Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between compensation, work environment, job satisfaction, and employee performance at PT Paskomnas Niaga Utama using a path analysis model with Smart PLS software version 4.1.0.0. The exogenous variables considered are compensation and work environment, while the endogenous variables examined are job satisfaction and employee performance. This research also investigates the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between compensation, work environment, and employee performance. The study utilizes a non-probability sampling approach, specifically a saturated sample of 75 respondents, and adopts a quantitative post facto method. The findings reveal that compensation and work environment have a significant positive impact on job satisfaction and employee performance. Additionally, job satisfaction plays a crucial mediating role in the relationship between compensation, work environment, and employee performance. These results contribute to a deeper understanding of the factors influencing job satisfaction and employee performance within the context of PT Paskomnas Niaga Utama. The practical implications of this research emphasize the importance for companies to prioritize compensation strategies and create conducive work environments to enhance employee satisfaction and performance, ultimately facilitating the achievement of organizational goals. However, it's essential to acknowledge the limitations of the study, such as the reliance on a specific sampling method and the potential for other unexplored variables to influence the outcomes. Further research could address these limitations and provide a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics at play.

Abstract

Employee performance and loyalty are fundamental aspects that support organizational effectiveness, especially in the security services industry, where discipline and consistency are highly demanded. This study aims to analyze the influence of workload, motivation, and compensation on employee performance, as well as the mediating role of performance in influencing employee loyalty. The research was conducted on security personnel at PT Sigap Prima Astrea located in the Astra Biz Center. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey method with total sampling involving 48 respondents. Data was collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the causal relationships between variables. The findings indicate that compensation has a positive and significant impact on performance, while motivation plays an important role in strengthening loyalty. On the other hand, workload does not have a significant impact on either performance or loyalty, and performance itself does not significantly influence loyalty. These results highlight that well-designed compensation schemes and effective motivation strategies are more impactful in improving performance and building loyalty than workload management. This study contributes to management practices by providing insights for more targeted human resource policy formulation, especially in security service companies. The originality of this research lies in the simultaneous testing of workload, motivation, and compensation with performance as a mediating variable, which is rarely applied in the context of the security services industry.

Abstract

The advancement of technology and digitalization has broadened access to various investment instruments, driving greater participation in investment activities, especially among younger generations. This shift highlights a contrast between classical investment theory, which emphasizes rational decision-making, and real-world investor behavior often influenced by trends, emotions, and phenomena like fear of missing out. This study aims to compare the performance of Bitcoin, LQ45 index stocks, and Antam gold using recent data, including local gold prices. A comparative analysis approach is used to evaluate which investment yields the best performance. The findings, based on the Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen methods, reveal notable performance differences. Bitcoin achieved the highest Sharpe ratio, reflecting high potential returns relative to total risk, making it attractive for high-risk-tolerant investors. Antam Gold ranked highest on the Treynor ratio, indicating its strength in generating returns relative to market risk (beta), and serving as a more stable option for conservative investors. LQ45 stocks excelled using the Jensen method, showing their ability to deliver returns above market expectations, ideal for fund managers seeking to outperform benchmarks. This research reinforces the importance of aligning investment instrument choices with individual risk profiles and financial goals.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between financial literacy, fintech usage, and digital shopping behavior among Generation Z university students in Indonesia, as well as the mediating role of fintech usage in this relationship. Data were collected from student respondents using purposive sampling and analyzed with path analysis. The results indicate that financial literacy significantly increases fintech usage, and fintech usage positively influences digital shopping behavior. The direct effect of financial literacy on digital shopping behavior becomes insignificant when fintech usage is included in the model, indicating that fintech usage fully mediates this relationship. These findings suggest that financial literacy encourages students to be more active in using fintech, and it is the intensity of fintech usage that drives their digital shopping behavior. This study highlights the importance of strengthening financial literacy and understanding financial technology to foster healthy financial behavior among students.
