Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep SMK N 1 Pekalongan tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan Posttest Only Control Design berbentuk quasi experimental design Populasinya adalah siswa kelas X SMK N 1 Pekalongan dengan sampel penelitian kelas X Tata Busana 1. Teknik sampling menggunakan random sampling. Instrument tes dilakukan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dengan uji F, dan uji t. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar yang artinya ditolak, berarti ada perbedaan rata-rata nilai posttest yang mengukur kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan dua model pembelajaran. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa SMK N 1 Pekalongan.

Abstract

Pecahan seringkali dianggap sebagai  materi  yang relatif sulit dipahami bagi sebagian siswa. Kesulitan tersebut terlihat ketika siswa diminta menentukan pecahan, membandingkan dua pecahan yang memiliki pembilang sama, dan mengoperasikan pecahan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan  suatu metode pembelajaran yang tepat dan dapat mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan situasi dunia nyata untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep pecahan secara lebih baik. Penerapan metode Matematika Gasing  mengarahkan siswa menemukan konsep Pecahan melalui media benda kongkrit. Penerapan metode Gasing berbantuan LKPD pun dapat memfasilitasi siswa untuk berlatih menyelesaikan masalah Pecahan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan metode Matematika Gasing pada materi pecahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi eksperimental. Data dianalisis menggunakan  uji Wilcoxon dengan  SPSS dan diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,00 0,05. Artinya terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan metode Matematika Gasing barbantuan LKPD. Selanjutnya kategori peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dianalisis berdasar N-Gain Score diperoleh rata-rata 0,59 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa penarapan metode Matematika  Gasing  berbantaun LKPD dapat berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pecahan di SD Muhammadiyah Pencongan.

Abstract

Our activity aims to assist 8th-grade students at SMP Plus Muhammadiyah Doro in learning Geometry using tangram teaching aids. This is related to the lack of enthusiasm some students feel during the learning process, especially in Geometry. The community service activity was carried out through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages, using lectures, discussions, experiments, and demonstrations. The instruments used include questionnaires given to students before and after the activity. The results of this activity show that: 1) almost all students contend that teachers now need tangrams to help in explaining teaching materials in Plane Geometry; 2) almost all students are interested in the tangrams, which is due to their ease of making and using; 3) almost all students contend that tangrams can help them to train their understanding of mathematical concepts, especially in plane figures; 4) most students believe that tangrams can enhance their motivation to learn.

Abstract

Tujuan pembelajaran dapat dicapai apabila proses belajar mengajar efektif. Pembelajaran matematika di SMK Gondang telah menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Namun, ketika pelaksanaannya masih kurang maksimal. Kesulitan ketika memahami konsep dan memecahkan masalah siswa banyak yang belum mampu. Dengan demikian, pendekatan RME menjadi salah satu solusinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk (1) mengetahui apakah kemampuan matematika yang dihasilkan oleh pendekatan RME sama atau tidak dengan kemampuan matematika yang dihasilkan oleh pendekatan saintifik; (2) mengetahui apakah pendekatan RME memberikan kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pendekatan saintifik; dan (3) mengetahui apakah pendekatan RME memberikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pendekatan saintifik. Quasi experimental digunakan sebagai metode penelitian dengan rancangan Posttest – only control design with nonequivalent groups. Lembar tes yang mengukur kemampuan siswa untuk memahami konsep dan memecahkan masalah berfungsi sebagai instrumennya. Adapun uji multivariat beda rerata digunakan untuk analisis data. Hasilnya yaitu tolak karena nilai Sig. . Artinya, kemampuan matematika yang dihasilkan oleh pendekatan RME sama atau tidak dengan kemampuan matematika yang dihasilkan oleh pendekatan saintifik. Hasil uji univariat diperoleh bahwa (1) pendekatan RME memberikan kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pendekatan saintifik dan (2) pendekatan RME memberikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pendekatan saintifik. Penerapan pendekatan RME dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the nutritional problems as well as a serious threat to children in Indonesia. Currently, the stunting rate in Indonesia is 37.2% or equivalent to 8 million children with suboptimal growth[3]. This is behind our need to hold a stunting counseling program, especially in pringgading hamlet, Guwosari district, Pajangan District, Bantul Regency. The form of counseling is in the form of providing information services by collaborating with local posyandu cadres to convey information to the community to invite the community to carry out public health movements. The hope is that the holding of stunting counseling activities in pringgading hamlet can increase public awareness regarding the importance of child growth and development so that increasingly noticed and increasing, so as to prevent stunting and reduce the percentage of stunting in Indonesia, especially in pringgading hamlet, Guwosari District, Pajangan District, Bantul Regency Keywords: Student, Counseling, Stunting

Abstract

Problem solving is one-skills most importantly no could separated adri learning math. In the process of solving problems, students will not be separated from their positive attitude towards mathematics (mathematical disposition). On the other hand, the results of tests and observations during the pandemic show that the mathematical problem-solving ability of class X students of Gondang Vocational School is relatively low. Moment solve-problem math, students not enough motivated for solve it. Besides that, students feel less confident and unable to solve math problems. Goal writing article is to describe the mathematical problem-solving abilities of class X students of SMK Gondang in terms of mathematical dispositions. The research method used in article this is qualitative method. Class X TKR 4 has 26 students. Subjects are selected using purposive sample technique based on the results questionnaire categorization, taking into account learning activities students in learning mathematics. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal conclusions referring to data processing Milles and Huberman. The research results show that position students dominant have a moderate level of disposition, and students who have the same level of disposition have different problem-solving abilities. This is because students have their own difficulties and mistakes in solving mathematics. Skills problem solving is based on the level of deep mathematical disposition post-pandemic learning, namely: students with a high disposition can fulfill four indicators of Polya problem solving, students with a moderate disposition are able to fulfill three indicators without re-examining the results and students with a low disposition can only fulfill one indicator that is understanding the problem

Abstract

Abstract: Literacy and numeracy are two important skills that every individual must have, especially in the current digital era. However, SDN 02 Mayangan is classified as a school with low literacy and numeracy skills. This can be seen from students in high classes still not being able to complete multiplication operations, students' literacy levels are relatively low, and students feel bored in class learning. Appropriate learning media and integration of local wisdom in learning can help improve student literacy and numeracy. However, most teachers have not been able to create learning media that suits students' needs and is based on local wisdom. Thus, there is a need for training and assistance in creating local wisdom-based learning media for teachers. The method for implementing this community partnership program uses Service Learning (SL). The SL method consists of four steps, namely investigation, preparation, action, and reflection. With this community service activity, teachers can improve their abilities in compiling and applying digital media, snakes and ladders media, and storybooks based on local wisdom to optimize students' literacy and numeracy skills. In this activity, 82% of participants felt very satisfied with the material presented and 80% of participants felt very satisfied with the method used. Keyword: learning media; local wisdom; literacy; numeracy Abstrak: Literasi dan numerasi merupakan dua keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap individu, terutama di era digital saat ini. Namun, SDN 02 Mayangan tergolong sekolah dengan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi yang rendah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari siswa pada kelas tinggi masih belum bisa meyelesaikan operasi perkalian, tingkat literasi siswa tergolong rendah, dan siswa merasa jenuh dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Media pembelajaran yang tepat dan integrasi kearifan local dalam pembelajaran dapat membantu meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi siswa. Namun demikian sebagian besar guru pun belum mampu membuat media pembelajaran yang sesuai kebutuhan siswa dan berbasis kearifan lokal. Dengan demikian diperlukan adanya pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal untuk guru. Metode pelaksanaan program kemitraan masyarakat ini menggunakan Service Learning (SL). Metode SL terdiri dari empat langkah, yaitu investigasi, persiapan, tindakan, dan refleksi. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, guru dapat meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam menyusun dan menerapkan media digital, media ular tangga, dan buku cerita   berbasis kearifan local untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa. Pada kegiatan ini, 82% peserta merasa sangat puas terhadap materi yang disampaikan dan 80% peserta merasa sangat puas terhadap metode yang digunakan. Kata kunci: media pembelajaran; kearifan lokal; literasi; numerasi.

Abstract

Mathematics is often considered a difficult and boring subject. However, with the right approach, mathematics can foster logical dan systematic thinking in problem-solving. This study aims to investigate: 1) the effect of RME approach on mathematical procedural fluency and student learning motivation, 2) the effect of RME approach on mathematical procedural fluency, 3) the effect of RME approach on student learning motivation. The method used was quasi-experiment with post-test only control group design. Research instruments included a written a test to measure procedural fluency, and a questionnaire to assess learning motivation. Data analysis techniques in this study used multivariate and univariate analysis with R software. The results showed that: 1) there is a significant difference simultaneously with Hotelling's T² test with p-value 0.02256 < 0.05, 2) there is a significant difference in procedural fluency with t-Independent test shows p-value 0.01019 < 0.05, 3) there is a significant difference in procedural fluency with Mann-Whitney test shows p-value 0.1249 > 0.05. These findings indicate that cognitive aspects and affective aspects have an attachment in achieving effective learning. Therefore, the RME approach can be considered an alternative learning strategy that teachers can use to develop residual mathematical abilities more optimally.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the differences in mathematical procedural fluency and mathematical disposition between students who received instruction using the RME approach and those taught using the expository approach. The type of research employed was a quasi-experimental study with a posttest-only control group design. The subjects consisted of two seventh-grade classes at SMP Negeri 13 Pekalongan. The instruments used included an essay test and a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the R software. The assumption tests applied were the Shapiro–Wilk test for univariate normality, the Henze–Zirkler test for multivariate normality, the F-test for univariate homogeneity, and Box’s M test for multivariate homogeneity. Hypothesis testing was conducted using Hotelling’s T² test for multivariate analysis. The result showed a p-value of 8.02e-06 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Follow-up analysis using the Mann–Whitney U test revealed a significant difference in procedural fluency (p = 3.21e-05), while the independent t-test showed no significant difference in mathematical disposition (p = 0.3207). The mean score for procedural fluency in the RME class was higher than that of the expository class. These findings suggest that the RME approach is more effective in improving students’ procedural fluency, although it has not yet shown a significant effect on mathematical disposition.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa pada materi logaritma yaitu siswa kurang memahami sifat-sifat logaritma untuk menyelesaikan soal logaritma sehingga diperlukan media agar mempermudah siswa mempelajari materi tersebut. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan belajar logaritma kepada siswa dengan menggunakan media Pokema. Media Pokema merupakan media pembelajaran matematika yang terdiri dari petunjuk penggunaan, materi logaritma, kartu-kartu berisi soal-soal logaritma dan kunci jawaban. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah siswa MA Tholabudin Masin berjumlah 20 orang. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Service Learning yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu tahap investigasi dan perencanaan, tindakan, refleksi, dan demontrasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu rata-rata kemampuan siswa pada materi logaritma berbeda sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendampingan. Selain itu sebanyak 85% siswa berpendapat media pokema menarik minat siswa untuk belajar logaritma.
