency, and reliability. Data analysis technique used consisting of: Balance test, precondition analysis (Normality and Homogeneity). Hypothesis analysis test used was two way analysis of variance with unequal cell. Using α = 0.05 it can be concluded that: 1) Students who had been taught by using metacognitive learning approach result the better mathematics problem solving ability compared to students who had been taught by using investigation learning approach. 2) Students who have high creativity has better problem solving ability than students that have medium and low creativity, and students that have medium creativity have better problem solving ability than students who have low creativity. 3) Students who were taught by using metacognitive and also investigation learning approach, who have high creativity have better problem solving ability than students with medium and low creativity, and students who have medium creativity have better problem solving ability than students who have low creativity. 4) On high creativity level category, students who were taught by metacognitive learning approach have better mathematics problem solving ability than studentss who were taught by using investigation learning approach. Meanwhile on medium and low creativity, students who were taught by using metacognitive learning approach have the same mathematics problem solving ability with studentss who were taught by using investigation approach.Key words: Heuristic strategy, Metacognitive, Investigation, Creativity and Problem  Solving.

Abstract

This research aimed to know: (1) Validity; and (2) Practicality of the mathematics learning module with the inquiry method on the ability to think critically in the material of squares and triangles. This research used research and development with the model used the ADDIE. The subject of this research was student class VII in SMP Cahaya Harapan Tayan. The tools of data collection were the validation sheet of material experts, media experts, student responses questionnaires, and teacher responses questionnaires. Data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative. The result of this research showed that the average score of material validity was 84,6% and media validity was 85,3% with very decent category, and the practicality was 83% with very decent category. It can be concluded that the mathematics learning module with the inquiry method developed was feasible to be used to improve critical thinking skills in the material of squares and triangles in students of class VII SMP. Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Kevalidan; dan (2) Kepraktisan modul pembelajaran matematika dengan metode inkuiri terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam materi Segi empat dan Segitiga. Metode penelitian menggunakan research and development dengan model ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Develoment-Implementation-Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas subjek pengembangan yaitu tiga validator yang merupakan 2 orang dosen program studi pendidikan matematika dan seorang validator lain merupakan guru SMP Cahaya Harapan Tayan dan subjek ujicoba produk yaitu kelas VII SMP Cahaya Harapan Tayan.. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli media, angket respon siswa, dan angket respon guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh skor rata-rata kevalidan materi dan media sebesar 84,6% dan 85,3% dengan kategori sangat valid , serta kepraktisan 83% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran matematika dengan metode inkuiri yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam materi Segi empat dan Segitiga pada siswa kelas VII SMP. Kata Kunci: Modul, Inkuiri, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis

Abstract

This study aimed mainly at producing Subject Specific Pedagogic (SSP) Statistics based on Character-filled Heuristic Strategies to Improve Students' Qualified Problem-Solving Ability built on the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study at this time was in synergy with the previous research as a new frame of mind that became the concept of development in achieving the main objectives. The present study employed a quantitative descriptive method with logical, analytical, and descriptive reasonings supported with relevant literature data. The instruments used were a test of problem-solving abilities and a questionnaire that was then analyzed descriptively and inferentially with two-way ANOVA formula. The study concluded that the heuristic strategy through the stages of identification, plan, do and check is an alternative solution to learning mathematics with high strengths and potentials in integrating characters into learning scenarios to be able to improve students' problem-solving skills and develop their character containing Subject-Specific Pedagogic.

Abstract

The mathematics that has been taught from primary school to high school with a lot more time studying math in the classroom can be a passage to build students’ character. Students’ character building is not easy; therefore, it requires a planned, continuous, and systematic effort in learning mathematics. Lesson plans involving students’ character building must be purposefully designed (by design). It cannot be accidentally happened (by chance). The use of innovative learning models in learning mathematics needs to be analyzed to be able to build students’ character. This study aims to describe the relationship between learning models, mathematical material, and student character that is built through mathematics in junior high schools. This study employed a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through documentation, interview, and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques followed three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the analysis offered an overview of students’ character that can be formed by applying innovative learning models in learning mathematics. Furthermore, the results of the analysis will be used in developing the steps (syntax) in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the achievement of MSS Basic Education, with a case study in the border area Entikong District of the district, followed by alternatives for achieving the standards in 2017 and prepare a strategy for its achievement. The method used in the study is the evaluation of research with the evaluation model inaccuracies or gaps (The Discrepancy Evaluation Model). This research subject is the Education Unit at the District Cabdikpora environment Entikong Sanggau consisting of principals and teachers, and Head Cabdikpora. The data used are primary and secondary data. The findings of these studies it is known that the availability of educational unit within an affordable than permanent settlement group; the number of students in each group learning for SD/MI does not exceed 32 people, while SMP/MTs exceeding 36, not available 1 (one) classrooms and there are not furnished with a table and chairs; each SMP/MTs provided a laboratory space science; Each Primary School/not available 1 (one) class teachers for each study group and for SMP/MTs unavailable teacher of Religious Education, Indonesian, Social Sciences, Arts, PE, and ICT; each SD/MI and SMP/MTs provided two (2) teachers who meet the academic qualifications S1 as much as 70%, but does not have a teaching certificate for the SD/MI; Chief of SD/MI has not qualified academic S-1 or D-IV and have a teaching certificate, already for SMP/MTs; curriculum development and innovative learning process is not implemented effectively; 50% SD/MI which has 100 titles enrichment and 10 reference books and each SMP/MTs 200 items of enrichment books and 20 reference books; 58.33% of permanent teachers work 35 hours per week in the education unit; 66.66% educational unit organized a learning process for 34 weeks per year; 66.66% The principal supervising lessons and provide feedback to teachers twice each semester.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) berorientasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D (four-D). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Teluk Keramat dengan jumlah 14 siswa. Validitas produk diperoleh melalui uji oleh validator, kepraktisan diperoleh melalui angket respon guru dan angket respon siswa terhadap Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) sedangkan keefektifan diperoleh melalui hasil belajar siswa terhadap Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kevalidan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) sebesar 82,74% dengan kriteria sangat valid, skor rata-rata kepraktisan dari hasil angket respon guru dan siswa sebesar 84,23% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, sedangkan nilai rata-rata keefektifan sebesar 71,43% dengan kriteria efektif.Kata Kunci: kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar kerja siswa (LKS), Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru dalam memilih dan menggunakan metode pembelajaran matematika secara online yang inovatif dan menyenangkan sehingga memudahkan siswa dalam belajar matematika. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya Kalimantan Barat dengan peserta berjumlah 22 orang dan pelaksana PKM adalah dosen prodi Pendidikan matematika IKIP PGRI Pontianak yang berjumlah 5 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan dengan mengadopsi langkah-langkah action research yaitu: perencanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi, dan refleksi. Hasil PKM dapat disimpulkan yaitu meningkatnya pengembangan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran secara online, sehingga memudahkan dan menyenangkan siswa dalam belajar yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan game edukasi berbantuan RPG maker Mv materi bangun datar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kayan Hilir berdasarkan tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model rancangan pengembangan ADDIE, yang terdiri atas lima tahapan pokok, yaitu analisys (analisis), Design (perancangan), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (penerapan), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kayan Hilir sebanyak 16 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket, dan soal posttest kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Kevalidan game edukasi mencapai kriteria sangat valid dengan kevalidan materi mencapai 88,06% dan kevalidan media mencapai 88,57%. Kepraktisan game edukasi berbasis android mencapai kriteria sangat praktis melalui angket respon guru yang mecapai 91,43% dan angket respon siswa mencapai 93,06%, dan keefektifan diperoleh sebesar 71,43% dengan kriteria efektif. Dengan demikian game edukasi berbantuan RPG maker Mv materi bangun datar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kayan Hilir tergolong valid, sangat praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan.
