Abstract

This research aims to develop valid and practical Liveworksheet-based interactive LKPD on the local biodiversity “Kratom” to support the P5 Project. This research method used research and development (R&D) with the 4D model consisting of 4 stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The developmental research was conducted at SMAN 3 Pontianak, with teachers and students in class X as the research subjects. The research instrument used an interview and a questionnaire with a Likert scale validity data analysis and a Guttman scale for practicality data analysis, which analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the interactive E-LKPD developed a very valid category based on the validator's assessment of the material experts, with an average of 94.2%, media experts 96.3%, and linguistics 91.9%. Based on various factors such as appearance, presentation of materials, usefulness, and response to project-based learning activities. The results of the practicality of the student questionnaire response were 90% in the small-scale trial and 88.4% in the large-scale trial. So, the developed Liveworksheet-based interactive LKPD is categorized as very practical. Based on these findings, the development is categorized as very valid, very practical, and can be utilized in learning biology on biodiversity material to support P5 project.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to profile the active antioxidant compounds from leaf extracts of Buas-buas (Premna serratifolia) growing in Pontianak of West Kalimantan (Indonesia) through a metabolomics approach and their activity as anti-COVID-19 candidates by molecular docking. In this study, P. serratifolia leaves were macerated and fractionated using solvents with different polarities. The extracts were then tested for antioxidant activity using the DPPH method, determined the total phenolic content (TPC), flavonoids (TFC), and steroids (TSC), and analyzed antioxidant the functional groups and compounds by Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Ultra High-Performance Chromatography UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap HRMS. The functional groups on antioxidant activity were determined by Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Partial Least Square (PLS) regression. Based on a metabolomics approach, the PCA and PLS analysis shows that hydroxyl was the most active antioxidant from P. serratifolia leaves. UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap HRMS analysis showed the presence of scopoletin, esculetin, 7-hydroxycoumarine, matairesinol, hymecromone, and hexylresorcinol in the water fraction of P. serratifolia leaves. Molecular docking with 4YE6, 1OG5, and 3NRZ shows that matairesinol had the most potential as an antioxidant. Mataresinol and hexyresorcinol are phenolic compounds that have great potential as a COVID-19 inhibitor based on molecular docking with 5R81, 7CMD, and 6M2N.

Abstract

Teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Subah need LKPD to support the project. The purpose of the study was to determine the response and feasibility of LKPD by using an eco print project for the introduction of leaf morphology for grade X science students as a learning medium at SMA Negeri 1 Subah. Thedevelopment of LKPD asa learning medium uses the R&D method based on the Allesi and Trolip models. The three phases of the research phase are development, design, and planning. Likert scale questionnaires are used as data collection tools. Data were collected using three techniques: interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Descriptive data analysis. Research findings show that eco-printing project-based LKPD learning consistently meets high standards of media quality (92.4%), language quality (88%), and material quality (96.7%). Students responded to LKPD with great strength (83.29) according to the beta test results.. We can conclude that the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the eco printing project is feasible to use and has received a very strong response as a learning medium for the introduction of leaf morphology in plant material.   Keywords : Eco Printing, LKPD,  Leaf Morphology

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the debate learning method on population and environmental materials on learning outcomes and Scientific habits of mind of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Ngabang. This study used the Quasy Experimental method. Tihis research design used Nonequivalent Control Group Design with simple random sampling method with the number of 25 students. The data collection technique uses a learning achievement test and a scientific habits of mind questionnaire. Learning outcomes with an average pretest score in the control class is 36 and the experimental class is 41.6. The average posttest scores in the control and experimental classes were 64.4 and 82.8. The average gain in experimental class learning outcomes is 41.2 while the average gain in control class learning outcomes is 28.4. The effect of the debate method on learning outcomes is 51.6% with an Effect Size value of 0.9 while the debate method on Scientific habits of mind is 81.1% with an Effect Size value of 2.0. So it can be concluded that debate learning has a great influence on student learning outcomes and scientific habits of mind.
