Abstract

Sistem saraf manusia merupakan jaringan kompleks yang terdiri dari sistem saraf pusat (otak dan sumsum tulang belakang) serta sistem saraf tepi, berfungsi sebagai pusat kendali seluruh aktivitas tubuh. Otak, sebagai organ utama, terbagi menjadi cerebrum (fungsi kognitif dan emosi), cerebellum (koordinasi motorik), dan batang otak (fungsi vital), yang bekerja secara terintegrasi melalui komunikasi antar neuron. Sistem saraf mengatur fungsi sensorik, motorik, kognitif, dan homeostasis tubuh dengan bantuan neurotransmiter seperti dopamin, serotonin, dan GABA. Gangguan pada keseimbangan neurotransmiter atau struktur saraf dapat menyebabkan penyakit neurologis, seperti skizofrenia, epilepsi, atau autisme, sehingga pemahaman mendalam tentang mekanisme ini penting untuk pengembangan terapi. Neuron sebagai unit fungsional sistem saraf berkomunikasi melalui sinapsis, didukung oleh sel glia yang menjaga kestabilan lingkungan saraf. Sistem saraf juga memiliki kemampuan neuroplastisitas, memungkinkan adaptasi, pembelajaran, dan pemulihan dari kerusakan. Penelitian neurosains terus berkembang untuk mengungkap mekanisme molekuler dan seluler sistem saraf, membuka peluang terapi inovatif bagi gangguan neurologis. Pemahaman tentang keterkaitan otak, sistem saraf tepi, dan fungsi tubuh sangat penting dalam bidang kesehatan, pendidikan, dan rehabilitasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup manusia.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah's approach to Javanese culture is often the subject of discussion in the context of the relationship between religion and local traditions. The main problem raised in this research is how Muhammadiyah selects, accommodates, and assimilates Javanese traditions with the Islamic theological principles it promotes. This research aims to analyze Muhammadiyah's theological strategy in responding to Javanese traditions and its contribution to Javanese society at large. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data was collected through literature studies from relevant primary and secondary sources, including official Muhammadiyah documents, scientific journals, as well as the results of previous research. The research results show that Muhammadiyah adopts a selective approach to Javanese traditions, maintaining cultural elements that do not conflict with Islamic creeds and modifying certain traditions for the sake of da'wah. This approach produces significant contributions in the fields of education and social and cultural arts, as well as creating harmony between religion and local culture. This study emphasizes the importance of dialogue between universal Islamic values and local wisdom as a basis for building an inclusive and civilized society.

Abstract

Advances in neuroscience have opened new horizons in education, particularly in understanding how the brain works in the learning process. This article examines the integration of neuroscientific findings with Islamic educational values ​​in designing effective, adaptive, and holistic learning strategies. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this article explores the concepts of brain function, the principles of neuroplasticity, and the role of emotions in learning, then links them to Islamic views on reason, spirit, and the formation of a perfect human being. The study results indicate that the learning process is strongly influenced by brain structure and function, including the involvement of emotions and meaningful experiences. Islamic education, through the concepts of reason and heart, aligns with a neuroscientific approach in developing a learning system based on compassion, personalization, and spirituality. Therefore, Islamic teachers and educational institutions need to understand the fundamentals of neuroscience to create adaptive and spiritually meaningful learning.

Abstract

Islamic education is a dynamic discipline that stands on three main pillars: normative, historical and philosophical sources. This article aims to analyze the characteristics of these three sources and how they are integrated to form a holistic Islamic education system. Through the library research method, it is found that normative sources (the Qur'an and Hadith) provide the foundation of absolute values, historical sources provide the empirical context and institutional evolution, while philosophical sources offer a framework for critical thinking about the nature of man and science. The study results show that the dichotomy between normative and historical aspects can be bridged through integrative-interconnective epistemology. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the contemporary Islamic education curriculum must be able to dialogue the eternal revelation with the changing reality of the times in order to remain relevant and progressive.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the development of a competency-based Islamic Education (PAI) curriculum as an effort to enhance students’ character. The urgency of this research is based on the increasingly complex moral and social challenges faced by the younger generation, indicating that Islamic Education learning should not only focus on mastery of subject matter but also on the formation of attitudes and behaviors. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method and descriptive analysis of the concept of competency-based curriculum and its implementation in Islamic Education learning. The findings reveal that a competency-based PAI curriculum emphasizes the integration of spiritual attitudes, social attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The strengthening of students’ character is carried out through the integration of religious values, honesty, discipline, responsibility, and tolerance into learning objectives, learning materials, active learning strategies, and authentic assessment systems. Therefore, the development of a competency-based PAI curriculum plays a strategic role in shaping students who possess strong character, noble morals, and the ability to internalize and practice Islamic values in their daily lives.

Abstract

The ability to write scientific articles and their publications requires continuous training, as part of the functional workforce requires these skills to support future career development. Therefore, this activity aims to provide training to the ruler in West Pasaman Regency in terms of writing and publication of scientific works. The activity is carried out with training, technically the service team provides theoretical explanations and demonstrates the steps of submitating articles to the targeted journal. The result of this activity is that trainees know the types of scientific work, platforms that can help write scientific articles, steps to submit articles in targeted journals.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari perubahan orientasi pemikiran Muhammadiyah yang awalnya berkarakter puritan, berfokus pada pemurnian ajaran Islam dari praktik bid’ah, khurafat, dan tahayul. Seiring perkembangan globalisasi dan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan, Muhammadiyah mengalami perluasan perspektif menuju sikap yang lebih kosmopolitan dan terbuka terhadap keragaman budaya serta kerja sama lintas iman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dinamika pergeseran tersebut tanpa mengubah substansi pemikiran dasar Muhammadiyah. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah karya-karya ilmiah dan dokumen yang relevan mengenai puritanisme, kosmopolitanisme, dan gerakan Muhammadiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran ini merupakan proses gradual yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Sikap kosmopolitan tidak menghilangkan komitmen Muhammadiyah terhadap pemurnian ajaran Islam, tetapi memperkuat peran dan kontribusinya dalam konteks global.

Abstract

Khususnya dalam hal pendidikan, lingkungan memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan otak. Pertumbuhan fisik, mental, dan emosional seseorang semuanya dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan otaknya. Otak tidak diragukan lagi adalah pusat kecerdasan. Sejak lahir, pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan otak. Fungsi otak sangat bergantung pada pembentukan koneksi antara sel-sel saraf oleh saraf dan cabang-cabangnya. Stimulasi dini berdampak pada perkembangan otak. Lingkungan fisik, sosial, dan emosional semuanya memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan otak. Metode Kualitatif merupakan metode yang digunakan dan memiliki dengan desain penelitian studi literature atau library research. Kemudian dilakukan dengan meninjau sumber bacaan yang terkait dengan topik penelitian yang dibahas, serta dengan meninjau studi dokumen dari penelitian sebelumnya yang berkaitan konsep. Data dikumpulkan dengan melihat buku-buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan sumber digital. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian yaitu Perkembangan otak adalah salah satu aspek pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia yang secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh variabel lingkungan. Genetika dan lingkungan berinteraksi secara rumit untuk menentukan perkembangan otak. Sejak janin masih dalam kandungan hingga bayi lahir, usia 0 hingga 1 tahun, 2 hingga 3 tahun, 4 hingga 5 tahun, proses perkembangan otak akan berlangsung dalam beberapa fase. Lingkungan rumah/keluarga, serta lingkungan sekolah dan pendidikan, memiliki pengaruh terhadap proses perkembangan otak.

Abstract

Abstrak Artikel ini meneliti hubungan dialektis antara Muhammadiyah dan budaya Jawa periode awal berdirinya organisasi, yaitu 1912–1930. Studi ini muncul dari kebutuhan untuk memahami interaksi Islam modernis dengan konteks budaya lokal, sekaligus menantang stigma historis yang memandang Muhammadiyah sebagai gerakan puritan anti-budaya. Novelti buku ini terletak pada perspektif revisionis yang menunjukkan bahwa Muhammadiyah awal tidak menolak budaya Jawa, tetapi bersikap inklusif dan akomodatif terhadap praktik budaya yang tidak bertentangan dengan prinsip Islam. Metodologi ini bersifat historis-kualitatif, dengan pendekatan arsip dan studi literatur. Hasil, Muhammadiyah awal, dipimpin Ahmad Dahlan dan tokoh priyayi Jawa lainnya, memanfaatkan bahasa, busana, nama, dan ritual lokal sebagai sarana dakwah, sekaligus mempertahankan kemurnian akidah Islam. Pergeseran sikap terjadi setelah 1930-an akibat masuknya pengaruh ulama Minangkabau, ideologi Wahabi, dan pembentukan Majlis Tarjih, yang menjadikan organisasi lebih puritan dan syari’ah-oriented. Buku ini juga menyoroti kontribusi Muhammadiyah dalam modernisasi pendidikan dan masyarakat Jawa, serta relevansinya terhadap gagasan dakwah kultural kontemporer. Abstract This article examines the dialectical relationship between Muhammadiyah and Javanese culture during the early period of the organization's establishment, namely 1912–1930. This study arises from the need to understand the interaction between modern Islam and the local cultural context, while challenging the historical stigma that views Muhammadiyah as an anti-cultural puritanical movement. The novelty of this book lies in its revisionist perspective, which shows that early Muhammadiyah did not reject Javanese culture, but was inclusive and accommodating towards cultural practices that did not conflict with Islamic principles. The methodology is historical-qualitative, with an archival and literature study approach. The results show that early Muhammadiyah, led by Ahmad Dahlan and other Javanese priyayi figures, utilized language, clothing, names, and local rituals as means of da'wah, while maintaining the purity of Islamic doctrine. A shift in attitude occurred after the 1930s due to the influence of Minangkabau scholars, Wahhabi ideology, and the formation of the Majlis Tarjih, which made the organization more puritanical and Sharia-oriented. This book also highlights Muhammadiyah's contribution to the modernization of education and Javanese society, as well as its relevance to contemporary cultural da'wah ideas. Abstract

The development of neuroscience has significantly influenced contemporary educational studies, particularly in understanding brain development and learning processes. However, studies integrating neuroembryology and Islamic education remain limited, especially in constructing a neuro-pedagogical framework based on brain development. This study aims to analyze the integration of neuroembryology and Islamic education in developing a brain development-based neuro-pedagogical framework. This research employed a qualitative approach using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method guided by the PRISMA framework. Data were collected from scientific articles indexed in Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, DOAJ, and Google Scholar published between 2019 and 2025. A total of 42 relevant articles were analyzed using content analysis and thematic synthesis techniques. The findings reveal that neuroembryology has a significant relationship with learning readiness, emotional regulation, cognitive development, and character formation. The study also found that the principles of brain-based learning are substantially aligned with Islamic educational values such as fitrah, tarbiyah, ta’dib, tazkiyah, and akhlaq development. Based on the synthesis results, this study proposes a conceptual framework of Islamic neuro-pedagogy integrating neuroembryology, brain-based learning, and Islamic educational values into a holistic learning model. This research contributes theoretically to the integration of neuroscience and Islamic education and practically to the development of curriculum design, learning strategies, and neuroscience-based Islamic educational practices.Keyword: Neuroembryology, Islamic education, neuroscience, brain-based learning, neuro-pedagogy.
