Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) merupakan kelainan metabolik yang dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi, termasuk ulkus diabetikum. Hiperglikemia yang persisten dapat mengakibatkan kelainan vaskuler dan metabolik serta mempengaruhi kinerja sumsum tulang sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan pada profil hematologi pada pasien diabetes mellitus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi kadar glukosa darah dengan profil hematologi pada pasien DM dengan ulkus diabetikum. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimental laboratorik dengan menggunakan 30 sampel darah pasien diabetes mellitus di Rumah Luka Wonoayu Sidoarjo, yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Pemeriksaan profil hematologi menggunakan metode otomatis dengan alat hematology analyzer, pemeriksaan glukosa darah dengan metode point of care testing (POCT), pemeriksaan laju endap darah dengan metode Westergreen. Pada uji korelasi regresi berganda diperoleh hasil terdapat hubungan bermakna antara glukosa darah dengan hemoglobin (p = 0,013), hematokrit (p = 0,011), MCV (p = 0,044), MCH (p = 0,048), dan LED (p = 0,010). Namun tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara glukosa darah dengan jumlah eritrosit (p = 0,997), MCHC (p = 0,152), jumlah leukosit (p = 0,082), dan jumlah trombosit (p = 0,484). Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat korelasi yang sedang (r = 0,422) antara kadar glukosa darah dengan profil hematologi pada pasien diabetes mellitus dengan ulkus diabetikum.

Abstract

Covid-19 merupakan penyakit baru di tahun 2019 yang saat ini menjadi pandemi. C-Reactive Protein (CRP) dan procalcitonin merupakan beberapa penanda inflamasi akut dan meningkat pada kelompok pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara hasil pemeriksaan CRP dengan Procalcitonin pada pasien terkonfirmasi Covid-19. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu cross sectional. Sampel sebanyak 50 diambil dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder hasil pemeriksaan CRP dan Procalcitonin metode Rate Scattering Turbidimetric pada pasien terkonfirmasi Covid-19 yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit Aisyiyah Siti Fatimah Tulangan Sidoarjo pada bulan November 2020- Januari 2021. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik korelasi spearman dan didapatkan hasil yaitu terdapat korelasi CRP dengan Procalcitonin (p value=0,005, r= 0,393). Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah terdapat korelasi yang cukup antara kadar CRP dengan procalcitonin pada pasien terkonfirmasi Covid-19 dan signifikan secara statistik.

Abstract

At the end of 2019, a new virus emerged from Wuhan, China named Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The key to viral infection to host cells is the use of the ACE2 receptor. This study aimed to explore the potential of drugs in Annona muricata plant using the Insilico method. Compounds obtained from KNApSAcK Based on the analysis using SwissADME (Lipinski creteria)criteria. 22 compounds passed the selection. Eight ligands were identified as being able to change the conformation of the initial form of RBD and ACE2 attachment. Eight molecules are able to change the initial conformation, namely Asimilobine, Coreximine, (+)-Stepharine, Coclaurine, Norcorydine, N- Nornuciferinhe, methoxyphenyl)methyl]-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolin-5-ol, and Atherosperminine.

Abstract

Erythrocyte index is a laboratory examination in establishing the diagnosis of anemia including MCV, MCH, and MCHC obtained from the calculation of hemoglobin, hematocrit, and the number of erythrocytes. This study aims to determine differences in the value of the erythrocyte index in venous and capillary blood. This research is an experimental laboratory study, the sample was examined at the Ar-Rahmah Tulangan Clinic in Sidoarjo in March 2020. The examination method used in this study was automatic. Blood samples were taken from 30 patients so that a total of 60 blood samples (30 venous blood and 30 capillary blood). The results of the examination with the Mann Withney test showed a significant difference in the value of MCV (p = 0.001) and MCH (p = 0.001) and there was no difference in the value of MCHC (p = 0.251).

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease when the body cannot use insulin or cannot produce insulin enough, and glucose level in the blood increases. Diabetic ulcers are open sores on the skin surface caused by complications of macroangiophaty which can lead to neurophaty and vascular insufficiency. This study aims to determine the relationship between transaminase enzyme levels and Gamma GT in diabetes mellitus patients with diabetic foot ulcers. The sample used in this study was 30 patients with diabetes mellitus with diabetic foot ulcers. Research samples were obtained at Rumah Luka Sidoarjo and examined in the Hematology Laboratory of the Faculty of Health Sciences Muhammadiyah University in March 2021. SGOT and SGPT examination used the UV Enzymatic method, while the Gamma GT examination used the Enzymatic colorimetric method. In the Correlation-Regression test, it was found that there was no significant relationship (p=0,481) between SGOT Gamma GT, but there was a significant relationship (p=0,037) between SGPT and Gamma GT. Conclusion there is a moderate correlation (r=0,413) between transaminase anzymes and gamma GT in diabetes mellitus patients with diabetic foot ulcers.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is disease caused by a disorder of glucose metabolism. At present, diabetes mellitus is health problem in the world. Increased blood glucose levels can increase the risk of complications of various organs, one of which is cardiovascular disease. This study aims to determine the relationship between cholesterol total levels and triglycerides with blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. This type of research is observational analytic with cross sectional design. A total of 45 samples were selected selectively at Aisyiyah Siti Fatimah Tulangan Hospital in January 2016-February 2018. Abstract

Electrolytes play an important role in the human body that can affect metabolism. Sample handling more than two hours in examination electrolyte levels would lead to less accurate results. This study aims to determine the effect of long delays serum examination of the levels of electrolytes sodium and chloride for 0, 3, 5, and 7 hours. This research was conducted with an experimental method using 32 serum samples. Results of sodiumand chloride levels after an increase in deferred examination. The mean 0 hour sodium level is 142.55 mmol/L, 3-hour sodium level is 143.18 mmol/L, 5-hour sodium level is 143.91 mmol/L and 7-hour sodium level is 144.41 mmol/L. The mean 0 hour chloride level is 97.66 mmol/L, 3-hour chloride level is 99.96 mmol/L, 5- hour chloride level is 103.62 mmol/L and 7-hour chloride level is 107.55 mmol/L. This study reflected thatthere is no effect of delaying serum on sodium levels, and there is an effect of delaying serum on chloride levels.

Abstract

Electrolyte is a chemical substance that dissociates in the liquid into charged particles of positive and negative ions. In the laboratory, conditions are often found that make an examination not immediately carried out after sampling. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in serum examination time intervals on Potassium and Chloride electrolyte levels for 0, 4, 8 and 24 hours at room temperature (20-25℃). This study used a laboratory experimental method with a sample of 32 samples. This research was conducted at the Bhayangkara Hospital Pusdik Brimob Watukosek Laboratory. Examination of Potassium and Chloride electrolyte levels using the OPTI CCA-TS Analyzer. The results of the One Way Anova test for Potassium electrolyte levels obtained a significance p value of = 0,199 meaning that there was no effect of variations in serum examination time intervals on Potassium electrolyte levels, while Chloride electrolyte levels obtained a significance value of p = 0,002 meaning that there is an effect of variations in serum examination time intervals on Chloride electrolyte levels.

Abstract

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is a condition where there are microorganisms that multiply in the urinary tract causing inflammation and bacteriuria. The delay in the examination results in an error in diagnosis, the examination must be carried out >1 hour and a maximum of 2 hours after the voiding process at a temperature of 20-25℃ and the delay can be done a maximum of 4 hours at a temperature of 2-8℃. The study was conducted in June 2022. The study was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pandaan. UTI sampling at Sahabat Hospital in Suwayuwo Sukorejo. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of delay time and storage temperature on the results of urine leukocyte examination in UTI patients. This study used an experimental method using 35 urine samples. The statistical test used the Two Way Anova test with a 95% confidence level and the inaccuracy limit of (α) = 0.05. Based on the results of the Two Way Anova test between storage temperature and delay in urine leukocytes, a significance value of 0.981 (p>0.05), it can be concluded that Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted, meaning that there is no interaction effect between the length of time delay and storage temperature on leukocyte results. urine in UTI patients.

Abstract

The examination parameters used as a detection of impaired kidney function are ureum, creatinine, and uric acid. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of serum storage duration at room temperature on creatinine and uric acid levels. The study was conducted by experimental method using 32 serum samples. The data obtained by one wayAnova statistical analysis on creatinine examination showed a significance value of p = 0.009 (p<0.05) meaning that there was an influence of the length of serum storage on creatinine levels at room temperature, while in uric acid levels showed a significance value of p = 0.047 (p<0.05) meaning that there was an influence of serum storage duration on uric acid levels at room temperature. The conclusions on the examination of creatinine and uric acid levels had a significant effect on the delay of the treatment group of 0 hours and 24 hours.
