Abstract

In order to lead to the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka based on local wisdom at SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya, valid teaching materials are needed. The purpose of this study was to describe the validity of the learning media in the form of videos using the Powtoon application in the descriptive text lesson on the theme of Suroboyo Religious Tourism elements of writing phase D. The research method used was quantitative with data sources in the form of video assessments from validators through questionnaires. Based on the validation results by the media expert validator, the description text video on the theme of Suroboyo religious tourism is said to be very feasible with an average of 27 and a percentage of 96.4%. Based on material experts, the developed media received an average score of 23.5 which was then percentaged to 73.4%, so that it was included in the feasible category.

Abstract

The commotion after Arema FC's match against Persebaya at Malang's Kanjuruhan Stadium caused many victims. This has attracted the attention of various parties. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the structure of the text, social cognition, and social context in Mata Najwa's episode of the Kanjuruhan tragedy. This research includes a qualitative descriptive study using Youtube videos as a data source. Data collection techniques used are documentation, observe, and record. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research results found in Mata Najwa's Kanjuruhan tragedy episode through Teun van Dijk's critical discourse analysis, namely in the text dimension found micro-structural elements indicating the main problem, namely the chronology of the Kanjuruhan tragedy incident. The analysis of social cognition produces the most dominant scheme, namely the event scheme. There are two discourses that are emphasized in social cognition, namely the justification related to tear gas and the chaos that occurred due to fans taking to the field. This research has implications in the social context that can help identify injustices contained in the language and discourse used by groups in power.

Abstract

Suku Dayak Kenyah pada umumnya gemar melantunkan syair ungkapan hati dan perasaan yang merepresentasikan kehidupan mereka. Lantunan ungkapan kisah-kisah kehidupan sukunya dituangkan dalam sebuah kidung atau nyanyian dengan kalimat berirama secara lisan. Kegiatan menyanyikan syair-syair tersebut dinamakan ngendau. Ngendau merupakan tradisi lisan berbentuk syair atau puisi yang dinyanyikan secara bersahut-sahutan ataupun bersamaan antara kaum laki-laki dan perempuan, biasanya diiringi dengan alat musik sapeq dan tarian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ungkapan perasaan apa saja yang terdapat di dalam nyanyian syair ngendau masyarakat Dayak Kenyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, rekam, serta catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam tradisi lisan ngendau terdapat ungkapan perasaan lebih dominan pada perasaan gembira, kemudian perasaan syukur, dan perasaan rindu.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character of Pancasila students presented in the single text of the Ministry of Education's Indonesian Language Book. The type of research is qualitative. The object of the research is a single text that contains the character of Pancasila students. Data collection techniques with documentation. Data analysis uses personal critical and creative thinking logic. The character of Pancasila students is presented in the discourse of short stories, argumentation, persuasion, and news. The character of faith and fear of God Almighty and noble character is seen in the text that describes the request for protection to God. The character of global diversity is seen in the text describing the stage of understanding the culture of society through social and economic approaches. The character of working together is seen in the text describing the stage of building a village group that produces local food sources. Creative characters are seen in the text describing the means of channeling technology-based creativity and innovation. Critical reasoning characters are seen in the text describing the process of understanding food source production data that is higher than the needs but the government continues to import rice. Independent character is seen in the text that explains food security and the nation's ability to produce airplanes.

Abstract

Abstrak Siswa tunagrahita di SLB Muhammadiyah Sidayu memiliki tingkat kemandirian yang rendah sehingga diperlukan media pembelajaran yang cocok untuk mengatasiya. Mandiri Busy Story Book Berbasis QR Code merupakan salah satu jenis busy book yang memiliki alur cerita mulai dari bangun tidur hingga pulang sekolah yang dirancang untuk dapat meningkatkan kemandirian siswa tunagrahita yang berkaitan dengan aktivitas sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian siswa tunagrahita di SLB Muhammadiyah Sidayu dengan menggunakan Mandiri busy story book. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan utama yaitu pre-test, proses pendampingan, dan post-test. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian diketahui bahwa kemadirian siswa meningkat 90%. Pada pre-test, siswa rata-rata hanya menguasai 4 keterampilan meningkat menjadi 10 keterampilan dari 12 keterampilan yang ditargetkan. Keberhasilan tersebut terjadi karena media yang dirancang dapat membantu memperagakan kemandirian yang perlu dilatihkan kepada siswa sehingga siswa menjadi terbiasa dalam melakukan aktivitas kemandirian yang dibutuhkan. Abstract

In learning Indonesian in grade VII, students must have writing skills as one of the language skills. Project-based learning with local wisdom content not only improves students' writing skills, but also enriches their insight into the cultural values ​​around them. This study aims to improve students' news text writing competence through the application of project-based learning models. This study uses quantitative and qualitative research types and involves 33 students. The results showed that 63% of class VII-B students of SMP YP 17 Surabaya achieved KKM 75 with an average score for writing news texts of 72.45.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana kesetaraan gender direpresentasikan dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia SMA/SMK Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai bentuk upaya pemerintah dalam mendukung program SDGs. Melalui pendekatan multimodal yang berfokus pada moda bahasa (linguistic mode) dan moda gambar (visual mode). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan berupa buku teks Bahasa Indonesia SMA/SMK Kurikulum Merdeka terbitan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik baca, catat, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model dari Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari atas pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan moda bahasa yang diperoleh berupa kutipan cerpen, puisi, dan novel. Moda visual yang diperoleh berupa gambar sastrawan, pahlawan nasional, penggunaan gambar dan ilustrasi laki-laki dan perempuan. Kesetaraan gender yang direpresentasikan pada buku teks ini terletak pada bidang pekerjaan dan peran antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Selain merepresentasikan kesetaraan gender, terdapat tiga dari sepuluh data moda bahasa merepresentasikan ketidaksetaraan gender. Dengan demikian, dapat dinyatakan bahwa buku teks tersebut telah merefleksikan kesetaraan gender dengan 20 data kesetaraan gender untuk menunjang SDGs.

Abstract

Students' enthusiasm for using Tik Tok social media can be utilized in learning activities, namely as a forum for using learning media. This research aims to describe the validity of editorial text infographic learning media developed using the TikTok application in swipe form. The research method used is quantitative with the research instrument in the form of a validation sheet. This media is validated by 3 validators. Based on the validation results, the media was declared suitable for use with a percentage of 79.1% on content eligibility criteria, 83.3% on language eligibility criteria, 75% on presentation eligibility criteria, 73.3% on graphic eligibility criteria, 83.3% on eligibility criteria for use.

Abstract

Students have different characteristics. These differences in characteristics can lead to the formation of learning groups that have similarities in learning styles. Non-graduate students such as Accounting and Health Analysts have an auditory learning style that likes lecture methods. The lecture method is not a bad method, but there is another method that can optimize reading literacy before the lecture method is used as a reinforcement of student understanding. This is necessary because literacy is the key to the formation of other types of literacy. The method that can optimize reading literacy is the Pagitukul (Pair-Sharing-Time-Punch) method which is a modification of the cooperative Learning-Shared-Pair-Share and Time-Pair-Co-op method. With the method is expected students do not expect and be empty glass that always filled by lecturers but students have a schematic of the material to be studied. After the application of the method to non-students, it is known that most students give positive response to Pagitukul method. Therefore, it can be said that Pagitukul method can be an alternative learning method that is able to optimize reading literacy in non-grammarian students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan menggunakan metode field trip melalui diskusi daring Google Classroom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tes pada teknik pengumpulan datanya. Objek penelitian ini sejumlah 20 siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 85. Siswa dapat menulis laporan hasil observasi secara lengkap sesuai struktur teks. Akan tetapi, dalam penulisan struktur tersebut, masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang memiliki kendala dalam menyebutkan simpulan dan definisi umum. Kendala tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perlu peningkatan kemampuan pengembangan paragraf berdasarkan objek yang diamati. Selain itu juga ditemukan kecenderungan menulis judul sama dengan objek pengamatan atau tema.
