Abstract

Research on the decision description about the career of students of SMKN 9 Garut is a descriptive quantitative study with the aim of obtaining an overview of the level of career planning of students at SMKN 9 Garut. Based on the research results, it is found that career planning decisions at SMKN 9 Garut are in the high category on each indicator, which consists of I believe that the goal is; involved in information seeking; and select interests in further education and employment. This illustrates that students have: optimism in the continuing education and employment database, a desire to collect information that supports further education and employment, and a tendency to determine further education or employment. Keywords:Career Decisions, Vocational School Students

Abstract

Good prosocial behavior is important for students to support student success in both the social and academic fields.  The one of the measuring tools that can be used is a questionnaire.  The purpose of this research is to make a questionnaire along with the validity and reliability test of the questionnaire.  The research used is a R&D method with 13 respondents of class XI at SMK Aloer Wargakusumah. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the questionnaire test with 50 statement items shows that there are 36 valid statement items with a comparison between rcount> rtable.  While the reliability test shows the Cronbach Alpha value> 0.60, then the questionnaire can be said to be reliable or consistent with the moderate category according to Sugiyono's criteria table.  Keywords:  prosocial behavior,  questionnaire, validity and reliability test

Abstract

This study aims to determine the independence profile of the eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Pakenjeng. The sample involved was 54 people, with the transfer technique using the learning independence questionnaire. Based on descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques obtained research results as follows the learning independence profile of students in class VIII of SMP 1 Pakenjeng depending on the medium category. Learning independence by sex comparing the learning independence of female students is better than the learning independence of male students. The results of the study of learning independence in terms of aspects of learning independence found motivation and cognitive aspects more influence the learning independence of class VIII students compared to the aspects of motivation.Keywords:  Independence of learning, junior high school students

Abstract

Research on the relationship of self efficacy and reading ability of students in grade III SD 1 Suci Kaler supports understanding the relationship between self efficacy and reading ability. The research method uses quantitative correlational. Data collection in this study uses self efficacy questionnaires and secondary data on students' reading skills scores. The study population was all students of class III SD 1 Suci Kaler with a research sample of 52 people. The data analysis technique used is the correlational hypothesis test with the product moment test with the help of the SPSS 22 application. Based on the results of the study related to the relationship of self efficacy and reading skills of third grade students of SD 1 Suci Kaler with a correlation value of 0.403, it can be interpreted between self efficacy and skills reading grade III students at SD 1 Suci Kaler is positive, meaning that if self-efficacy can increase, students' reading skills will immediately increase. The level of conversation between self-efficacy and reading skills of third grade students at SD 1 Suci Kaler depends on the medium category.Keywords:  Self-efficacy, reading skills.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan wawasan mengenai Positive Parenting Program (Tripe P) melalui seminar Parenting kepada Ibu-Ibu Dhrama Wanita Persatuan Kabupaten Garut. Bentuk penyampaian materi diakukan dalam bentuk Ceramah, Role play dan diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan  ini  bermanfaat karena peserta mendapatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai pola pengasuhan anak yang lebih positif dan mengembangkan keyakinan bahwa orang tua memiiki kendali penuh terhadap pengasuhannya baik dengan dukungan yang minimal bahkan tanpa dukungan sekalipun serta mampu mengelola dinamika emosi pada saat orang tua melakukan pengasuhan.Kata Kunci : Orang tua, Pengasuhan, positif

Abstract

Independence in learning is student learning activities that are carried out individually without depending on the people around them, initiative, have the desire and awareness and can be responsible for completing assignments and learning problems on their own. Seeing the importance of independent learning for the future of students, an instrument is needed for independent learning. This study has the aim of testing the validity and reliability of the student learning independence questionnaire. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 30 statements with a subject of 60 students of SMP Negeri'2 Batujajar. It is known that from 30 statements, 28 statements were declared valid with a reliability result of 0.830 belonging to the high category. So it can be concluded that this questionnaire is valid and reliable to be used as an instrument to measure student learning independence.Keywords: : Learning Independence, Validity, Reliability

Abstract

Generasi Z dipengaruhi oleh teknologi yang serba digital dituntut untuk lebih menerima dan menghormati lingkungan dibandingkan dengan generasi-generasi sebelumnya, sehingga diperlukan konseling kolaboratif yang menjadi pendekatan untuk melatih generasi Z supaya dapat berkolaborasi dan bersinergi ditengah keragaman dan perbedaan. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan Teknik diskusi, ceramah, dan demonstrasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan memahami konsep konseling kolaboratif yang mencakup (1) membangun hubungan; (2) mengklarifikasi keluhan, masalah, tujuan dan hasil yang diprioritaskan; (3) mengubah pandangan, tindakan, dan suasana; (4) menilai perubahan setelah melaksanakan konseling kolaboratif.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a tendency to end a task or work until the end of a predetermined time limit. Academic procrastination results in several unfavorable impacts for the perpetrators, such as being left behind in learning. This study uses research and development methods. This study focuses on presenting the results of  validity and reliability of the academic procrastination questionnaire. The results of the validity test of 35 statements given to 85 grade 9 junior high school students showed that there were 32 valid statements with a validity test value of 0.911 where the number was included in the very high category. With this very high category, the questionnaire can be used to collect information about academic procrastination anywhere and anytime. Keywords: Academic Procrastination, Validity, Reliability

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of self-confidence problems that occur in students. Self-confidence has an important role for all individuals, especially in the field of education, self-confidence is a person's basic capital in meeting their own various needs. Every student must have self-confidence to know the abilities that exist in him and develop the potential that is in him. Therefore, a confidence measurement tool is needed in the form of a confidence questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. From 50 statement items, 10 statements are obtained that are declared valid and the validity test gets a value of 0.446 which is included in the moderate category. That way self-confidence questionnaires can be used with shifting results when used with other subjects. Keywords:  Self Confidence, Validity, Reliability

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still students who have low self-confidence in school. The form of efforts made in counseling guidance services to provide students' understanding in increasing self-confidence is through group guidance services. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive research approach that combines three ways of collecting data, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The research sample was 7 students of class XI at SMK Negeri 6 Garut. From the research that has been done, it is found that students feel better than the level of self-confidence with group guidance services and psychodrama techniques that researchers do. So it can be concluded that the technique used by the researcher can be one way to increase self-confidence, especially for students at school.Keywords: Self-confidence, group guidance services, Psychodrama Techniques, Learners.
