Abstract

This study visualises semiotic analysis of the meaning of nationalism in the 2020 ASEAN Football Federation championship using the constructivist paradigm. The primary data were collected through non-participant observation using Text Mining techniques with the help of a rapid miner. The method of this research consists of several stages including text processing and the use of the K-Means clustering technique to obtain data groupings that have similarities. Furthermore, the results of clustering were analyzed using the theory of semiotic triangle meaning Charles S. Peirce. The results showed that the sign includes texts that have the full meaning of nationalism or the teachings of love for the homeland. Sentences tweeted on Twitter social media are divided into state symbols represented by words such as national team as many as 22653 words, PSSI as many as 5097 words, and garuda with 1170 words. The attitude of nationalism is represented by words such as enthusiasm as many as 1893 words, fighting as many as 982 words, supporting as many as 11747 words, proud as many as 612 words, and hope as many as 506 words. Meanwhile, the cluster evaluation shows that 17 of the 28 available clusters have interpretations of nationalism values that emphasize texts that contain an attitude of national spirit through the 2020 AFF Cup final match.

Abstract

One way to help orphans and underprivileged people to get the opportunity to learn the internet for increasing their horizons is through internet training that can improve their ability to use positive technology. Some of the problems faced include the lack of mastery of English, because most of the information on the internet is available in English, so there is need for training in searching the internet. The next problem is the control of internet users to distinguish good and bad information, so there is a need for debriefing in searching for information on the internet. This training activity aims to increase knowledge and skills in the field of computer applications and maximize the use of the internet, search with Google, create a personal blog for orphans Foundation of Amanatul Huda. At the end of the training, it was stated that participants expressed satisfaction with the training, the training material according to the needs of the participants was given a value of 94.7% from the results of the questionnaire distributed. Participants also stated that the material provided was complete and easily understood, this was stated at 93.3%.

Abstract

Business financial statements are important for small businesses as one of the assessments for capital in formal credit institutions, because bookkeeping serves as a reference in business growth and development. Cotton Supply is a small entrepreneur who focused on the sale of sweaters, clothes and pants, located in Cipondoh Indah, Tangerang Banten, in the routine activities carried out by this business in recording still using notes in the form of handwriting that has a high risk of data recording errors, so that the final report produced is not in accordance with the reality of the data in the store. This becomes the background so that this community service activity is carried out with the aim to help facilitate and overcome the problems faced by Cotton Supply. The creation of this Financial Statement by using the accounting application MYOB which has facilities in data deposition until the creation of integrated financial statements in a short time so that it can manage the transactions carried out can be seen quickly. The first stage of this activity is to install the application followed by training on the use of modules, data entry and reading of the required financial statements. The results of Community Service activities by using the application of information systems in cotton supply small business is very helpful in solving the problems faced so far in making financial statements because it can be seen the growth and development of businesses that have been run and developed.

Abstract

The process of admitting new students to the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) at Universitas Budi Luhur produces a large amount of student data in the form of student profile data and other data. This happens causing a buildup of new student data, thus affecting the search for information on that data. This study aims to classify regular undergraduate admissions data at the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) Universitas Budi Luhur by utilizing the data mining process using the clustering technique. The algorithm used for clustering is the K-Means algorithm. K-Means is a non-hierarchical clustering data method that can group student data into several clusters based on the similarity of the data, so that student data with the same characteristics is grouped in one cluster and those with different characteristics are grouped in another cluster. An implementation using RapidMiner is used to help find accurate values. This research produced a description of what clusters were formed from data on regular undergraduate admissions at the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) at Universitas Budi Luhur. This will help recommend decision-making to determine the marketing promotion strategy for each study program at Universitas Budi Luhur. Based on the results of the K-Means algorithm cluster, it can also be seen which majors or study programs are of interest in each school from which new students come.

Abstract

For vocational students, determining the choice of college majors according to their talents, interests, and abilities, which can determine future careers is a problem that is quite confusing and often occurs even until the time for college entrance selection arrives. Meanwhile, rapid technological innovation creates an IT industry that promises enormous career opportunities. Thus, vocational students need to know information about career prospects in the IT industry. This community service activity is carried out in the form of a webinar to provide information about careers in the IT industry and promising prospects in the future. The method used is the presentation of material online through the Zoom Meeting application to webinar participants who are vocational students in South Jakarta. The steps carried out in this activity are observation, data collection, literature review, material creation, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this activity is that vocational students get useful references and insights regarding career prospects in the IT industry.

Abstract

Perpustakaan pada SMP Negeri 219 Jakarta belum mengunakan sistem perpustakaan yang sudah terkomputerisasi dan berbasis website. Sistem perpusktakaan belum memiliki layanan registrasi anggota baru secara online, belum memiliki sebuah sistem notifikasi pengingat jadwal pengembalian buku dan belum memiliki wadah pelayanan untuk donasi buku secara online. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan pelayanan perpustakaan dirasa perlu adanya suatu sistem perpustakaan yang sudah berbasis website. Penelitian dilakukan dengan merancang sebuah sistem perpustakaan yang terkomputerisasi menggunakan strategi pendekatan Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Penelitian ini berfokus pada salah satu strategi dari CRM yaitu enhance, bagaimana meningkatkan pelayanan untuk menjaga hubungan dengan anggota perpustakaan yaitu enhance. Peneliti menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) sebagai alat untuk menganalisa dan perancangan sistem berorientasi objek dan Fishbone Diagram untuk menganalisa penyebab masalah. Sistem dirancang dengan bahasa pemrograman Hypertext Processor (PHP), HTML dan JavaScript, database yang digunakan adalah MySQL. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem perpustakaan berbasis website dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode CRM yang dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi anggota perpustakaan dalam mencari atau melihat koleksi buku yang akan dipinjam, merancang sebuah sistem pengingat waktu pengembalian buku yang sedang dipinjam dan notifikasi denda, merancang sebuah fitur kritik dan saran, donasi buku dan merancang sebuah sistem yang memberikan kemudahan bagi petugas perpustakaan dalam pembuatan laporan, pendataan peminjaman dan pengembalian buku.

Abstract

Bank Sampah Matahari Kelurahan Pedurenan dibentuk sebagai salah satu upaya dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dari sampah. Dengan periode bulanan, Bank Sampah Matahari melakukan kegiatan penimbangan sampah yang dikumpulkan oleh warga yang menjadi nasabah Bank Sampah Matahari. Nasabah mengisi formulir setor sampah, menimbang sampahnya, kemudian pengurus bank sampah akan mencatatnya di buku tabungan sampah milik nasabah. Sampah yang semakin banyak tentu akan menimbulkan masalah, sehingga memerlukan pengolahan seperti membuat sampah menjadi produk yang berguna. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan para pengurus Bank Sampah Matahari dengan memberikan edukasi dan pengetahuan mengenai bank sampah digital melalui Aplikasi Mobile Bank Sampah Matahari serta pelatihan mendaur ulang sampah menjadi produk yang memiliki manfaat ekonomi. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memuat tahapan yang terdiri dari sosisalisasi, pelatihan, dan penerapan teknologi. Peran aktif pengurus Bank Sampah Matahari sebagai mitra dan peserta menjadi kunci suksesnya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Kegiatan ini meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen mitra dalam mengelola bank sampah sebesar 87% dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengolah sampah sebesar 100%.

Abstract

PT. Saida Indra Panca is a company that manages outsourced labor, such as cleaning services, room attendants, and landscape maintenance. The company often faces difficulties in identifying employees eligible for training and development. Therefore, this study aims to compare the effectiveness of decision-making with and without clustering. The clustering method uses the K-Means algorithm, while the decision-making method uses TOPSIS. The research adopts the CRISP-DM approach, which includes business understanding, data collection, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. Evaluation was conducted using ANOVA to compare the variance values of two groups: the first group with clustering and TOPSIS, and the second group with TOPSIS only. The evaluation resulted in an F-value of 5.553025 and a P-value < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the group means. The study shows that the combination of K-Means and TOPSIS is superior to using TOPSIS alone, as it results in a more structured, efficient, and accurate decision-making process. Clustering helps group employee data based on specific characteristics, making the evaluation and ranking process more targeted. As a result, the company can improve HR management efficiency by up to 25% and enhance the accuracy in selecting employees for training. This approach provides deeper insights for developing effective data-driven HR strategies and supports better decision-making in employee management.

Abstract

AH FOOD is a business operating in the food industry, selling various seasoning products such as balado seasoning, balado chili sauce, Miwon, and others. The problem faced involves seasoning products that have specific characteristics, such as a limited shelf life and dependence on the availability of raw materials. This availability is often influenced by general market conditions, weather or seasons, and raw material prices. Therefore, this study aims to predict sales stock at AH FOOD based on Indonesia's seasons, namely the rainy and dry seasons. The method used in this research to predict stock is the Monte Carlo method. This method was chosen due to its ability to handle uncertainty and seasonal variability, making it superior to other methods such as time series regression in predicting seasonal stock. The Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) was used to measure the accuracy level of the prediction simulation. The results of the accuracy using MAPE showed that the Monte Carlo method is adequate and feasible to use, with an average error value of 26% for the rainy season and 27% for the dry season. This helps AH FOOD optimize stock management, reduce losses due to product expiration, and increase storage efficiency. Based on the MAPE results, the Monte Carlo method is effectively used to predict seasoning stock sales at AH FOOD based on Indonesia's seasonal divisions.

Abstract

Desa Wanagiri termasuk desa swadaya yang masih tradisional dan masih cenderung terisolasi dari kehidupan luar desa. Keadaan lembaga Desa Wanagiri belum berfungsi sehingga administrasi desa kurang tertata dengan baik. Perangkat desa sering mengalami kesulitan ketika warga desa memerlukan surat-surat tersebut atau ketika warga kehilangan surat tersebut. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas Desa Wanagiri terutama mengenai kegiatan administrasi desa maka perlu diadakan kegiatan terkait mengenai pelaksanaan good governance. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang good governance melalui Sistem Informasi Laporan Rekapitulasi Kelahiran, Kematian, Datang, dan Pindah (SILAMPID). Kegiatan ini berupa workshop mengenai good governance dan penggunaan SILAMPID. Target dari kegiatan ini adalah Ketua RT desa Wanagiri, Pegawai Kantor Desa Wanagiri, dan Pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Saketi. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini merancang aplikasi SILAMPID dan workshop terkait pemahaman good governance. Kegiatan workshop akan dievaluasi dengan memberikan pre-test serta post-test untuk melihat tingkat pemahaman dari good governance. Selain itu, SILAMPID akan dievaluasi menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) yang digunakan untuk melihat level dari sistem. Pemberian pre-test yang diberikan sebelum kegiatan dan post-test yang diberikan setelah kegiatan workshop didapatkan hasil sebanyak 75% peserta yang hadir meningkat pengetahuan tentang pentingnya good governance.
