Abstract

This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based employee attendance and position tracking system using the ESP-NOW protocol integrated with a web database. This system is designed to automatically record attendance and monitor the position of employees in real-time using the Trilateration method with the Exponential Path Loss model. Data from the ESP32 device is sent to the MySQL database via the MQTT protocol and displayed in an easily accessible website interface. The results show that the system can efficiently recap daily, weekly, and monthly attendance data, as well as display the position history of employees and guests with sufficient accuracy. With the implementation of this system, the efficiency and accuracy of attendance management and employee monitoring at Sutami Hydroelectric Power Plant has increased significantly.

Abstract

This research describes a simple modeling technique for Maximum Power Point Tracking based on Artificial Neural Network (MPPT-based ANN) for photovoltaic (PV) systems. The proposed ANN model utilizes a feed-forward backpropagation architecture. The PV system was developed and tested in a simulation environment under uniform irradiation levels of 1000 W/m², 800 W/m², and 600 W/m², and rapidly varying irradiation changes. The simulation results demonstrate that the MPPT-based ANN accurately tracks the MPP, achieving stable power outputs of 98.36 W, 79 W, and 57.45 W, respectively. Although the system experiences initial transient oscillations during the tracking phase, it stabilizes within 80 milliseconds, showcasing rapid convergence and high steady-state accuracy. Under dynamic conditions, the MPPT-based ANN adapts effectively to fast-changing irradiation, restarting the algorithm to track and maintain the system at the updated MPP accurately. These results highlight the reliability, adaptability, and suitability of the MPPT-based ANN for real-time applications in dynamic environments. Nonetheless, further improvements to the ANN model are suggested to minimize transient oscillations and enhance overall performance.

Abstract

The electric car is a solution designed as a zero-emission vehicle which is an alternative to reducing air pollution. There are various types of electric cars, this research focuses more on Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). HEV is a vehicle that has at least two different energy sources. The most common combination today is the Internal Combution Engine (ICE) and an electric battery. HEV uses ICE with a smaller capacity than conventional vehicles, this results in more efficient fuel use. In HEV, there are several problems, including the response from ICE which is less than optimal when there is an increase in speed. ICE as the prime mover has a smaller capacity than conventional vehicles because it is assisted by the performance of the DC motor. When ICE is unable to maintain speed, the DC motor will help provide power. Therefore, it is necessary to regulate traction on a DC motor to help ICE achieve the desired speed, especially when there is an increase in speed. This study uses a neuro-fuzzy control method which has the advantage of being able to adapt to changes in parameters in the system. HEV itself requires a fast response, therefore, a predictive controller is used in order to predict the future torque value

Abstract

Ekstraksi fitur pada kupu-kupu menggunakan HSV dan lacunarity. Fungsi dari ekstraksi fitur digunakan untuk membedaakan fitur dataset kupu-kupu. Pada penelitian ini, 84 dataset digunakan dengan 5 macam spesies. Tahap pertama penelitian ini yaitu extraksi fitur menggunakan HSV, fungsi dari ekstraksi HSV digunakan untuk ekstraksi warna pada kupu-kupu, step kedua extraksi fitur menggunakan lacunarity, lacunarity digunakan untuk ekstraksi tekstur pada kupu-kupu. Tahap terakhir yaitu klasifikasi menggunakan MLP, fungsi metode MLP digunakan untuk klasifikasi spesies daru kupu-kupu. Hasil dari metode ini menghasilkan 62,55%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model klasifikasi tingkat kematangan biji kopi menggunakan neural network dengan algoritma backpropagation. Tingkat kematangan biji kopi dibagi ke dalam tiga kategori, yaitu light roast, medium roast, dan dark roast, dengan parameter input berupa suhu maksimum dan durasi proses penyangraian. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari eksperimen yang dilakukan dengan mesin sangrai otomatis. Model ini dioptimalkan menggunakan algoritma Adam dan dievaluasi menggunakan fungsi loss Mean Squared Error (MSE) dan Sum of Squared Error (SSE). Untuk menilai akurasi klasifikasi, evaluasi kinerja dilakukan dengan menggunakan confusion matrix. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan mampu mengklasifikasikan tingkat kematangan biji kopi dengan akurasi yang sangat tinggi, mencapai 96,67% pada data uji. Dalam penelitian ini, variasi learning rate dan jumlah hidden unit juga diuji untuk mencari konfigurasi yang optimal. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi learning rate sebesar 0,01 dan jumlah hidden unit sebanyak 15 memberikan performa terbaik dengan kestabilan dan efisiensi pelatihan yang sangat baik.

Abstract

This research enhances the performance of a wheeled soccer robot in the RoboCup Middle Size League (KRSBI-B) by integrating Stereo Vision cameras, YOLOv5, and Harris Corner Detection for precise distance estimation and object detection. The objective is to improve the robot's ability to accurately recognize and measure the distance of objects, particularly the ball and opposing robots. Using image processing, the system significantly enhances real-time object detection, improving decision-making during the match. The YOLOv5 algorithm, trained with 4,000 labeled images, achieved impressive accuracy with confidence levels up to 0.99 for ball detection at 250 cm. Results show strong correlations between high-confidence detections and accurate distance estimations, enabling effective responses to dynamic match situations. This system provides a competitive edge, improving responsiveness, adaptability, and gameplay strategies, supporting its application in real-world robotic competitions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membandingkan efektivitas metode kendali Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) dan Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) dalam meredam ayunan beban (sway) pada sistem gantry crane dua dimensi. Dengan simulasi MATLAB menggunakan variasi beban 0,1 hingga 1,3 kg, hasil menunjukkan bahwa kendali LQR mampu menjaga kestabilan posisi troli dengan waktu naik (rise time) antara 1,56 hingga 1,96 detik dan overshoot rendah sekitar 2,66%–3,24%, serta berhasil mengurangi overshoot ayunan beban dari 37,41% menjadi 28,18%. Sebaliknya, kendali PID meskipun menunjukkan rise time dan overshoot lebih kecil secara numerik, mengalami ketidakstabilan pada grafik respons posisi yang mengindikasikan divergensi sistem secara fisik. Temuan ini menegaskan keunggulan LQR dalam mengendalikan gantry crane dengan dinamika kompleks dan variasi beban, sehingga lebih cocok untuk aplikasi industri yang menuntut kestabilan dan keamanan tinggi.

Abstract

Artikel ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis legalitas implementasi asas poligami di negara Indonesia yang masih banyak sekali terjadi kesalahan dalam memaknai arti asas poligami dan penerapannya di dalam perkawinan. Analisis artikel ilmiah ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif yang menitikberatkan kepada penelitian kepustakaan melalui sumber-sumber literatur yang terdahulu untuk mengkaji lebih dalam terkait permasalahan yang diusung dalam artikel ilmiah ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwasannya poligami diperkenalkan didalam situasi tertentu yang mendesak ataupun ketentuan-ketentuan lan yang berdasar kepada undang-undang.

Abstract

 Abstract: This study analyzes the concept of character education according to the Qur'an and Hadith through qualitative studies of various previous studies. Character education is a crucial aspect in shaping individuals who have moral integrity and social responsibility. In the context of Islamic education, the Qur'an and Hadith are the main sources that establish the values and principles of good character formation. The Qur'an provides basic guidance, while the Hadith provides concrete examples of these teachings. This study explores the values and methods of character education contained in the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as their relevance in the context of formal and informal education. The findings of the research are expected to make a significant contribution to the understanding and implementation of character education rooted in Islamic values, with the ultimate goal of creating Muslim individuals with noble character and an ethical society.

Abstract

Telepon seluler sudah menjadi kebutuhan pokok belakangan ini. Kegiatan belajar, bekerja, pencarian informasi, interaksi sosial, dan hiburan telah banyak dilakukan menggunakan alat ini. Penggunaan ponsel yang hampir setiap hari digunakan membuat kebutuhan akan sumber daya baterai menjadi tinggi. Siswa, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan di lingkungan sekolah merupakan salah satu segmen masyarakat yang menggunakan ponsel. Berdasarkan kenyataan bahwa tempat yang memiliki sumber listrik untuk pengisian ponsel di sekolah sangatlah terbatas. Oleh sebab itu, tim dosen Program Studi Teknik Komputer memiliki rencana merancang sistem tepat guna berupa solar charging station yang direncanakan dapat menyediakan tempat pengisian daya baterai dengan memanfaatkan tenaga surya sebagai sumber listriknya. Diharapkan dengan adanya produk ini membantu warga sekolah untuk melakukan pengisian baterai ponsel yang dimiliki. Selain itu akan dilaksanakan edukasi wawasan serta perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan terkait pemanfaatan energi baru terbarukan bagi siswa sekolah Al Islah Surabaya.
