Abstract

Pengembangan instrumen evaluasi untuk membaca teks pada Kurikulum Merdeka berfokus pada kemampuan berpikir kritis, di antaranya menganalisis, menginterpretasikan, dan mengevaluasi informasi dari teks yang dibaca. Dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, fokus evaluasi tidak hanya di akhir, tetapi di pada proses pembelajarannya juga. Instrumen membaca yang harus berorientasi pada pengukuran kemampuan kognitif, keterampilan, dan sikap peserta didik, bukan sekadar penguasaan materi teks. Fenomena ini menunjukkan adanya pergeseran dari pendekatan evaluasi konvensional menuju evaluasi yang lebih komprehensif dan holistik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi membaca kritis yang valid, reliabel, dan praktis di Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D, dengan instrumen yang telah disusun diuji validitasnya dan diuji coba kelayakannya. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat evaluasi tersebut layak untuk diterapkan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Digital Storytelling Project method assisted by the Storybird platform on students’ ability to develop plotlines in short story texts at grade XI of MAN 1 Kota Padang. The study was motivated by students’ low ability in organizing coherent and engaging plot structures. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of class XI F2 as the experimental class and class XI F7 as the control class. The research instrument was a short story writing performance test focused on plot development. Data were analyzed through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the Independent Samples T-test. The results showed that the Digital Storytelling Project method assisted by Storybird had a significant effect on students’ ability to develop plotlines in short story texts. The use of digital visual media helped students generate ideas, organize conflicts, and construct more coherent and creative plot structures. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ skills in writing news texts, particularly in organizing text structure, developing the 5W+1H elements, applying language rules, and using correct Indonesian spelling (EYD). The objectives of this study were to describe the news text writing skills of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pariangan without using the Group Investigation cooperative learning model, to describe the students’ news text writing skills using the model, and to analyze the effect of the model on students’ news text writing skills. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a control-only group posttest design. The population consisted of all seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pariangan in the 2025/2026 academic year totaling 51 students. The samples were selected using purposive sampling, consisting of 25 students in the control class and 26 students in the experimental class. Data were collected through a performance test on writing news texts based on four indicators: news text structure, elements of news text, language rules, and spelling (EYD). Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and a t-test. The results showed that the average score of students’ news text writing skills without using the Group Investigation model was 69.5 (fair category), while the average score using the model was 75.96 (good category). The hypothesis testing showed that t count ”‹ >t table ”‹ (2.46 > 2.01). Therefore, it can be concluded that the Group Investigation cooperative learning model has a significant effect on the news text writing skills of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Pariangan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of Grade XI F-4 students at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang regarding the News Text Worksheet (LKPD) developed. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The research model used was a survey with an online questionnaire as the research instrument. After data collection, steps were carried out based on a Likert Scale, such as summing the questionnaire responses, calculating the minimum total, calculating the maximum total, determining the range, calculating the length of the interval value class, and categorizing. The results of this study revealed a highly positive perception among grade XI F-4 students regarding the News Text Worksheet, with 89.25% rating ease of use, 88% rating time efficiency, 91.5% rating readability, 84.5% rating difficulty level, and 89.25% rating independence. Furthermore, complaints regarding the News Text Worksheet included limited time (duration) for completing the worksheet and limited information presented.

Abstract

The school newspaper is a mass communication medium published and managed by the school. The main manager is OSIS who are accompanied by Indonesian Language teachers and Information and Communication Technology teachers under the supervision of the school principal. The existence of a school newspaper is very important as a place to accommodate student work. This activity producesan online school newspaper that can be accessed anywhere and from anywhere. The purpose of this training is to provide facilities and infrastructure that can be used by schools to support student literacy activities
