Abstract

The implementation of the charging manually lecture attendance list can give rise to various problems in monitoring students in real, spending a lot of files, and will need a room that is spacious enough for archive files lecture attendance When in a long time. Lecture attendance system the manual it's time replaced with a computerized attendance system and biometric features. In this research will be developed the system the presence of lectures based on face recognition and identification help ATMEGA32 microcontroller to open classroom. To be able to identify students facial recognition process on an image that is by using the method of Viola-Jones. From the test results, the success rate of introduction of the application of the presence of a lecture based on the identification of facial features using the methods of the Viola-jones of 89.3%. Moreover the application can store data made the presence of student coursework in database and present information in the form of lecture attendance report

Abstract

At the management level, the information becomes a factor in the decision making process. It takes a form of support for different data processing of transactional data processing form that allows the leadership of obtaining accurate information and in a short time, so that will give birth to independence in obtaining information. Information on the student data needed by a coordinator academic campus to see the conditions in which academic information only from a centralized database in BAAK. To overcome these problems need to design a data warehouse for the system dashboard for campus coordinator can monitor academic conditions.

Abstract

Udayana University has a library that purposed to serve all the student and lecturer needs in Post graduate program. To help achieve University goals to be a world class university, improvement of library management and assessment of its value and function is needed. Data Warehouse concept is a long proven solution that exist to help the upper management know the state of the institution through its own data. Effective design of Data Warehouse can help the management of institution to decide critical evaluation for its institution. On past research Kimball & Ross propose a technique to build an effective design of Data Warehouse named “9 Steps Methodology”. This paper is aiming to build an effective design of Udayana Postgraduate Library Data Warehouse using Kimbal & Ross Methodology. We hope by this blueprint we can contribute to the future of the library by providing additional choice of Data Warehouse Design. After we follow through all the 9 steps and using past 3 years data of the library, we successfully designed model of Data Warehouse that consist of 8 dimension tables and 9 facts tables

Abstract

Abstract—The purpose of this study is to develop a decision support system to decide the best new English Teacher. The methods used are method of analysis, design method, and literature study. The learning method that is done is to survey the running company system, conduct interview with HRD, and analysis the survey. In literature study conducted by looking for references sources related to the research undertaken. The design is data management subsystem, knowledge base model and user interface. The results achieved are the creation of an application decision support system that can be used to select the most appropriate English teacher and in accordance with the criteria required. This system helps support the decision-making process for new English teacher. Keywords—system, decision, analytical hierarchy process (AHP)

Abstract

Garment company is a company that is recyclingfabric into apparel. Processing through several phases i.e. Setupprocess materials, production planning to produce a product. Inthe garment companyhas units that administered by the manager. The unit i.e. warehouses, production, marketing, human resourcesand finance. As time goes by, followed by information technologywhich is increasingly growing, the company needs a system ofinformation that is in tune with the business processes of thecompany. For it takes a data warehouse technology, so need tobuilt an integrated information system between units. EnterpriseArchitecture is the method used in building an enterprisearchitecture. One of the frameworks used in building aninformation system is TOGAF. TOGAF is used as a step inestablishing a system of information in the future can support thebusiness activities of the company.

Abstract

Information systems have become an important requirement in helping human work, one of which is e-library. Thissystem is used by librarians in carrying out daily business processes in the library, such as borrowing and returning books, managing book collections, and procuring the latest book collections so that the library has updated books. Over time, the datastored in the database will increase a lot, so when analyzing information that requires data with a certain period will take quite along time. So, in this case, the use of a data warehouse is needed to help the librarian in providing the information needed. Thisresearch will present a data warehouse design using snowflake schema by following the design stages in Fourth Steps DimensionalModeling, as one of the solutions in providing the required data warehouse design in the e-library.

Abstract

In the development of information technology, it is very important for the industry to create a structured data warehouse. It has functions as a track record data and digital archiving. One industry that requires a data warehouse is a hospital. Hospitals need a digitizing system that can store medical record data and other vital data in their managerial system. Hospitals are now required to have a hospital management information system as an information medium to speed up the process of obtaining computerized information. Hospital data warehouse must be built with a systematic, tactical scheme in reporting and can guarantee its confidentiality from unauthorized persons. Displaying reports from the database is possible but has complex and very slow queries. So to make an executive report that quickly requires making dimensional data warehouse. Data warehouse schemes from a good Hospital Management System can be made in various ways, one of which utilizes the Facts Constellation scheme as the research raised by this paper.

Abstract

Along with the development of information and communication technology (ICT), which has become a major influence for change in all sectors, including health, especially in medical records is called electronic medical record. Basically an electronic medical record is the use of electronic methods to collect, store, process, and access patient records in hospitals that have been stored in a multimedia database management system, bringing together various medical data sources. Often the problem arises there is no relationship between the respective health care providers in terms of information on the medical record. Although the patient may have a medical examination at a health care provider vary at a certain time. This leads to the same inspection occurring repeatedly. Whereas previous medical records are very useful in further medical examination. Of the several problems mentioned above have designed a centralized electronic medical record system that accommodates patient medical records in a centralized database for the purpose of patient records stored in a single database storage. So if one day the patient is registered in the system, if referred from one hospital to another hospital in the area, data can be viewed and accessed based on data from the hospital or health care provider who has joined in this system. With this system helps reduce the possibility of misdiagnosis. Keywords: Centralized Medical Record, Data Warehouse and ROLAP

Abstract

Student motivation at class takes major role on achieving courses’ learning outcomes. Multimedia based content, game-based quiz, or self-assessment can maintain student interest to follow the learning process. Apart from the individual solution, working in group is one way to improve student motivation, however without proper arrangement, putting students in groups can degrade the competitive atmosphere of class, as less-smart students hang up to the more-smart students. Another alternative is implementing collaborative learning such as peer assessment that allows students to grade their fellows. However, objectivity between students must be concerned as students tend to give high-grade for their fellows. Combining group mode and peer assessment, this work proposed group peer assessment to improve student motivation on e-learning. Proposed method started by teacher open a group assignment on e-learning. Students then work on group to create solution. After the solutions are submitted, the extra-group peer assessment begins, where each group examines another group work. To maintain the objectivity of the peer assessment, final grade of each group obtained by combining grade from another group and grade from teacher. In the meantime, cooperation atmosphere in each group is maintained by intra-group peer assessment, where each member asses all his/her teammates in terms of intra-personal and inter-personal skills.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is very fond of soccersport, according to Gojek-Traveloka League data there are anaverage of 13,423 spectators watching every game. With a sizeableaudience and a fairly regular schedule of matches by clubs andleagues in Indonesia. It makes predictions interesting because itwill provide an overview and direction of support for thecompeting club. In some studies relating to predictions anddecisions recommending the use of excessive C4.5 methods oralgorithms, such as the C4.5 algorithm can produce decision treesthat are easy to interpret, have an acceptable level of accuracy, efficient in dealing with discrete type attributes and can handleattribute of discrete and numeric type. So based on theexplanation, this research will discuss about the prediction ofIndonesian football club match using C4.5 method based on gamehistory that has been done before. The purpose of this research isto know how far C4.5 method can be applied in predicting soccermatch. The results of this study indicate that the C4.5 algorithmcan be implemented in predictions of the results of the gameproved with a fairly good accuracy of 63.04%.
