Abstract

Many strategies that can be used to increase sales and attract consumers to buy products offered by manufacturers. One strategy that is widely used by companies is the marketing mix strategy. Marketing activities that focus on product self-focus, pricing, distribution policies, and means of promotion are known as the marketing mix or Marketing Mix. This study aims to evaluate the internal evaluation and indicators of the appropriate marketing mix strategy and is applied to increase the sales volume at Griya Manik-Manik Kaca Plumbon. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method, by collecting data directly from the company by making observations, interviews according to the research subject. The results showed that the strategy adopted by Griya Manik-Manik Kaca Plumbon has worked well, where the four marketing strategy variables support and complement each other, and have different roles in marketing their products. We recommend that the owner of the Plumbon Griya Glass Bead UMKM should be upgraded with the marketing mix that has been applied. The strategy used by the company is good, but it would be better if the company plans to continue to improve strategies considering that many other competitors have issued similar products.

Abstract

It is known that today's transportation is very diverse. There are a lot of options that customers can choose according to their preferences and budget. PT KAI DAOP 8 Surabaya was chosen as the research object because it is a large transportation company that has been established for a long time in the Surabaya City area. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of service quality (X1) and facilities (X2) on customer loyalty (Y) through customer satisfaction (Z). The data collected is in numerical form and analyzed using SPSS, so the method used is quantitative. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and documentation. The population of this study are people who have used the services of PT KAI DAOP 8 Surabaya. The research sample was 100 respondents. The research results show that service quality and facilities have a significant effect on customer loyalty. The quality of service and facilities significantly influences customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction significantly influences customer loyalty. The quality of services and facilities affects customer loyalty indirectly and significantly through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the extent to which product quality, brand image, and price influence customer satisfaction among Nike shoe consumers in Surabaya. The population for this study was determined to be 674,564 Surabaya residents in the year 2022. Data collection was done using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique employed was non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling. The sample criteria included Surabaya residents aged 20 to 34 who use Nike shoes. The study utilized validity testing, reliability testing using Cronbach’s alpha, normality testing using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, multicollinearity testing, heteroskedasticity testing using scatterplot methods, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, simultaneous (F) test, and partial (T) test. All statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 23. The results of this study indicate that product quality, brand image, and price collectively have a significant impact on customer satisfaction, with an effect size of 37.744. Specifically, product quality and price individually significantly influence customer satisfaction, with effect sizes of 3.750 and 5.634, respectively. However, the brand image variable does not significantly affect customer satisfaction, with an effect size of 1.301.

Abstract

Pabean Village, located in Dringu Subdistrict, has significant potential for developing creative economy-based tourism. However, limited human resources and expertise in the tourism sector remain major obstacles to fully realizing this potential. In 2023, the UPN Mengabdi team conducted a community service program in this village, focusing on assisting in the development of educational tourism packages. The program aimed to optimize the potential of local MSMEs, crafts, culture, home industries, livestock, plantations, and agriculture in the area. Currently, the residents of Pabean Village primarily sell raw shallots, with some processing them into fried shallots. However, there have been no initiatives to transform shallots into ready-to-eat food products with higher market value. Local ingredients hold significant potential for being creatively developed into a variety of new culinary products. Based on this background, the UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur community service team designed a training program that includes: 1) Training on creating Pabean Village’s signature souvenirs, such as various ready-to-serve sambal products, and 2) Training on developing cooking class-based tourism packages, targeting families, school children, and women’s groups as the primary tourist segments

Abstract

The phenomenon of children dropping out of school is a classic problem in Indonesia which does not only occur in remote areas where access to Education is still difficult but also occurs in big cities that are easy to access. Surabaya has a fairly large APBD where 20% of the APBD is allocated for education funds. However, there are still Surabaya residents whose children drop out of school because of financial problems. This study tries to see how the Surabaya City Government reduces the dropout rate through Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar. The research method used is qualitative, and the data search process uses interviews with the Education Authority and UPT Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar. The results showed that implementing Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar could reduce children dropping out of school due to cost problems. Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar is a non-formal education that is included in equality education so that those who enter the Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar will get free Education

Abstract

Start-up sangat penting untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi inovatif dan global di era digital yang berkembang pesat. Namun, mendapatkan modal yang cukup untuk meluncurkan dan memperluas bisnis mereka adalah salah satu hambatan utama yang dihadapi para pengusaha muda. Ekspansi dan investasi yang dibutuhkan sering didukung oleh pinjaman dan bentuk penggalangan dana lainnya, seperti crowdfunding. Crowdfunding, melalui platform internet, menciptakan komunitas pelanggan yang berdedikasi serta mempercepat dan menurunkan proses pendanaan. Ekonomi dan penciptaan hal baru telah terbukti sangat menguntungkan dari crowdfunding. Meski pinjaman penting bagi start-up, hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan masalah pada struktur modal dan arus kas yang membutuhkan teknik pengendalian risiko. Stabilitas keuangan jangka panjang dan keberhasilan start-up sangat tergantung pada manajemen risiko dan biaya pinjaman. Strategi pengelolaan pinjaman meliputi perencanaan keuangan, diversifikasi pendanaan, negosiasi syarat, dan evaluasi berkala untuk menjaga kesehatan finansial dan operasional secara efektif. Start-up dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksi mereka, mengurangi dampak negatif pada skor kredit, dan menggunakan pinjaman untuk investasi strategis dengan pendekatan manajemen yang tepat dan hati-hati. Penelitian bermetode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dari sumber yang telah ada digunakan sebagai bahan dasar dan acuan penyusunan artikel, dengan tujuan menjadikan start-up dapat mengoptimalkan pinjaman untuk mencapai pertumbuhan berkelanjutan dan stabil dalam jangka panjang, serta meningkatkan daya saing di pasar global. Kata kunci: Pinjaman, Start-up, dampak, strategi

Abstract

This study aims to improve the competitiveness of Cleanwear shoe washing services Surabaya City branch through SWOT analysis, namely strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, and data collection was carried out through data narratives, namely interviews (oral and written), observation, and documentation. The principle of suitability and adequacy is based on the research of informants. There are five informants who serve as the basis of this study. Results show that the current state of Cleanwear is in quadrant 1, which indicates that the company is in a favorable condition because the company has the ability to select multiple opportunities at this time to enable optimal expansion, growth, and progress. In this condition, the Surabaya branch of Cleanwear faces a huge market opportunity. The strategy that must be carried out is to minimize internal problems so that it can seize better market opportunities.

Abstract

Proses bisnis yang optimal dan efisien merupakan kunci keberhasilan perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan strategisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengimplementasikan optimalisasi proses bisnis melalui pendekatan Business Process Excellence (BPE) di PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan kinerja perusahaan. Data diperoleh melalui kegiatan magang yang berfokus pada penyempurnaan dokumentasi proses bisnis, pengembangan dashboard daftar induk dokumen, serta sistem pelaporan kinerja BPE. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi dalam pengelolaan dokumen, seperti penerapan dashboard interaktif berbasis Excel, mampu meningkatkan efisiensi monitoring dan pengambilan keputusan. Selain itu, standarisasi format dokumen prosedur dan instruksi kerja membantu meningkatkan kepatuhan terhadap kebijakan perusahaan serta mempermudah implementasi operasional di lapangan. Kolaborasi lintas departemen, khususnya dengan Business Process Owner (BPO), berperan penting dalam menyelesaikan proyek ini dengan lebih cepat dan tepat sasaran. Meskipun dihadapkan pada tantangan berupa keterbatasan pengetahuan awal terhadap sistem dan fitur analitik, pembelajaran mandiri dan bimbingan mentor memungkinkan peserta magang mengatasi kendala tersebut dengan baik. Kesimpulannya, optimalisasi proses bisnis melalui pendekatan BPE memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap efisiensi operasional dan kinerja perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Studi ini juga menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi dan adaptasi teknologi dalam mendukung transformasi bisnis yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The Service industry sector has a very important role in economic growth and development. The service industry provides convenience in every aspect of life, both economic aspects, social aspects, and political aspects. Transportation, telecommunications, banking, education, health services, construction services, and tourism are some examples of service industries that play an important role in a nation's economic development. Among the many service businesses currently developing, transportation services are a promising business, both land, sea, and air transportation. In this research, quantitative descriptive methods were used. The data collection method in this research was carried out utilizing observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature study, and data processing was carried out with the help of the SPSS 25 program. So, the results of the t-test that was carried out in this research were obtained, so it can be concluded that there is an influence that digital marketing strategy variables have on bus ticket sales at PT Rosalia Indah Transport Surakarta-Central Java.

Abstract

The rapid development of the retail business in Indonesia is closely linked to shifts in consumer shopping behavior. One of the retail brands actively competing in this dynamic environment is Sports Station, which specializes in the sale of various sports-related products. This study aims to examine the influence of product diversity, store atmosphere, and service quality on customer satisfaction at Sports Station Galaxy Mall Surabaya. This research adopts a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to selected respondents, and statistical processing was conducted using SPSS version 18. The primary analytical method employed in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study reveal that product diversity, store atmosphere, and service quality have a simultaneous and statistically significant influence on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the partial (t-test) results indicate that each of the independent variables—product diversity, store atmosphere, and service quality—also has a significant individual effect on customer satisfaction at Sports Station Galaxy Mall Surabaya.
