Abstract

The dominant problem encountered is the rampant use of drugs in Payakumbuh City which makes the causative factor dari drug abuse rehabilitation. Seeing the increasing number of drug use in Indonesia, there is also more damage to the younger generation in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing drug abuse in rehabilitation clients in BNN Payakumbuh City. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection was carried out by interviewing subjects totaling 4 victims of drug abuse who were undergoing rehabilitation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the factors causing the actions of drug abusers in the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Payakumbuh City were individual and environmental factors (peers). The individual factor comes from having curiosity and wanting to try drugs. From family, factors do not affect the rehabilitation client on the cause of drug abuse in the rehabilitation client in BNN Payakumbuh City. Environmental factors influence on the rehabilitation client on the causes of drug abuse. Environmental factors (peers) found that the client was in drug abuse from his peers' problems which started from introducing drugs to informants as well as inviting informants to use drugs while gathering together. Meanwhile, from the information media factor, it was found that 2 clients did not get information about drugs from the information media but 2 rehabilitation clients got news about drugs while also looking for information about drugs in the information media but did not affect the client on the cause of drug abuse in rehabilitation clients in BNN Payakumbuh City

Abstract

This article discusses the issue of unhappiness among elderly individuals due to a lack of social support and attention from their family and immediate environment. The study aims to examine the connection between family social support and the happiness of the elderly. The research method used is quantitative, using a correlational approach. The population for the study consisted of 208 individuals, with a sample size of 68 people selected through simple random sampling. The researchers employed a Likert scale to collect data on social support and happiness. Questionnaires were used for data collection, and statistical analysis was conducted using the product moment correlation test. The results indicate a significant positive relationship (rxy = 0.648, p = 0.000) between family social support and elderly happiness. In conclusion, the study establishes that there is a direct relationship between higher levels of family social support and greater happiness among the elderly. Conversely, lower levels of family social support result in decreased happiness in the elderly.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the final year students of Islamic Psychology are havenÔÇÖt a career plan for the future, still donÔÇÖt know their potential and sometimes when they are facing a difficulities or obstacles, they become unfocused and uneasy in doing their activities. This study aims to determine how the relationship between adversity quotient and career adaptability in final year students of Islamic Psychology IAIN Batusangkar. The population and sample of this study were all final year students of Islamic Psychology study program IAIN Batusangkar, totaling 34 people. The data collection technique in this study used the Career Adapt-Ability Scale (CAAS) questionnaire which had been adapted and modified by the Adversity Response Profile questionnaire. The results showed that the significance value was 0.287, with a value of r calculated (0.188) which means there is no significant relationship between adversity quotient and career adaptability in final year students of Islamic Psychology Study Program IAIN Batusangkar with the sign on the result is positive which means the higher the adversity quotient final year students, the higher their career adaptability will be.Keywords: adversity quotient, career adaptability, final year students

Abstract

Mental health is an important aspect of human well-being in living life, but is often neglected. Inhuman life, of course, there is pressure (stress) for humans to move, good stress is certainly useful forhuman survival. If bad or excessive stress causes people to experience mental health disorders suchas anxiety and depression. The era of technological and scientific development not only helps makehuman tasks easier but also increasingly separates humans from nature. The relationship betweenhumans and nature is harmonious, nature provides every need for human life and nature needs to beprotected and cared for by humans to create a good ecosystem. If there is no connection orconnectivity between humans and nature, it will certainly cause humans to experience bad stress andeven physical and psychological illnesses. Humans use various methods to reduce stress bothpharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. Natural therapy is a non-pharmacological oralternative way to reduce stress. Nature can have a positive effect on human mental health. Theresearch method used is a literature study, where the data sources come from books, articles,journals, research reports, and electronic media. The results of this research are that nature therapycan help human mental health with various activities that can be done in nature, such as walking inthe forest slowly without sound, inhaling the aroma of the forest, shouting activities, observinganimals around, meditation activities, soaking in the water. river, activities to hear the sound ofwater, water stone therapy activities, tea-drinking activities, tree-hugging activities, and art therapy(drawing or painting). These activities can help increase positive thoughts, self-acceptance, feelingsof health, calm, joy, and prosperity and reduce levels of stress anxiety, and other mental pressure

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the problem of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) on social media sothat feelings of fear, worry, and anxiety arise when something interesting is left behind, causing a person to feel like he has missed an important event/event. The purpose of this study was to determine whether therewere differences in FoMO between students and female students at the Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab andDa'wah UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar.The type of research used is aquantitative type of different test. The population in this study were1,039 students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah of UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The typeof sampling in this study was proportional sampling with a total error of 5%, so the number of samples in this study were 290 people. The data collection technique used was a Likert Scale by distributing it to students at the Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah Faculty. Data processing was carried out statistically with the help of SPSS windows version 20.The results of this study indicate that there is no significant  difference in FoMO among students at the Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. From the data obtained asignificance value (2-tailed) 0.0871 > 0.05, which means that there is no significant difference, which means that the hypothesis in this study (Ha) is rejected and (Ho) is accepted. With this the researchers obtained theresult that there were no significant differences in students and female students at the Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar.Keywords: FoMO, Student, Student

Abstract

The use of effective communication by young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers is very important because it has a very influential impact on the social development and communication skills of children. The aim of this research is to determine the use of effective communication by young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers. This research method uses qualitative methods with observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of this research show that the use of effective communication by young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers is very important due to the social development and communication skills of children. From this research it can be concluded that the use of effective communication by young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers is very important for social development as well as training social skills in children and children being able to control their own emotions. Therefore, the researcher hopes that future researchers will further develop the use of effective communication from young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers. The researcher also recommends to future researchers to use this research as a reference in conducting research on the use of effective communication in early childhood 4-5 years old in interactions with peers.

Abstract

Digital literacy in children is the ability to understand information from the various information they receive. Introducing digital literacy to children is very important, in this era children use digital technology more often. Therefore, it is important for parents to ensure that children have a good understanding of how to use technology properly and that it can be used in positive activities. The aim of this research is to find out how to use audio stories to improve digital literacy skills in children. This research can also see how parents participate in introducing digital literacy to children, this media can help children develop developmental aspects in children. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research provide important knowledge about research developments related to the development of digital literacy. Children can understand listening and improving words, retelling and most importantly children can express what is on their mind and use language that is easy for children and other people to understand. Researchers can conclude that it is very important to instill digital literacy in children from a young age because this development is very important to be instilled from a young age, this development is very influential on cognitive development in early childhood.

Abstract

The family is the first and main educational environment for children because that is where children start with everything until they suffer and understand that all of this cannot be separated from the family's responsibilities. So the aim of this research is to build good relationships, positive and open interaction between parents and children can help build good relationships. This research uses a correlation type quantitative research method that connects the relationship between parents and children in developing effective communication in early childhood at IT Puti Tareno Bayan Kindergarten. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between parent and child interactions in developing effective communication in early childhood.
