Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the variables of achievement needs, self efficacy and instrument readiness to student entrepreneur intentions. Using a quantitative approach, this study analyzes the differences of entrepreneurial interest between students of Prodi ES and students of MBS Program in STAIN Kudus. The results of this study indicate that the need for achievement and preparation of the instrument has no significant effect on the intention of the entrepreneur, both the students of Prodi ES and the students of MBS Prodi. While the self efficacy has a significant effect on the intention of entrepreneur, both students of Prodi ES and students of MBS Prodi. While the analysis of multiple correlation, indicating that the needs of achievement, preparation of instruments and self efficacy together significantly influence the intentions of entrepreneurship students Prodi ES and MBS. The three independent variables have an effect on the entrepreneurship intention of 21.6%. The rest, as much as 78.4% influenced by other variables. While in the MBS students simultaneously the three independent variables affect the entrepreneurial intention of 38.8%. Moreover, 61.2% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This paper examines conceptually integrated charactereducation related to basic education, both in general/Islamicelementary school. Character education includes a set of valueswhich will be implemented on learning. The alignment betweensubjects becomes the important points in the implementationstrategy of character values for students in elementary education.Some values, such as honesty, independence, tolerance, respectare expected as the character of the learning process. Theimplementation of character education in primary school could bedone with some methods: inculcation, modeling, facilitation, andskill building. The basic subjects such as Indonesian, Science, SocialStudies until citizenship education are designed by an integratedcharacter approach. The role of teachers, education managers,family, community and government is critical in equippingcharacter education in basic education.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang pemikiran islam kritis yang direpresentasikan oleh dua tokoh Islam, Ali Ashghar Engineer dan Hasan Hanafi. Studi difokuskan pada dua karya tokoh tersebut, yakni buku Islam Teologi Pembebasan dan Kiri Islam. Analisis menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi, dimana konsep yang terdapat pada teks kemudian dikaji dan disimpulkan. Hasilnya, Islam sama-sama menjadi spirit, teologi, etika, dan paradigm kritis dalam memandang realitas. Paradigma kritis melihat realitas sebagai sebuah sistem yang terbangun. Perubahan social diperlukan dalam rangka membangun relasi social yang adil.

Abstract

THE  ISLAMIC  THINKING  IN  THE  CYBERSPACE (AN ANALYSIS OF THREE WEBSITE ISLAMIC ORGANIZATIONS  IN  INDONESIA).  The  shift  from physical public space in the virtual public space becomes a contestation for social organizations, including Islamic organizations. This paper intends to analyze the tendency of  the struggle of  Islamic thought to public spaces through official website of each organization Islam. As a representation of Islamic organizations, this study selected three Islamic organizations representing certain trends and typologies. Namely, Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) representing transnational fundamentalist group, the Liberal Islam Network (JIL), which is a representation of the liberal group, and the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), which represents the middle and moderate currents. This paper examines the trends and the existing contents of  the three websites, does not highlight a deeper understanding of  religious activity in the area of  empirical Islamic organizations.keywords: Public Space, Website, the Islamic Organization.Pergeseran dari ruang publik yang bersifat fisik pada ruang publik maya menjadi kontestasi bagi organisasi-organisasi sosial,  termasuk  di  dalamnya organisasi  Islam.  Tulisan ini bermaksud menganalisis kecenderungan pergulatan pemikiran Islam pada ruang publik maya melalui website resmi masing-masing organisasi Islam. Sebagai representasi dari organisasi-organisasi Islam, dalam kajian ini dipilih tiga organisasi Islam yang mewakili kecenderungan dan tipologi tertentu. Yaitu, Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) yang mewakili kelompok fundamentalis-transnasional, Jaringan Islam Liberal (JIL) yang merupakan representasi dari kelompok liberal, dan Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) yang mewakili arus tengah dan moderat. Tulisan ini hanya mengkaji kecenderungan dan konten yang ada dalam tiga website tersebut, tidak menyoroti lebih  mendalam tentang  aktivitas  keberagamaan  organisasi Islam di wilayah empiris.kata kunci: Ruang Publik, Website, Organisasi Islam.

Abstract

Abstract THE TRADITION OF BEGGING: STRIFE BETWEEN ECONOMICS AND RELIGION (THE STUDY OF SOCIETY BEGGING BEHAVIOR IN DEMAK). This paper is the result of a research about the begging behavior which has been done by the villagers of village Asinan, Demak. Perpetrators of begging or known by the term “wama-wama” generally were affected by economic and religious motifs. This economic motivation deals with how to earn money easily, spend few modal as well as capital gain. While religious motivations related to the perception of the perpetrators who believe that what they do is part of the rituals of the religion. In terms of the mode and form of behavior “wama-wama” varies, as accompany a mosque dome in a process, using city kamal, bring proposals and envelope models. But in general that is widely used is a proposal model. The mode is bringing a proposal of mosque and boarding school building. They deposit an amount of money that has been determined by the organizers, while the rest was the right of the offender.

Abstract

SPIRITUALITY ANALYSIS OF BLESSING SEEKERS (A STUDY ON THE MOTIVATION OF PILGRIMS AT THE GRAVE OF SUNAN KALIJAGA KADILANGU DEMAK). For the people of Islam-Java, pilgrimage to the religious leader grave is believed to be the religiuos tradition. Sunan Kalijaga was one of the Walisongo which the grave is in Kadilangu area, close to the complex of the great mosque of Demak. The pilgrims who visit the Kadilangu grave have some motivation behind the spirituality behavior of blessing seekers. This paper summarizes some of the motivation of the pilgrims at the grave of Sunan Kalijaga. Some of them are the motivations of religion, religious tourism, seeking blessings, wasilah in praying, tolak bala ‘, spiritual practice, and look for the crowd. So there are still many other motivations that haven’t been covered in this study.

Abstract

  Social media nowadays has been inevitably used by people in the world. It plays significant roles for human’s society including as the way of marketing and trading of products. The aim of this study was mainly to explore the prospects of using social media in driving and developing women’s entrepreneurship, its challenges and strategies. This present study anchored in a qualitative research. Data were garnered through semi-structured interviews to Indonesian women living in Kudus, Central Java, Indonesia running their online entrepreneurship as the additional job not the main ones. The results of the study revealed that the prospects of using social media cover it is beneficial for women’s entrepreneurship in improving sales and pursuing the innovation in their online business, it offers others to be reseller in a number of products and it allows the women to develop their online entrepreneurship. However, there are a number of challenges of using social media in online entrepreneurship including the emergence of negative comments and complaints about the products from costumers that will lead to decrease the reputation of business, poor connection of internet which may hinder a better business management, and the lack of knowledge about social media and team that can hinder these women entrepreneurs to handle their customers’ inquiries. Some strategies that need to be taken into account in online women’s entrepreneurship cover women entrepreneurs are supposed to upload new and up-to-date products, give best services to customers, collaborate with Shopee application (online shopping platform) in which they will get less risk in online business through its system and increase their innovation through online business class and trainings. The findings of the study offer an implication to the need of being innovative through the use of technology and social media in running online entrepreneurship particularly for women entrepreneurs since its flexibility and benefits as one of the ways to get additional income.

Abstract

This paper examines the education of good netizens through a hidden curriculum. The tendency of internet citizens who prefer to spread insults, hatred and even slander, is a problem for the school. Through an excellent netizen-based education strategy, students can be equipped with the values and character of how to use the internet and become good internet citizens. Procedures that can be done in building good netizens through hidden curricula, namely schools are expected to have an educational ideology oriented to multiculturalism, as well as a school culture that is paradigmatic of love and affection. Besides, the teacher must be able to be a good example, through the learning process, always tucking in the value of tolerance and ethics of internet usage. Finally, schools are expected to be able to build a favorable organizational climate.

Abstract

The creative economy is a new feature of the informationtechnology era. Ecotourism is one of the developments of thetourism sector that emphasizes conservation and the environment.“Cengklik” Mountain Ecotourism, in this case, is an effortto develop the village’s creative economy, which is driven bymillennial generation youth. With a descriptive qualitativeapproach, several strategies for the development of “Cengklik”Mountain ecotourism were obtained, namely by innovating anddeveloping creativity that was able to attract visitors, makemassive promotions, add attractive spots, socialization anddevelopment, reforestation, cooperation with other parties, andprocurement of sanitation facilities and pointing maps.
