Abstract

Saat ini berbagai macam media dapat digunakan untuk mengajar secara online. Bisa menggunakan WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram atau beragam media sosial lainnya. Namun untuk kebutuhan belajar mengajar, platform Leaning Management System (LMS) jauh lebih baik dari semua sosial media tersebut. Salah satu LMS yang cukup popular dikalangan akademisi adalah Google Classroom. Namun fitur dalam Google Classroom standar tidak selengkap dengan LMS lain seperti Schoology dan Moodle. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memodifikasi/mengembangkan google classroom standar menjadi LMS dengan fitur yang lebih lengkap. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan matematika semester IV tahun 2021. Cakupan materi yang akan dimasukkan dalam sistem adalah materi dalam mata kuliah Analisis Real I pada program studi Pendidikan matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan menggunakan model Plompt. Platform yang sudah dikembangkan kemudian dinilai oleh evaluator dari sisi aksebilitas, kustomisasi, kelas virtual, evaluasi dan kontennya sebelum diimplementasikan. Hasil penilaian dari dua evaluator menunjukkan bahwa Platform yang dikembangkan sangat baik digunakan untuk proses pembelajaran online ataupun pembelajaran campuran (Belnded Learning). Platform pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan oleh dosen lain yang mengajar mata kuliah yang sama dengan menggunakan referensi yang sama. Currently, various kinds of media can be used to teach online. Could be used WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, or various other social media. However, for teaching and learning needs, the Learning Management System (LMS) platform is much better than all these social media. One LMS that is quite popular among academics is Google Classroom. However, the features in standard Google Classroom are not as complete as other LMS such as Schoology and Moodle. The purpose of this research is to modify or develop the standard google classroom into an LMS with more complete features. The research subjects are students of Mathematics Education semester IV 2021. The scope of material that will be included in the system was material in the Real Analysis I course in the Mathematics Education study program. The method used was the development method using the Plompt model. The platform that has been developed was then assessed by evaluators in terms of accessibility, customization, virtual classes, evaluation, and content before being implemented. The results of the assessments from the two evaluators showed that the platform developed was very well used for the online learning process or mixed learning (Blended Learning). This learning platform could be used by other lecturers who teach the same subject using the same reference.

Abstract

Institusi pendidikan akan menjadi berkualitas manakala didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Sumber daya yang paling berpengaruh dalam satuan pendidikan tidak lain adalah guru. Untuk menghadirkan sosok guru yang berkualitas harus dimulai dari satuan pendidikan yang menghasilkan guru. Dari sana seharusnya sudah bisa tersaring mana yang bisa jadi guru professional mana yang tidak. Untuk itu perlu adanya filter yang dapat memisahkan antara calon guru berkualitas baik dan yang tidak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat suatu aplikasi  yang berguna untuk menguji kompetensi calon guru matematika. Dengan aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu dosen dalam menilai calon guru apakah pantas untuk diluluskan atau masih perlu ditempa. Untuk menghasilkan suatu aplikasi yang dapat diimplementasikan dibutuhkan empat tahapan yaitu: investigasi awal, tahap desain, tahap konstruksi/realisasi dan terakhir adalah evaluasi dan revisi. Tahap investigasi awal menentukan butir soal seperti apa yang ingin dimasukkan kedalam aplikasi. Pada tahap desain merancang tampilan soal dalam aplikasi seperti apa yang baik untuk para calon guru. Dalam tahap konstruksi/realisasi yaitu membuat aplikasi berdasarkan tahapan pertama dan kedua. Tahapan terakhir mengevaluasi dan merevisi kekurangan yang terdapat pada aplikasi yang telah dibuat. Hasil akhir diperoleh sebuah aplikasi ujian berbasis web yang telah teruji dan dinyatakan layak digunakan untuk menguji komptetensi calon guru matematika di Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka.Educational institutions will be of high quality if they are supported by quality human resources. The most influential resource in an educational unit is none other than the teacher. To present a qualified teacher, it must start from the education unit that produces teachers. From there, you should be able to filter out which ones can be professional teachers and which are not. For this reason, it is necessary to have a filter that can separate good quality teacher candidates and those who are not. The purpose of this study is to make an application that is useful for testing the competence of prospective mathematics teachers. With this application, it is hoped that it can help lecturers in assessing prospective teachers whether they are appropriate for graduation or still need to be forged. To produce an application that can be implemented, four stages are needed, namely: the initial investigation, the design stage, the construction/realization stage, and last is evaluation and revision. The initial investigation stage determines what items you want to include in the application. At the design stage, designing the appearance of questions in what kind of application is good for prospective teachers. In the construction/realization stage, namely making applications based on the first and second stages. The last stage is to evaluate and revise the shortcomings contained in the application that has been made. The results of the material evaluation and media evaluation from the two validation teams showed numbers in the good category. The final result is a web-based exam application that has been tested and declared suitable to be used to test the competence of prospective mathematics teachers at the University of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah menciptakan sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa-siswi SMP untuk latihan soal atau melakukan simulasi sebagai persiapan Ujian Akhir. Aplikasi latihan sengaja dibuat berbasis web agar lebih fleksibel karena bisa dioperasikan menggunakan Laptop ataupun menggunakan Smartphone. Aplikasi ini secara umum diperuntukkan bagi siswa SMP namun dikhususkan untuk siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 1 Tinondo karena peserta uji coba aplikasi diambil dari sekolah tersebut.  Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi adalah Ispring Suiteversi 9. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah lembar validasi materi, lembar validasi media dan prototipe yang dibuat. Model yang digunakan dalam pengembangan soal merupakan modifikasi dari beberapa model pengembangan seperti 4D, Plomp dan ADDIE. Dilaksanakan dalam delapan tahapan yaitu: analisis kebutuhan, tahap desain, realisasi, verifikasi, produksi prototipe, analisis butir soal, revisi dan finalisasi. Dari hasil pengembangan yang dilakukan diperoleh sebuah aplikasi bank soal yang dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai instrumen latihan persiapan menghadapi ujian matematika tahap akhir tingkat SMP. Instrumen ini memudahkan siswa dalam belajar melalui latihan soal karena dapat diakses melali smartphone. Instrumen ini juga merupakan sarana pembiasaan dalam menjawab soal berbasis web. This research aims to create a web-based application that can be used by junior high school students to practice questions or perform simulations in preparation for the Final Exam. The training application is deliberately made web-based to be more flexible because it can be operated using a laptop or using a smartphone. This application is generally intended for junior high school students but is specifically for students of SMP Negeri 1 Tinondo because the participants in the application trial are taken from the school. The software used to create the application is Ispring Suite version 9. The instruments used to collect data are material validation sheets, media validation sheets, and prototypes made. The model used in the problem development is a modification of several development models such as 4D, Plomp, and ADDIE. It is carried out in eight stages, namely: needs analysis, design stage, realization, verification, prototype production, item analysis, revision, and finalization. The results of the development carried out obtained a question bank application that was declared suitable to be used as a preparatory exercise instrument for the final stage of the junior high school mathematics exam. This instrument makes it easier for students to learn through practice questions because it could be accessed via smartphones. This instrument is also a means of habituation in answering web-based questions.

Abstract

Moodle is a trendy digital learning platform in education widely used to create online courses. Moodle's role in education is crucial because it provides many benefits, including facilitating distance learning, increasing student participation, increasing teaching efficiency, enabling easy assessment, enabling personalized teaching, and so on. There have been many studies on Moodle in the form of articles from year to year. Therefore, in this research, a bibliometric study will be carried out on the roles of Moodle in the world of education, mapping research results, looking at research trends, and looking for possible gaps that can still be studied more deeply. The method used in this research is a Systematic Literature Review using bibliometric analysis with the help of VoS Viewer. The study results show that Moodle is widely used to benefit learning in various fields, especially STEM. Moodle is generally used to digitize learning, including, in this case, the assessment and gamification process in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the procedure for making online questions using the jeruq.com website and describe the advantages and disadvantages of the question maker website. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The instruments used in collecting data were exam questions made using the jeruq.com website, interview guidelines, and most importantly the researchers themselves. Based on the results of trials and interviews conducted, several results were obtained including: (1) The fraud detector in the system has not functioned optimally, especially if the exam uses a smartphone. (2) In order for the conclusions in the item analysis to be more precise, the number of answer items in each item must be the same as the number in the system. The final conclusion obtained is that this website is very helpful for teachers or lecturers who want to make online exam questions quickly.

Abstract

Teknologi dalam pembelajaran berkembang sangat pesat khususnya pada bidang assesmen. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi, para pendidik sebaiknya mampu mentransformasi asesmen konvensional ke asesmen digital untuk mendukung proses digitalisasi dalam pendidikan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah membuat sebuah asesmen mata kuliah matematika dengan menggunakan Ispring Quiz maker kemudian mengintegrasikannya ke dalam Moodle. Perpaduan perangkat lunak pembuat kuis dengan LMS akan menambah wawasan para pembaca khususnya guru dan dosen dalam membuat asesmen matematika online. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu digunakan metode pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. (Analyzed, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Beberapa tahapan yang dilalui menghasilkan sebuah prototype assesmen mata kuliah matematika diskrit. Instrumen assesmen yang dihasilkan sudah melalui proses validasi butir soal dan validasi materi sehingga diperoleh instrumen yang baik dan layak digunakan. Secara spesifik instrumen ini berupa soal final untuk ujian matematika diskrit yang diakses melalui Moodle tapi dibuat menggunakan Ispring. Intrumen seperti ini belum pernah ada dalam penelitian-penelitian terdahulu. Instrumen ini nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan untuk Ujian Akhir Semester maupun Ujian tengah semester untuk mata kuliah Matematika Diskrit.Technology in learning is developing very rapidly, especially in the field of assessment. With the development of technology, educators should be able to transform conventional assessments into digital reviews to support the digitization process in education. The main objective of this research is to create a math course assessment using Ispring Quiz Maker and then integrate it into Moodle. Combining quiz maker software with LMS will add insight to readers, especially teachers and lecturers, in making online math assessments. A development method with the ADDIE model was used (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Several stages were passed to produce a discrete mathematics course assessment prototype. The resulting assessment instrument has undergone item and material validation to obtain a reasonable and feasible tool. Specifically, this instrument is a final question for the discrete mathematics exam, accessed through Moodle but created using Ispring. This kind of instrument has never existed in previous studies. This instrument can later be used for the Final Semester and Midterm examinations for Discrete Mathematics courses..

Abstract

Many mathematics learning models have been implemented in schools, but no learning model is specifically used to monitor the learning process at home. The purpose of this research is to create a learning model that can be used to monitor the learning process at home as well as serve as additional learning for students. The learning model developed is Structured, Systematic and Massive (SSM). Data collection used several questionnaires, namely content validation questionnaires (materials and quizzes), media validation questionnaires, test instruments and student response questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and then described. The development of this model uses the Moodle LMS tool. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model. The results showed that the developed model effectively monitored students’ learning process at home. In addition, the Criteria for Achieving Learning Objectives (KKTP) became easier after applying this model. The creation of this model is one of the alternative models for improving the quality of learning in schools. In conclusion, the Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) approach effectively understands and maps complex issues in home learning monitoring.

Abstract

Chamilo is an open-source Learning Management System that is rarely known by campus communities in Indonesia, even though this LMS has been published for quite some time. Very little research is related to Chamilo compared to other LMS such as Moodle. This study will examine research trends over the past ten years using the Systematic Literature Review method. The subjects studied were taken from the Dimension and Scopus databases. The tools used are VoS Viewer and Mendeley software. The unit of analysis used is the "co-author," which is studied deductively. In addition, the type of "co-occurrence" is also used to see the keywords that are most often used in research. The research results showed that 69% of all articles were from Indonesia. The type of development research also dominates articles originating from Indonesia. The most dominant keyword besides Chamilo itself is e-learning. Several research keywords that are not included in the occurrence analysis unit have the potential to be studied.

Abstract

Technology in learning is developing very rapidly regarding material delivery and assessment or evaluation. An educator needs to possess the ability to compose good assessments to measure the success of students' understanding of the material. With the development of technology, educators should be able to transform conventional assessments into digital assessments to support the digitalization process in education. The main objective of this research is to create an assessment tool for mathematics courses using the Ispring Quiz Maker and then integrate it into Chamilo. The combination of quiz maker software and LMS will add insight to readers, especially teachers and lecturers, in making online mathematics assessments. A modified development method from ADDIE, 4D, and Plomp was used to achieve this goal. The several stages passed resulted in an assessment prototype for the Differential Calculus course. The resulting assessment instrument has gone through the item and material validation processes to obtain a good instrument that is suitable for use. This instrument can later be used for the Final Semester and Midterm examinations for Differential Calculus courses.

Abstract

The number of online learning platforms available for free makes it easier for lecturers to deliver teaching materials but difficult for students. The use of different LMS by each lecturer causes almost all LMS on students' mobile devices. In order to make the learning process easier to organize, educational institutions should have one LMS that is the choice to be used together. Only now, Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka has no LMS, especially the Indonesian Language Education study program. Therefore, this research will produce a Learning Management System that can support online learning systems synchronously, asynchronously, and mixed learning in the Indonesian Language Education study program at Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka. The LMS that will be created is open-source-based so that it can be developed according to user needs. Specifically, the subjects included in the system are Educational media subjects at the college level. However, this LMS will be developed into a Faculty LMS that can be used to support learning management in all study programs. Five interrelated stages are needed to develop this LMS: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. These development stages are known as the ADDIE model. An LMS meets the standard criteria for use in Learning Media courses through these stages. The resulting prototype is very useful for learning management, so its use can be expanded and developed to improve learning management within the faculty.
