Abstract

This article aims to explore the concept of pluralist character in the Quran and its internalization in the world of education. The method in this research uses a qualitative approach in the form of literature study to explore the concept of the Quran related to the Pluralist character. Also through observations, questionnaires and interviews to explore about its implementation at SD Kharisma Bangsa. Research findings show that the Quran directs Muslims to understand that diversity is a necessity; therefore it needs efforts to be able to respect each other among the existing differences; also able to be fair when working together. Internalization of Character Education at SD Kharisma Bangsa is carried out through SEL learning and also supported by exemplary and habituation.

Abstract

The current young generation or the so-called Z generation is a generation born after 2000 until now and is very attached to gadgets. The ease that they have in accessing media, unfortunately, is not accompanied by a strong filter ability to be able to sort and select the information they receive. Therefore, today's teachers need to prepare themselves by developing their competencies to handle it. The solution offered is the development of the competence of PAI (Islamic religious education) teachers to be able to understand their students, who generally come from Z generation so that the learning process of PAI becomes effective. This service activity aims to help teachers and prospective teachers in increasing their understanding, awareness, and strategies in creating a PAI learning process that is interesting for the Z Generation. The implementation of activities in the form of workshops related to effective communication between teacher and students, the urgency of PAI in shaping character, the introduction of the characteristics of the Z Generation and PAI learning strategies for the Z Generation and closed with a share and care session. The workshop was conducted using an interactive method, between speakers and participants and supported by an assembly of sharing and care that strengthens and enhances the experiences and insights of teachers and prospective teachers on how to handle the Z generation in the Islamic religious education learning process

Abstract

Sex education is an effort to teach, raise awareness, and provide information about sexual problems. Sex education is very important to give to adolescents or what is often called the millennial generation. This study aims to determine: Attitudes or behaviour of the millennial generation towards various sexual problems around them and how Islam and its legal sources talk about the importance of sex education and whether there are differences in the level of understanding of sex education from an Islamic perspective. Research using a qualitative approach is the study of literature, by digging various information regarding sex education in millennials, the results are obtained, first: sex education should be considered as part of the educational process to strengthen the development of millennial personality. Second, parents have an important role to overcome deviant sexual behaviour is the way parents teach sex education directly and continuously to children as early as possible in the family according to Islamic teachings and local community norms so that the millennial generation accepts their sexuality which is an integral part of their lives with full of responsibility.

Abstract

The low learning ethic of the participants in the learning process who was brave throughout the Covid-19 pandemic was shown by the attitude of students who did not appreciate the learning process, even they had fun in their world (such as playing games, streaming Youtube, sleeping, travelling) without a teacher. Who is explaining the material. No, this problem is also experienced by teachers at the Nurul Huda Islamic boarding school, Bekasi, where they develop their capacity as teachers in an active, innovative, creative, fun, happy and meaningful (Paikem Gembrot) learning process and increase the learning ethos of students through the use of learning media. Based on this, the community service activity of the community partnership program (PPM PkM) provides soft skills support for teachers through learning media development activities through 1) training and assistance in developing Hot Potatoes learning media for teachers to provide soft skills strengthening in its efforts to improve student's learning ethos ; (2) implementing mentoring for teachers to find out their understanding of the material presented; (3) provide a forum for teachers to develop learning models and approaches that can support the improvement of students' learning ethos.

Abstract

This research tries to reveal the phenomenon of increased spirituality among society in DKI Jakarta, in response to the negative impacts of modernism. The revival of urban spirituality as an icon of modern society is marked by the passion of the people who follow various activities of spirituality, such as doing routine reciting holy Quran in various mosques, religious halaqah, religious teaching, and also prefer to do it in quiet areas and pursue activities that are considered capable of reassuring soul, which in this study focused on the pilgrimage of the tomb of Habib Husein Alydrus, Luar Batang. The result of the research shows the form of the meaning of modern spirituality, namely 1) Meaning of Life, which is shown by understanding the good relationship between self and the Almighty, 2) Peace of heart, body, and mind obtained by contemplation, and reading of verses holy. Further peace spreads to the mind and manifests itself in attitude or behavior. This calm and peaceful attitude will have implications for the relationship or connection with others and the environment; and 3) The strengthening of human values in the form of; empathy, courage, justice, and love.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the type of parenting style that dominates, as well as the support factors and the resisitance on the parent process of forming children’s religious character. This research describes the results of data from four families. The researcher uses qualitative descriptive method and a case study. In this research , the result shows that parenting that dominates in forming children's religious character is democratic parenting. Parents teach, familiarize, pay attention, and set a good example for children in performing the 5 daily prayers, reading The Holy Qur'an, Ramadan Fasting, good morals, studying, doing assignments, and being useful to others. Parents facilitate all the needs of children on their study. Supporting factors in the formation of children's religious character are parents following the pious people's behaviour, providing sustenance and halal food, parental involvement and sincerity in educating children, good parental communication relationships, conducive religious education environment, relation to pious people's houses, parents appreciating children's religious teachers, getting tahnik, parents' prayers and pious people', while the inhibiting factor is the difference of perception between parents and children due to differences in education in teaching children and the state of their hearts.

Abstract

The background for this activity is the low level of climate literacy and climate literacy in the community. Many people still think that flooding is a destiny that makes them surrender to the conditions that occur, so they are not ready to anticipate and minimize their impact. The activity with the theme of Strengthening Community Roles in Mitigation and Adaptation to Flood Disasters was attended by representatives of RT/RW in the Bidara Cina sub-district. The activity is carried out with a concept that involves the active participation of participants until the expected reinforcement occurs. The material includes Climate Literacy, Government Policy for climate change mitigation, flood mitigation and the validation of evacuation routes. The community's response is entirely reasonable to the activities carried out, and hopes that similar activities can continue to be carried out to increase public understanding of climate literacy and disaster literacy.
