Abstract

This study aims to explore mathematical objects in the Balale’ tradition of the Dayak Salako tribe in Nyarumkop Village and then integrate them into the Creation of Culture-Based Modules. The research method used is the ethnographic method, and the type of research used is qualitative. The Balale’ tradition is one of the habits of the Nyarumkop farmers when working the rice fields collectively and in rotation. The Balale’ tradition aims to strengthen relations between communities, because the community works together in the fields to complete tasks such as clearing land, planting rice, clearing grass, and harvesting rice. The results of the study show that the Balale’ tradition has a direct mathematical object in the form of facts that lie in the people who join the lale’an members, the concept lies in the process of working the rice fields which are carried out in turns, the principle lies in the mindset of the community in carrying it out and the skills lies in the work technique of each member of Lale’an. This research also contains indirect mathematical objects in the form of discipline shown by Lale’an members in carrying out this tradition. Then it is mathematically integrated into the creation of a culturebased SPLDV Module using mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam pembuatan instrumen literasi numerasi; (2) guru dapat membuat instrumen penilaian sendiri yang sesuai dengan indikator kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan melalui pelaksanaan tahapan penelitian tindakan yaitu:  penyusunan rencana, pelaksanaan kegiatan disertai observasi kemudian merefleksi, hanya saja konsep siklus tak digunakan dalam pelaksanaannya. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai penyusunan instrumen literasi numerasi diperoleh bahwa ketepatan jawaban sebelum dan sesudah mendapatkan pelatihan mencapai rata-rata 39,96 untuk pretest dan 42,19 untuk posttest. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa PKM memiliki efek dan kontribusi yang positif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan guru ketika mereka membuat alat literasi numerasi. Dari hasil tersebut, disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) sesama guru secara aktif berbicara tentang cara meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, terutama melalui penilaian kompetensi umum, survei karakter, dan survei lingkungan belajar; sebagai dasar penyusunan instrumen literasi numerasi; (2) guru mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang penyusunan instrumen literasi numerasi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Case Method-based Teaching Module to improve problem-solving skills in the subject of Relations and Functions of junior high school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4-D development model. The subjects of the study were eighth-grade students in one of the junior high schools. Data were collected through problem-solving ability tests, validation sheets, and student and teacher response questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results of the study indicate that the Case Method-based Teaching Module developed meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Based on the description of the research results that have been described, a learning tool in the form of a Case Method-based Teaching Module was obtained to improve students' problem-solving skills using a 4-D development model with the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. Thus, the Case Method-based Teaching Module on the subject of Relations and Functions can be an effective alternative to improve students' problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ingin menghasilkan media pembelajaran macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang mencapai kriteria valid, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model rancangan 4-D oleh Thiagarajan, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Desseminate. Tetapi pada penelitian ini hanya pada tahap pengembangan saja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Sukadana sebanyak 20 siswa, ahli dan guru. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket dan soal posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil validasi macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing memiliki kriteria sangat valid. Tingkat kepraktisan terhadap macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing memiliki kriteria sangat praktis, tingkat keefektifan terhadap macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing tergolong kriteria sangat efektif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan karena memenuhi kriteria kevalidan yang sangat valid, kepraktisan yang sangat praktis, dan keefektifan yang efektif. The purpose of this study is to produce Macromedia flash learning media containing problem posing to mathematical problem-solving abilities that reach valid criteria, practicality, and effectiveness. This research method is a research development with a 4-D design model by Thiagarajan: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. But this research is only at the development stage. The subjects in this study were 20th-grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Sukadana, experts, and teachers. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, and posttest questions. Based on the research results obtained by the results of validation Macromedia flash loaded posing problem has very valid criteria. The level of practicality with problem-posing Macromedia flash has very practical criteria, the level of effectiveness with problem-posing Macromedia flash is classified as very effective criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that Macromedia flash with posing problem developed can be used.

Abstract

Identifikasi patahan merupakan salah satu langkah awal dalam interpretasi seismic dan menjadi komponen penting dalam pengembangan strategi eksplorasi. Deteksi patahan dilakukan dengan metode analisis multi-atribut. Metode ini diterapkan pada data Lapangan Penobscot Kanada. Atribut seismik yang digunakan sebagai data masukan terdiri dari similarity, spectral decomposition, curvature, dip dan semblance. Pickset yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari pickset pada patahan besar dan patahan kecil dengan jumlah pick 400. Data latih yang digunakan pada pelatihan JST adalah penampang seismik pada crossline 1271. Penampang seismik yang digunakan sebagai data uji adalah crossline 1305. Hasil penelitian menunjukan efektifitas yang paling tinggi untuk deteksi patahan dihasilkan pada pelatihan JST dengan kombinasi atribut similarity, spectral decomposition dan semblance. Pelatihan JST pada patahan besar secara visual menghasilkan kualitas deteksi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan patahan kecil. Penerapan fault enhancement filter (FEF) menghasilkan penampang seismik yang lebih tajam sehingga mempermudah proses picking dan menghasilkan pelatihan JST yang lebih baik dengan nilai error lebih kecil. Pickset yang sudah dilatih pada crossline 1271 dapat diterapkan pada data uji dengan probabilitas patahan yang makin jelas dan tajam dengan nilai misclassification error 6,98%. Kata kunci: deteksi patahan, jaringan syaraf tiruan, analisis atribut

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of producing an Android-based educational game for Computational Thinking abilities in ICT material for class VIII students at SMPN 2 Pontianak. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method by applying the ADDIE research model which is in accordance with the Research and Development research stages. In this research there are two research subjects, namely product development subjects and product trial subjects. Data collection techniques in this development research are interviews, documentation and indirect communication. Meanwhile, the data collection tools used were interview guides, documentation, and validation sheets in the form of respondent questionnaires and expert validation. The findings from research on the development of Android-based educational games on computational thinking abilities in ICT materials in class VIII students at SMPN 2 Pontianak are a learning medium in the form of an Android digital (technology-based) game with the name EDUTIK game which is used as a learning medium in schools. The results of this research produced educational games with a validity level of 91.4% (Very Valid), Practical 94.3% (Very Practical), and an effectiveness level of 90.2% (Very Effective). In the sense that the educational game that has been developed can be said to be suitable for use as a digital learning medium and can improve the computational thinking abilities of class VIII students at SMPN 2 Pontianak.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of differentiated-based teaching modules in the material of curved side space (phase D). This study uses the ADDIE development model with the following procedures: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya Regency. Data collection techniques used in this study were indirect communication techniques, measurement techniques, direct communication techniques, documentation, and observation. While the data collection tools used were expert validation sheets, response questionnaires, and problem-solving ability test sheets. The data analysis technique used was to find the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the teaching module. The level of validity with a very valid category with media validity of 86.59% and material 83.44%. The level of practicality with very practical criteria is indicated by the student response questionnaire reaching a value of 96.05% and the teacher response questionnaire 92%. The level of effectiveness with effective criteria based on the completion value determined by the school. The test results showed an effectiveness index of 0.6389 with the criteria of "moderate" and an effectiveness percentage of 63.89% with the criteria of "quite effective"

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Problem Solving bermuatan etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang dilihat dari tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan penegmbangan atau Research and Development dengan rancangan penelitian Borg and Gall. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 5 Tanah Pinoh, Melawi, Kalimantan Barat dengan subjek penelitian 16 siswa kelas VIII. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi media dan materi, angket respon guru dan siswa, serta lembar posttest kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan tingkat kevalidan dengan kategori sangat valid dengan kevalidan media mencapai 86% dan kevalidan materi mencapai 84%, tingkat kepraktisan dengan kriteria sangat praktis ditunjukan dengan angket respon siswa yang mencapai nilai 95 % dan angket respon yang diberikan guru mencapai nilai 96%, tingkat keefektifan dengan kriteria efektif berdasarkan nilai ketuntasan yang ditentukan sekolah. Hasil tes menunjukan rata-rata siswa mendapatkan nilai 82,5.Â
