This study aims to design and develop a body temperature control device based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The device is designed with the purpose of accurately and efficiently monitoring and regulating human body temperature. The implementation of IoT technology allows this device to be connected to the internet, facilitating remote monitoring and real-time temperature adjustments. In the design of this device, sensitive temperature sensors are utilized to measure human body temperature. The collected temperature data is transmitted through the internet connection to a platform accessible to users via smart devices such as smartphones or computers. Users can monitor their own body temperature or that of other individuals through a user-friendly application interface. Test results demonstrate that this human body temperature control device is capable of accurately measuring temperature and transmitting data through the internet network effectively. The device's strength lies in its ability to provide real-time body temperature information, which can be useful in health monitoring and early detection of infection or illness symptoms. By combining sensor technology, IoT, and network connectivity, this research produces a device that has the potential to contribute to more advanced and effective public health monitoring, applicable in various contexts including individual health management, medical care, and general health supervision.

The mist fan (blower) is an essential device in various industrial and commercial applications, particularly in cooling and ventilation processes. To increase the efficiency and user-friendliness of mist fans, we introduced an innovative design based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This project aims to create a remote-controllable mist fan controller accessible through the internet. The device will be equipped with sensors that monitor environmental temperature and humidity, allowing the mist fan to automatically adjust to maintain comfortable environmental conditions. Furthermore, the controller will include energy consumption monitoring capabilities, enabling users to optimize the mist fan's power usage. The data generated by the device will be accessible through a mobile application or web platform, allowing users to monitor and control the mist fan from anywhere and at any time. This design combines IoT technology with energy-efficient usage, thereby enhancing comfort and efficiency in various industrial and commercial applications that employ mist fans. System test result this project has the potential to positively impact energy savings and overall productivity.

“Sekolah Penggerak” Program is a program to encourage the transformation process of educational units to realize the Pancasila student profile which was launched online on February 1 2021. The city of Binjai was chosen to implement this program during the 2nd Generation of Mobilization School. And there were 14 schools selected, namely 2 Kindergarten schools (TK), 8 Elementary Schools (SD), 2 Middle Schools (SMP), and 2 High Schools (SMA). Among the selected school levels, only the Elementary School (SD) level was selected more often than the others. So the proposer is interested in analyzing the implementation of the “Sekolah Penggerak” program in 8 elementary schools (SD) throughout Binjai Municipality and collecting the learning achievements that have been obtained by students. From the research results, it was found that students were more motivated and enthusiastic in learning. This is because the learning programs in the “Sekolah Penggerak” program are interesting and more fun. Students are invited to be more active and creative in learning through innovative learning models. Thus, this research intends to provide information to other education providers regarding the achievement of activities and learning achievements of students in the “Sekolah Penggerak” program in the Binjai Municipality so that they can motivate other schools to participate in implementing the “Sekolah Penggerak” program. In this way, it is hoped that this research will be useful for teachers and other educational institutions.

Eczema is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by mild to severe itching, and is recurrent. Eczema mostly appears when children are aged (5-12 years) but also affects many toddlers and adults. The main symptom of eczema is unbearable itching. Various factors cause eczema, including genetic factors related to skin color disorders, immunological disorders, and environmental factors and must be treated immediately or followed up by seeing a specialist.

Quick and precise decision-making is key in facing global competition. Based on the results of research conducted at STMIK Kaputama Binjai, the learning process for students is good, but they still have to develop other methods in the learning process. less effective and efficient, not in accordance with differentiated learning. Differentiated learning is learning that gives students the freedom to increase their potential according to their learning readiness, interests, and learning profile. Differentiated learning does not only focus on learning products, but also focuses on processes and content or materials. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to build a system to streamline the process of determining the methods that need to be applied in well-computerized classrooms by utilizing the processes of the Decision Support System (DSS). Based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that the Kinesthetic Learning Model with a value of 0.715; has the highest score and is ranked first. With these results it is also concluded that the learning model is appropriate to be a learning model in providing students with differentiated learning.

Pemanfaatan tanaman obat herbal merupakan salah satu solusi dalam penyelesaian masalah kesehatan yang sering dihadapi masyarakat, selain menggunakan obat-obatan kimia baik dalam tahapan pencegahan. Penyebab menurunnya imun tubuh pada manusia disebabkan beberapa faktor yang sangat mempengaruhi yakni penyakit yang dapat menyerang tubuh manusia, sehingga kekebalan tubuh melemah sehingga membuat tubuh manusia menjadi lemah dan tidak berdaya. Jika seseorang merasa memiliki masalah dengan sistem kekebalan tubuh mereka, disarankan untuk berkonsultasi dengan dokter untuk diagnosis dan pengobatan yang tepat. Penyelesaian permasalahan ini dengan membuat sebuah pemilihan yang tepat maka dibutuhkan sistem pendukung keputusan agar dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan keputusan akhir dalam pemilihan obat herbal untuk meningkatkan imun tubuh manusia dengan menggunakan metode weighted product. Menghasilkan pemilihan tanaman herbal terbaik dengan nilai tertinggi 0,123 kode alternatif A3 dengan nama kunyit. Sistem aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan dibuat dalam platform website. Menghasilkan pemilihan tanaman herbal terbaik dengan nilai tertinggi 0,138 kode alternatif A1 dengan nama Jahe Merah. Mengunakan data tanaman herbal sebanyak 9 data dan penilaian data dibuat oleh Rumah Sehat Medan dengan mengunakan metode WP

The implementation of the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) algorithm on smart barcodes aims to enhance efficiency and accuracy in recognizing and tracking product data. In this context, barcodes serve as visual representations containing crucial product information. The LVQ algorithm is employed to optimize the classification and matching processes of barcode data with precise references. Through repeated training, this algorithm adapts learning vectors to better recognize barcode variations. In this study, researchers analyze the impact of LVQ algorithm implementation on smart barcode systems concerning identification accuracy, computational efficiency, and adaptability to changes. Experimental results demonstrate the significant benefits of applying barcodes to inventory systems in overall stock management and business efficiency. By utilizing barcode technology, the processes of tracking and recording product data become faster, more accurate, and automated. Barcode usage minimizes human errors, optimizes time, and reduces operational costs. By combining the intelligence of the LVQ algorithm with the potential of barcodes, this research illustrates a crucial advancement in the technology integration domain for the development of more sophisticated and effective systems

The current era's development directs us to understand data security better. Vital documents such as family cards often become subjects of forgery. Therefore, we must be capable of safeguarding the confidentiality of our data. This issue can be addressed through watermarking methods. Watermarking is a technique that can be used to embed information into an image. A digital image represents a machine-captured approximation of an image based on sampling and quantization. The image utilized here employs QR Code, which represents the evolution of one-dimensional barcodes into two-dimensional forms. This study employs the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) algorithm. This algorithm converts data from spatial form by segmenting images into sub-parts with varying frequencies. The application of the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) method in watermarking the QR Code on birth certificates has significantly contributed to the security and authentication of the document. Throughout this implementation, DCT has proven to be an effective tool for embedding additional information into birth certificate images without compromising the integrity of the main information. However, it should be noted that the use of DCT can also impact the visual quality of the image. Thus, parameter adjustments are necessary to strike the right balance between security and visual aesthetics.

The process of accepting new students generates a lot of data in the form of profiles of students who register. From year to year there is an increase in the number of prospective new students who come from several areas in Binjai City, Langkat Regency and surrounding areas, so the location of the socialization of new student admissions promotions every year is increasing and wider. And from several schools that have been visited and are expected to provide new prospective students, in fact, it is not proportional to the final number of prospective students who register. In this study, applying the K-Means Clustering algorithm using 3 variables namely, region, school origin, major. In determining the location of new student admissions promotions, the promotion team first identifies what factors will influence the determination of promotional locations ranging from region, school origin and majors that are considered to be set as promotional locations. Based on the results of grouping new student admission data of STMIK Kaputama Binjai using the K-means Clustering method from 20 data that has been processed, 3 clusters and 3 iterations are produced where cluster 1 has 9 data, cluster 2 has 2 data and cluster 3 has 9 data.

The Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic bell system is designed to enhance the efficiency of bell operations in educational institutions by utilizing modern technology. This research aims to develop a system that can control the bell automatically according to the class schedule, while also enabling remote control via a mobile application using the Blynk platform. The system is built using an ESP8266 as the main microcontroller, a DFPlayer Mini module for audio playback, and an RTC DS1307 for time management. The results show that the system functions as expected, both in automatic mode based on the schedule and in manual mode through the mobile application. Testing and debugging demonstrated that integration with WiFi networks allows for flexible and effective bell control. For further development, it is recommended to add a power backup feature, web interface, and push notifications to improve system reliability and flexibility. This system provides an efficient and practical IoT solution for automating bell operations in educational environments.
