<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to analyze the difficulties of students in solving problems of mathematical problem solving abilities of students of SMP Negeri in West Bandung Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The subjects of the study were 26 people of SMP Negeri 1 Rongga class VII-C. The instrument used includes a test instrument of mathematical problem solving ability of triangular and rectangular material, as many as 5 questions containing four problem solving indicators, namely understanding the problem, planning the solution strategy, solving the problem according to the plan, and checking the answers again. Obtaining the results of the answers is done by giving a score for each indicator. Percentage of each indicator is obtained by finding the average student's answer. The results of this study were the lowest percentage of problem solving ability indicators found in the indicator of checking the truth and the average problem-solving ability obtained was in the moderate category.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out what errors are experienced by students in solving story problems on one-variable linear equation material and what factors cause students to have difficulty working on problems on one-variable linear equation material. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative research method. The research subjects used were students of SMP Negeri in one of the Cimahi cities in class VII-J as many as 17 students. The data collection technique was carried out by giving a description test of 3 questions. The results of this study found that students' difficulties in solving story problems were lack of understanding of reading questions so that students did not write down what was known and asked, difficulty in compiling mathematical models, difficulty in determining completion results, using the wrong process, and difficulties in writing answers. end. The factors that cause students' difficulties in completing PLSV are not understanding the meaning of the question, not understanding the material for algebraic arithmetic operations, and students who are not accustomed to solving story problems.]]>

<![CDATA[The research was conducted to improve student learning outcomes on Arithmetic Rows and Series materials by applying the discovery learning model, based on of student learning outcomes being still low and difficulties in understanding and remembering the concepts of Arithmetic Rows and Series materials. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) which lasts for 2 cycles. The subjects of this research were 26 students of class X from one of the Vocational Schools in Cimahi. Data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews and test questions. The data obtained are then analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the percentage of student learning outcomes with scores above 70 before being given action or pre-cycle was 0.00% then after being given action the percentage continued to increase in each cycle. The percentage in the first cycle was 7.69% and in the second cycle was 96.15%. All data results in this study were processed using Microsoft Excel by looking for the percentage of the average value in each cycle. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that the use of the discovery learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Vocational School students on arithmetic sequences and series.]]>

<![CDATA[During the covid-19 pandemic, learning in schools became limited. However, as time goes by, face to face learning had to continue in order to achieve maximum learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in class XI in a Vocational High Schools in Cimahi City by using a Problem Based Learning approach to the material of mathematical logic. This research is a classroom action research method which was conducted on 12 students in the 2021/2022 academic year.The test instrument is a posttest consisting of 4 essay questions, which are given in cycle I and cycle II. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The average value of the class in cycle I did not meet the KKM. In cycle II, the average value of the class has increased, so that it reaches the KKM.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to analyze the improvement of learning outcomes on the material of a two-linear equation system using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in class X SMK X Multimedia 3 Group B SMK TI Garuda Nusantara Cimahi. The research method used is a two-cycle class action research method. The subjects in this study were 13 students of class X SMK X Multimedia 3 Group B SMK TI Garuda Nusantara Cimahi. The instruments used are in the form of observation, documentation and test questions. The stages in this research are conducting a pre-cycle (before the action), doing work on the LKS, and finally doing a final test (after giving the action). The data processing technique used is using excel The results of this study indicate that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach can improve student learning outcomes at SMK TI Garuda Nusantara Cimahi class X Multimedia 3 Group B Multimedia.]]>

<![CDATA[Problems in learning mathematics that are often encountered include the inability of students to understand correctly the subject matter being taught resulting in the achievement of student learning outcomes being less than optimal. The purpose of this study was to describe the results of the analysis of the difficulties of class X SMK students in solving root form problems. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of the study were 13 students of class X at SMK 4 LPPM RI. The research instrument consisted of three root form test questions. The data collection technique used in this study was in the form of test results. The results of the study indicate that students' mastery of the material is above 70% so it can be said that students have no difficulty in solving problems. However, students still have difficulty understanding the concept of root form and errors in calculations. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that class X SMK students in solving root form problems in calculating the final settlement, while for indicators determining the concept of rationalizing root forms, it is above 70%.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes by applying a problem based learning approach to algebraic form of material. The method used in this research is classroom action research (CAR) which was carried out in one of the junior high schools in the Cimahi area. This research was carried out for two cycles, with the techniques used were observation, test questions, and also documentation. The subjects of this class action research were teachers and students of SMP class VII which consisted of 22 people. The increase in student learning outcomes is reviewed based on the results of working on individual test questions. The questions are given before and after the algebraic form material is delivered. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that learning mathematics by applying a problem based learning approach to algebraic form material could improve student learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in learning mathematics on the material of straight line equations using the Problem Based Learning approach. This research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out through 2 cycles. The research subjects were 19 students of SMP Negeri 16 Cimahi class VIII C. To obtain research data used instruments in the form of essay tests, interviews, and observation questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes, in the first cycle students whose scores reached the KKM were 10 students (52.63%), in the second cycle there were 16 students (89.47%), besides that when learning was carried out students were more active in asking questions, and discuss. Thus, it is concluded that the Problem Based Learning approach can improve learning outcomes and student activity in learning the material of Straight Line Equations.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle by using a problem based learning approach. The study was conducted in class VII of SMP Negeri 16 Cimahi in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), the research is carried out in cycle II. The initial stage of the researcher consists of the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. The instrument used is a test in the form of questions and non-test by making observations. This research data processing uses the percentage formula with the help of microsoft excel. The research subjects were 14 seventh grade students from SMP Negeri 16 Cimahi in the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of this study stated that in cycles 1 and 2 there was an increase in student learning outcomes. In the first cycle of student learning outcomes that is equal to 35.7% and in cycle 2 there is an increase in student learning outcomes that is equal to 90.63%.]]>

<![CDATA[Through the use of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, this activity seeks to improve mathematics learning outcomes. This research uses classroom action research as its methodology. At An-Naja Middle School, this research was conducted. The sample of this study amounted to 15 students, and the implementation took place in November. RPP, LKPD, and description exam questions are research tools used. The written test data processing technique in this study used the percentage. The results showed that 1) by using the RME approach, student learning outcomes have increased as indicated by the increase in student learning success, where the average value of students in the first cycle is 38.80 with a percentage of 6.6% and increased to 89.40 with a percentage value of 100 % in cycle II. The application of the method can be concluded from the research findings. The application of realistic mathematics teaching strategies can improve student learning outcomes.]]>
