Abstract

Pembentukan karakter seseorang tidak dapat dilakukan dengan mudah, hal tersebut memerlukan proses yang tidak sebentar. Sedangkan pada tahun 2020 sedang maraknya kasus COVID-19 tersebar, sehingga membuat pembelajaran harus dilakukan secara daring. Tentunya hal ini dapat menjadi peluang terhambatnya pembentukan karakter siswa, terlebih pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Banyak orangtua yang mengeluhkan tentang anaknya yang hanya mendapatkan pembelajaran secara akademik saja, sedangkan orangtua terkadang tidak bisa selalu mendampinginya untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugasnya serta dalam proses pembentukan karakter siswa SD ini masih ada kendala. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk membantu orangtua membentuk karakter anaknya yang masih di Sekolah Dasar. Pengabdian ini merupakan penyuluhan yang diadakan di sekolah dan nantinya akan disampaikan kemudian pada orangtua. Berdasarkan hasil interview, dapat disimpulkan bahwa orangtua siswa SD tersebut merasa terbantu dan anak-anak mereka jadi lebih terarah dalam pembentukan karakternya.Kata kunci: COVID-19, Pembentukan Karakter, Orangtua Siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop mathematics differentiation learning worksheets based on learning style and to know the impact for mathematics understanding ability in 4th grade. The method we used was R&D including 10 steps. The instruments were a validation test, questionnaire for teachers and students, and an understanding concept test. Validation and questionnaire data analyzed by descriptive quantitative. Although, mathematics understanding ability data analyzed by difference test and N-Gain test. The results of this study show that the differentiation learning worksheets fit with the criteria. Eligibility validation from experts gets an average of 91%. Practically based on teachers and students’ responses get an average 86%. It means that the learning materials are very valid. The learning materials in experiment class can increase the understanding concept with N-Gain 0,74. We can conclude that with mathematics differentiation learning worksheets can increase mathematics understanding ability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD Matematika Berdiferensiasi Gaya Belajar dan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa di kelas IV SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (RnD) yang terdiri atas 10 langkah. Instrumen pengumpul data meliputi lembar validasi, angket respon guru dan siswa, dan tes pemahaman konsep. Data validasi dan kepraktisan dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif, sedangkan data kemampuan pemahaman matematis dianalisis dengan uji beda dan n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berdiferensiasi yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Validasi kelayakan oleh ahli memperoleh rata-rata skor 91% (sangat layak). Kepraktisan mengacu pada respon guru dan siswa memperoleh rata-rata skor 86% (sangat baik). LKPD berdiferensiasi di kelas eksperimen mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis secara efektif dibanding kelas kontrol dengan n-gain 0,74. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa sesuai gaya belajarnya dapat dipengaruhi oleh LKPD berdiferensiasi.

Abstract

This study aims to produce worthwhile and practical teaching materials by using a scientific approach that helps GeoGebra. This research is supported by Sugiyono (2009) model. This study was conducted in one of SMP countries in Bandung Regency, with the subject of two-class research or about 70 students of class VIII in the events of the year of the 2021/2022 school. The material of the material developed is polyhedron. All data is collected from the Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) of GeoGebra, authenticate system validation, questionnaires of validation media, directory of validation practitioners, practitioner's cash response, and student response questionnaire. Before conducting research, researchers first conducted preliminary studies, then designed teaching materials, then tested the feasibility to experts with 81% of the material expert, 82% of media experts, and 93% of practitioners experts with very well-worthy categories. Practical tests are seen from the questionnaire of response teachers with 94% and question response in the 86% result with very practical category.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes after using a scientific approach to online learning. The research was carried out at SMP Negeri 8 Cimahi with the subjects of class IX students totaling 35 people. Collecting data in the form of student test results with a discussion of quadratic equations. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle was carried out in 2 meetings. In the first cycle, the learning was less than optimal in applying the scientific approach and the students' motivation to learn mathematics was less. In the second cycle, the deficiencies that occurred in the first cycle were corrected. In cycle II, many students were able to solve the questions given, actively asked if there was something they did not understand and many students were able to participate in online learning using a scientific approach. The results of this study indicate that the scientific approach to online learning can be applied and an increase in each cycle has a good impact on grade IX students at SMP Negeri 8 Cimahi.

Abstract

This study aims to produce LKPD using a scientific approach assisted by vba powerpoint that is appropriate to the stages of development, is valid, practical, and effective on students mathematical understanding abilities on set material. Tis research method is research and development (r&d) with Borg amd Gall stages. This research was conducted at Mts Az-zahra Selacay consisting of 22 students of class VIII and 44 students of class VII. The intruments used are validation sheets, intervies sheets, students questionnaires, and comprehension ability test. The results showed that : (1) the assessment given by the material validator 84% was in the “very valid” category (2) the assessment given by the media validator 85% was in the “very valid” category (3) 72% of students in the limited trial gave practical response and 72,5% of students gave a “practical” response so that this worksheets produk is practical to use (4) the result of the comprehension ability test yo measure effectiveness are in the “effective” category with a percentage of 71%, meaning that this worksheets is effective for use in group learning on the ability to understand mathematics.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of the product being developed. The product developed is a Student Worksheet (LKPD) on flat-sided building materials based on an assisted scientific approach GeoGebra. This research uses the method Research and Development (R&D), the 4D model according to Thiagarajan is limited to 3 stages, namely definition, design and development. The instruments used are test and non-test instruments. Data is processed using Microsoft Excel 2010. The subjects in the research were class VIII students at one of the Cimahi State Middle Schools, totaling 36 students in the limited trial and 72 students in the wide trial. The feasibility of the LKPD developed during validation obtained very valid results. The results of the practicality test in the limited trial were categorized as practical and in the extensive trial it was found to show the very practical category. The results obtained from the effectiveness of the LKPD showed that it was in the very effective category. Based on the research conducted, the results of the LKPD are shown flat-sided spatial building material based on an assisted scientific approach GeoGebra declared feasible, practical and effective for use.

Abstract

Fraction division is one of the most difficult subjects in elementary school. Not only elementary students but many prospective teachers don’t understand the fraction division concept yet—most of them using a keep-change-flip algorithm to solve fraction division problems. A study using rectangle representation was conducted by us to prospective teachers. This study aims to see whether this rectangle representation will make prospective teachers understand or not. To do so, we made a mixed-method study with 80 prospective teachers as participants. The results show that 53,75% of prospective teachers use the keep-change-flip algorithm without understanding the concept of fraction division, and just 15% of prospective teachers understand fraction division. We assume that most prospective teachers still can’t imagine how fraction division works in a real-life context. They remember what they used to do to finish the fraction division problem that their teacher has introduced in primary school. Based on the results, we conclude that the study with rectangle representation still needs an improvement, whether the teacher’s explanation or the rectangle media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimotivasi oleh kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang disebabkan karena kurangnya pengalaman mereka dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pemecahan masalah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah dengan menerapkan model problem based learning dalam pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial yang membahas masalah sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 28 siswa kelas V di SDN Solokan Jeruk 02. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes uraian pretest-posttest yang menilai kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah sosial dengan mengacu pada empat indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pretest adalah 50,78 dan posttest adalah 75,07, dengan persentase rata-rata pretest sebesar 60% dan posttest sebesar 89%, menunjukkan peningkatan persentase skor rata-rata sebesar 29%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas V dalam menyelesaikan masalah pada pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial materi masalah sosial.

Abstract

Understanding mathematical concepts in multiplication material are indispensable for solving mathematical problems as well as a prerequisite for the next higher material. Based on several studies the lack of students understanding the multiplication concepts is due to internal factors such as the lack of student motivation and external factors such as the lack of innovative learning media used by teachers. Therefore, the approach using ICT (Information and Collaboration Technologies) is expected to be impactful and the development of today's education. This study aims to see the impact of hybrid learning assisted by Google Site and QR Code model on understanding the concept ability of multiplication. This study used quantitative methods with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 3rd-grade elementary school students with a sampling technique using purposive sampling of as many as 34 students. From this research, it is known that the use of hybrid learning assisted by Google Site and QR Code model impacts understanding concept ability of multiplication which is characterized by an increase in the achievement of results by 0.5 or with moderate interpretation, as well as students' understanding of the multiplication concept and the causes of students' difficulties in understanding the multiplication concept. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the impact of using a hybrid learning assisted by Google Site and QR Code model is an increasing understanding concept ability of multiplication. In the use of hybrid learning assisted by Google Sites and QR Code model, students found difficulties in understanding the concept ability of multiplication. This is shown by students not being able to distinguish multiplier numbers and multiplied numbers, difficulty in interpreting the language of the problem, and still lacking numeracy literacy.
