Abstract

This qualitative phenomenological study to examine and compare the style and character of Gen Y leadership with the style and character of Gen X leadership in PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara Area Pengatur Distribusi Jawa Tengah & Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The study was conducted through in-depth interviews and direct observation of selected respondents. The questions are (i) Gen X (old) leadership in preparing the cadre to deal with change, (ii) Gen Y's leadership in responding to the company's target challenge in the face of change.The respondents of this study were the group of Gen Y leaders and the group of Gen X leaders at PT. PLN APD Jateng & DIY. The method used is qualitative phenomenology. It is used because the purpose of this study to reveal the meaning of concept or phenomenon of experience based on the awareness that occurs in some individuals in PT. PLN APD Jateng & DIY.The results showed that Gen Y Leader at PT. PLN APD Jateng & DIY provides an understanding of organizational achievement targets to staff or subordinates in typical millennial youth. In addition to coaching, mentoring and counseling (CMC) and streamlining the WhatsApp Group (WA), they also often hang out together. The leadership cadre preparation process continues unabated, through an active WA Group 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 30 days in a month. While the leaders of Gen X only use the CMC, code of conduct (CoC), and the person in charge (PIC) for the pattern of regeneration. The results also show that in addition to being very open to differences, Gen Y's leaders are also very tolerant of conflict in working relationships.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganallsis pengaruh dukungan sosial, kejelasan peran tenaga penjualan dan orientasi belajar terhadap kinerja tenaga penjualan perusahaan asuransi di Semarang. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 231 tenaga penjual asuransi di Semarang dengan teknik cluster area sampling. Hipotesis yang dlkembangkan didasarkan pada hubungan antara dukungan sosial, kefelasan peran dan orientasi belajar terhadap kinerja tenaga penjual asuransi. Alat anallsis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh dukungan sosial, kejejasan peran dan orientasi belajar terhadap kinerja tenaga penjual asuransl di Kota Semarang.

Abstract

Changes in the business environment are unavoidable in an industry. To survive in the competitive, businesses must be able to adapt to changes in the external business environment. The ability of businesses to adapt to the changing business environment becomes a key aspect needed to achieve competitive advantage in the long-term (sustainable) perspective. Based on this phenomenon, the study aims to examine the effect of partnership perspective and knowledge management in building the adaptability of the changing business environment and enhance the sustainable competitive advantage.The data regarding the partnership perspective, knowledge management, adaptation to the business environment and sustainable competitive advantage obtained through interviews using questionnaires. The sample was PT Djarum tobacco suppliers partner in Temanggung. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was run by AMOS, the software was used to analyze the data obtained.Statistical analysis showed that the partnership perspective, and knowledge management, positive and significant impact on the adaptability of the business environment changes; adaptability of the business environment changes proved to be positively and significantly impact to sustainable competitive advantage. Directly, partnerships and knowledge management perspective also positively and significantly impact to sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

Penelitian yang difokuskan pada UKM ritel fashion di Jawa Tengah ini bertujuan utama untuk menganalisa pengaruh dari orientasi kewirausahaan dan penerapan SCM terhadap keunggulan kompetitif serta kinerja bisnis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara menyebar kuesioner yang nantinya dilakukan pengolahan data secara statistik. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah UKM ritel fashion di Jawa Tengah, dimana jumlah populasinya tidak diketahui. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah pengambil keputusan dengan jumlah total 150 orang dari UKM ritel fashion yang tersebar di beberapa kota di Jawa Tengah. Pengolahan data adalah menggunakan metode SEM dengan menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak AMOS. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan signifikan positif antara variabel keunggulan kompetitif terhadap kinerja bisnis, penerapan SCM terhadap kinerja bisnis, orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja bisnis, penerapan SCM terhadap keunggulan kompetitif, serta orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif. Keunggulan kompetitif berfungsi sebagai variabel mediator parsial. Keterbatasan waktu pengisian kuesioner oleh responden, nilai normalitas data pada beberapa variabel yang agak tinggi, dan nilai R squared 0,524 yang cenderung berada di kategori moderat menjadi kelemahan yang ada pada penelitian ini. Akan tetapi, disamping keterbatasan yang ada originalitas dari penelitian ini mampu memperkaya hasil penelitian terdahulu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of job satisfaction and psychological contracts on intention to quit with organizational commitment as an intervening variable. The population used in this study are operational employees of PT Krakatau Steel Tbk. who have become permanent employees with a minimum work period of 1 year and a minimum education level of high school and equivalent. The number of samples used in this study were 190 respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire. This study uses structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis with AMOS software as an analysis tool. The results showed that job satisfaction had a negative and significant effect on intention to quit, psychological contracts had a negative and insignificant effect on intention to quit, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, psychological contracts had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment and organizational commitment had a significant effect on organizational commitment. negative and significant on the intention to quit.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembahasan mengenai employee engagement karyawan generasi millennial yang bekerja pada perusahaan BUMN. Penentuan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 285 karyawan. Alat yang digunakan untuk mengolah data dalam penelitian ini adalah SEM (Structural Equation Model) yang dioperasikan melalui program AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure). Studi ini menemukan keterlibatan karyawan dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan transformasional, komitmen organisasional, dan loyalitas. Namun, menunjukkan bahwa loyalitas karyawan tidak terbukti dapat memediasi hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dengan employee engagement. Terakhir, studi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi dalam konteks organisasi dan pembahasan yang lebih umum dengan topik employee engagement secara teoritis dan empiris.
