Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah pembuatan alat praktikum hukum Ohm yang tidak hanya memfasilitasi siswa untuk melakukan praktikum hukum Ohm, melainkan juga memfasilitasi siswa untuk memiliki keterampilan berfikir tingkat tinggi / Higher Order Thinking Skilss (HOTS) melalui kegiatan praktikum. Proses pembuatan alat praktikum hukum Ohm ini melalaui tiga tahapan yaitu : merancang, membuat, dan menguji. Pada proses merancang, alat praktikum didesain sedemikian rupa agar mampu melatihkan keterampilan berfikir tingkat tinggi, utamanya pada kemampuan menganalisis dan mengkreasi. Pada proses membuat, pembuatan alat praktikum menggunakan bantuan sinar laser, agar alat praktikum tidak mudah pecah dan penampilannya bagus. Pada proses terakhir, yaitu menguji, proses penujian bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa alat praktikum dapat digunakan siswa untuk menemukan konsep hukum Ohm. Hasil proses pengujian menunjukan bahwa alat praktikum dapat digunakan untuk menemukan konsep  hukum Ohm, selain itu alat praktikum jug dapat digunakan untuk melatihkan kemampuan berfkir tingkat tinggi pada siswa.

Abstract

Kacang hijau merupakan sumber pangan yang memegang peranan penting dalam menunjang program diversi pangan. Tanaman kacang hijau memerlukan makanan agar dapat tumbuh. Untuk mendapatkan makanannnya, tanaman kacang hijau memerlukan energi dari cahaya digunakan untuk mengolah makanannya. Energi yang cukup akan membuat pertumbuhan tanaman kacang hijau maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui spektrum cahaya yang paling efektif bagi pertumbuhan tanaman kacang hijau. Media yang digunakan adalah kapas yang telah diberi air lalu disimpan pada kardus yang sisi - sisinya telah dilapisi plastik mika dengan warna sejenis lalu diletakan pada tempat yang terang. Rancangan adalah acak dengan pemberian perlakuan empat warna (merah, biru, hijau dan ungu). Penelitian dilakukan selama 4 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa spektrum cahaya yang paling efektif bagi pertumbuhan tanaman kacang hijau adalah spektrum merah.

Abstract

This study aimed to discover how the media feasibility and response of a limited trial of Trainer Kit Kapasitor (TRAKTOR)/ Capacitor trainer kit based on Science Process Skills (SPS) as a physics learning media. The method used was research and development (R&D) with the 4-D model. As a physics learning media, TRAKTOR was designed to facilitate some experiment activities, including a experiment in capacitance parallel plate capacitor, circuits of capacitors (series, parallel, series-parallel) charging-emptying capacitor. The results showed that the media is feasible to use, namely, 93.74%, which was categorized as very feasible, and the media obtained students' responses with an excellent category of 85.2%. Based on the result, TRAKTOR can facilitate students' SPS and media suitable for use as a physics learning media.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop the syntax of guided inquiry learning based on the local wisdom of the Baduy’s society, which is oriented towards student scientific literacy on environmental conservation. The method used is mixed-method with a sample in this study were 15 students. The syntax of guided inquiry learning in the implementation consists of six stages; orientation, presenting the problem, hypothesis submission, data collection, hypothesis testing, and conclusion formulation. In the orientation stage, students describe the context that comes from the local wisdom of the Baduy’s society. In presenting the problem, students asked questions about the science content related to the context of the local wisdom of the Baduy’s society, which was described earlier. In the hypothesis submission stage, the teacher asks students to submit hypotheses related to the previous questions. In the data collection stage, the teacher provides questions in the form of science content, scientific processes, and scientific attitudes to be answered by students that can be used to test hypotheses. In the hypothesis testing stage, students use the data that has been collected. In the conclusion formulation stage, students conclude the results of hypothesis testing using the data that has been collected. Implementing guided inquiry learning based on the local wisdom of the Baduy’s society can improve scientific literacy (N-Gain = 0.064). So, we can use guided inquiry learning based on the local wisdom of the Baduy’s society, which is oriented towards student scientific literacy on environmental conservation using six stages.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop Basic Physics teaching materials based on STEM, measure the feasibility of Basic Physics teaching materials based on STEM from the aspect of validity and practicality and measure the effectiveness of Basic Physics teaching materials based on STEM in improving Life Skills through student responses. This study used ADDIE model, which consists of 5 (five) steps, e.g Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Produced a teaching material based on Science, Technology, Engineering, And Mathematics (STEM) on Dynamic Electricity concept. The developed teaching materials consist of seven materials, e.g Electric Current, Electrical Measuring Instruments, Ohm's Law, Resistance of a Conductor, Circuit Resistance, Kirchoff's Law, and Dynamic Electrical Applications. Teaching materials are also equipped with practice questions, practical instructions, project worksheets and additional reading lists. The results of the validation show that the teaching materials are feasible and meet the requirements to be used in the learning process of Basic Physics. The results of the implementation of teaching materials indicate that teaching materials have an influence and can improve student life skills. The results of responses to the quality of teaching materials showed that most students gave positive responses to teaching materials and stated that Basic Physics teaching materials based on STEM for Dynamic Electricity concept had been understood and met student learning expectations.Keywords: Teaching Material, STEM, Life Skill

Abstract

Awan cumulonimbus merupakan jenis awan berbahaya yang dapat menimbulkan cuaca ekstrim seperti hujan deras, kilat dan guruh. Jenis angin yang dapat mempengaruhi adanya awan cumulonimbus adalah Vertical wind shear, dengan adanya angin ini dapat menentukan jenis badai yang terjadi. Apakah termasuk kedalam badai dengan intensitas yang hebat atau tidak. Karena semakin besar Vertical wind shear akan semakin besar juga intensitas badai yang terjadi akibat adanya awan cumulonimbus. Untuk mengetahui keterkaitan Vertical wind shear pada pertumbuhan awan cumulonimbus maka diadakannya penelitian ini  menggunakan metode data cuaca permukaan dan menggunakan metode data cuaca permukaan ini kemudian diolah menggunakan Minitab dan Wind Rose. Setelah di analisis dan diolah menggunakan beberapa software dan perhitungan menggunakan dry adiabatic lapse rate dapat ditemukan terjadinya Awan cumulonimbus yang disertai intensitas curah hujan klasifikasi sedang terdapat pada tanggal 24 Februari 2020 dengan arah angin terbanyak dari sebelah barat yang secara topografi wilayah Kabupaten Tangerang berbatasan langsung dengan Kabupaten Serang dan Lebak, Banten. Hasil pengujian menggunakan software minitab dan juga windrose yang memanfaatkan data cuaca permukaan di Stasiun Meteorologi Budiarto Curug, terbentuknya awan cumulonimbus hingga terjadi hujan memiliki variasi arah angin yang berubah-ubah dari sudut 45? sampai dengan 124? menandakan adanya arah angin yang berubah-ubah dan menimbulkan terjadinya awan cumulonimbus. Suhu yang terukur pada bola kering atau disebut dengan suhu saat ini menunjukkan nilai 21,9? C sampai dengan 30,8? C mengalami penurunan suhu akibat terjadi hujan. Hujan yang terjadi akibat adanya awan cumulonimbus berlangsung selama 2 jam, dengan intensitas curah hujan sebesar 118,6 mm dan dikategorikan sebagai hujan sedang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain information related to the distribution mapping of average rainfall in the Tangerang Regency area. Hydrological analysis is needed in determining the average rainfall in an area, one of which is by using the Isohyet method. The isohyet method is a method of making a connecting line that brings together points of the same rain depth. The research was conducted by analyzing rainfall data in the Tangerang Regency area in the last five years, namely the period 2016 to 2020. The research data were obtained from three observation stations, namely: 1. Budiarto Curug Meteorological Station, 2. Pondok Betung Climatology Station, and 3. Ciputat Region II BMKG Station.  This research was conducted in two activities, namely: 1. Rainfall data collection, and 2. Data processing using Minitab and ArcGIS applications. Based on the results of processing rainfall data for the 2016-2020 period at three observation stations, the P-Value was 0.115 and the Kolmogorof Smirnov test value was 0.103 for heading 1, P-Value was 0.115 and the Kolmogorof Smirnov test value was 0.103 for heading 2, and P-Value < 0.010 and the Kolmogorof-Smirnov test value of 0.195 for heading 3. The results of the calculation of rainfall from the three observation posts show that the rainfall in the Tangerang Regency area is normally distributed. The results of the rainfall mapping using the Isohyet method also show that the rainfall in the Tangerang Regency area is evenly distributed.

Abstract

Abstract: Every individual has their uniqueness and characteristics. Likewise, students were individuals who have uniqueness and characteristics that vary from one another. In class X in one of the high schools in Serang City, there is a variety of learning readiness it is necessary to do differentiated learning to meet this diversity so that students can optimize their potential according to their competence. The purpose of lessons is to determine the impact of the application of differentiated learning on the learning process and how it be apply in class X Biology subjects. This research uses descriptive qualitative type with the source of research information from students. Modificated of lesson plans and LKPD for Biology subjects based on differentiated learning based on the diversity of students' learning readiness. The results showed an impact on changes in the behavior of students who were more active and enthusiastic in Biology learning activities. Therefore, it can be conclude that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model based on differentiated learning readiness can be apply in class X.

Abstract

Despite the importance of scientific literacy for learning, Indonesian students typically lack adequate literacy skills. The goal of this study is to determine whether teaching methods that use live worksheets and the flipping stem class paradigm can aid students in developing their scientific literacy. A quantitative quasi-experimental research design was used for this investigation. All pupils in class XI IPA 1–5 at a high school in Serang District made up the study's population. Class XI IPA 1 served as the experimental class for this study, and class XI IPA 2 served as the control class. Pretest, posttest, and student response questionnaires were the instruments used in this study. The posttest findings revealed that the experimental class outperformed the control class in terms of average score. This is demonstrated by utilizing the t-test to assess the outcome of the final test, where the values of t-count> t-table are 5.56>2.00. The control class's N-Gain scores 0.52 in the medium category and the experiment class 0.76 in the high category. According to the results of the student response survey, learning was put to good use in 87.1% of cases. According to the research, teaching with live worksheet while having the class turn around can enhance students' reading abilities, particularly in physics classes on heat transfer materials.
