Abstract

This study intends to assess investment proposals in the form of additions of fixed assets is one Tobong units and one unit of transport vehicles (trucks) and working capital pemanbahan based on market aspects, technical aspects and financial aspects. The results of this analysis will eventually be used as guidelines for the management (decision makers) to make a decision whether the investment proposal is acceptable and feasible Data used in this research is data sales volume in 1999 until 2003 and investment value. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the method of evaluating the profitability of investment that is a pay-back period and net present of value. Results of data analysis based on sales volume from 1999 to 2003 states that the valuation based on market aspects, in 2004 until 2008 showed an estimated increase in demand, so that its market share which will be controlled by 30%, demonstrating the company´s strong position in competition with other companies. Technical aspects indicate that the infrastructure is owned by the company was still able to produce at levels greater output, then the maximized production capacity to 600,000 units per year. The addition of one unit and one unit Tobong transport vehicles are needed to support the success in meeting consumer demand. Assessment of the investment plan based on financial aspects indicate that the long payback period that is embedded in the investment (pay-back period) is 3 years 1 month and 24 days were positive NPV indicates that this figure is a condition of acceptable and worthy of investment. From all these aspects, the investment company´s business expansion in tile press "Sokka Super KBR" was acceptable and feasible. Key words: investment, payback period, net present of value, sales

Abstract

Iodine deficiency disorders is a nutritional problem in Indonesia today. The impact of these issues affect is the survival and quality of human resources. Indicator to determine abnormalities of thyroid function due to iodine deficiency either by examination of TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) and fT4. Hormonal contraceptives is one cause of thyroid function abnormalities. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship type of hormonal contraceptive with levels of thyroid abnormalities in fertile age couple. Observational cross-sectional study conducted in a population of couples of fertile age couple who visit the Clinical Research of IDD Magelang in 2013 - 2014. Methods of sampling is by random sampling. Chi square test was used to determine the relationship type of hormonal contraceptive with levels of thyroid disorders on 115 people were divided into 3 groups, namely the contraceptive pill as many as 11 people, 90 people injectable contraceptives and contraceptive implants as many as 14 people. The results showed at 9.1% incidence rate of hyperthyroidism in sample with the contraceptive pill, 26.6% in injectable contraceptives is 26.6%, and implant is 50%. Chi-square test showed no significant relationship between the type of hormonal contraceptive with the level of thyroid abnormalities (p = 0.23). Need to do counselling about GAKI (definition, causes, consequences, and prevention), especially for pregnant women.

Abstract

Latar Belakang. Iodium merupakan bahan esensial yang dibutuhkan tubuh untuk membentuk hormon tiroid. Kecukupan iodium dapat dilihat dari status iodium yaitu kadar iodium urine (UIE) dan kadar tiroglobulin. Status iodium sangat memengaruhi regulasi hormon tiroid dimana kadar TSH dan FT4 sangat berperan dalam mekanisme fungsi tiroid. Defisiensi iodium merupakan permasalahan yang laten sehingga sewaktu-waktu dapat muncul kembali. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan status iodium dengan indikator fungsi tiroid di daerah dengan riwayat kecukupan iodium yang berbeda–beda. Metode. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross-sectional pada wanita usia subur (WUS) umur 15 sampai 45 tahun di Kota Yogyakarta, Kabupaten Purworejo, dan di Kota Bukittinggi. Besar sampel setiap daerah sebanyak 120 WUS, sehingga total sampel adalah 360 WUS. Variabel yang diukur adalah IMT, TSH, FT4, UIE, dan tiroglobulin. Pengukuran kadar TSH dan FT4 serta tiroglobulin menggunakan metode ELISA sedangkan pengukuran kadar UIE dengan metode spektrofotometri. Hasil. Fungsi tiroid dilihat dari kadar TSH dan FT4 mayoritas normal pada ketiga daerah tersebut. Status iodium dilihat dari kadar median UIE di Kota Yogyakarta dan Kabupaten Purworejo lebih dari normal, sedangkan di Kota Bukittinggi median UIE < 90 persen atau defisiensi iodium ringan dengan proporsi iodium <50 µg/L lebih dari 20 persen. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara TSH dengan UIE dan tiroglobulin di Kabupaten Purworejo. Kesimpulan. Defisiensi iodium masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Kota Bukittinggi. Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara status iodium dengan fungsi tiroid di Kabupaten Purworejo.

Abstract

Kulit jeruk merupakan bahan alam yang banyak dibuang walaupun banyak khasiat yang terkandung didalamnya. Minyak atsirik kulit jeruk mempunyai khasiat untuk kulit seperti membersihkan kulit (anti bakteri) dan memberi aroma yang menenangkan. Telah dilakukan penelitian formulasi sediaan sabun padat transparan minyak atsiri kulit jeruk (Citrus sinensis) (L.) Osbeck. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah minyak atsiri kulit jeruk dapat diformulasikan menjadi sabun padat transparanyang memenuhi persyaratan. Sediaan sabun padat transparandibuat sebanyak 4 formula dengan F0 (formula 0) sebagai basis dan penambahan minyak atsiri pada FI (formula I) sebanyak 2 mL, FII (formula II) sebanyak 4 mL, FII (formula II) sebanyak 6 mL. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji evaluasi fisik sediaan sabun padat transparanmeliputi pengamatan uji organoleptis, uji kadar air,  uji  pH,  uji iritasi,  dan uji  tinggi busa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa minyak atsiri kulit jeruk telah memenuhi persyaratan sabun padat transparan, evaluasi uji kadar air, uji pH , uji iritasi dan tinggi busa sudah memenuhi persyaratan.

Abstract

Tanaman daun torbangun (Plectranthus ambonicus Lour) merupakan tanaman yang dapat tumbuh liar. Tanaman ini memiliki berbagai senyawa bioaktif, diantaranya senyawa fenolik, kumarin, flavonoid, alkaloid, dan juga mengandung minyak atsiri. Daunnya memiliki aroma yang khas sehingga disebut tanaman aromatik. Hidrosol adalah cairan minyak atsiri yang bercampur dengan air secara kuat dengan air sehingga warnanya mulai dari kuning hingga mendekati jernih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah hydrosol daun torbangun dapat di formulasikan ke dalam face toner dengan membedakan konsentrasi hidrosol daun torbangun. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa hydrosol daun torbangun dapat diformulasikan dalam face toner yang memenuhi persyaratan uji pH yaitu 6, dan semua formula face toner tidak mengiritasi. Dari uji hedonic diperoleh kesukaan terhadap aroma dan warna FIII sebanyak 30%, sedangkan untuk kesukaan terhadap tekstur FIII sebanyak 50% dari jumlah responden.

Abstract

This research was made with the aim of improving learning outcomes on the properties of light (the working principle of the loop), changing behavior and learning motivation on the material properties of light (the working principle of the loop) in class IV A students at SDN Tempel Surakarta Semester 1 Academic Year 2021/ 2022 with the application of the experimental method. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted on 14 students in class IV A in 2 cycles. The action stages in improving learning are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of the initial conditions / pre-cycle there were 28.6% of students who achieved learning mastery, an increase of 50% in cycle I and an increase of 100% in cycle II. The increase in learning outcomes also occurred in the psychomotor aspect. In cycle I, there were 6 students (42.9%) who were very capable, capable and sufficiently capable of conducting experiments on the material properties of light (the working principle of the loop). In cycle II the number of students who are very capable, capable, and quite capable of conducting material experiments on the properties of light (the working principle of the loop) increases to 13 students (92.9%), the increase in student learning activity is 35.7% in cycle I to 85.7% of students in cycle II.

Abstract

In meeting their daily water needs (bathing and washing), the majority of the people of South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan) have been using river water and peat well water, as is the case for fresh water fisheries. However, the water used is cloudy and smells because it is water that is polluted by household waste, and of course it shows the quality of the water that is still being debated for the process of fish cultivation. In the process of cultivating freshwater fish, the standard mechanism is still used, namely by making tarpaulin ponds for fish ponds and river water as a medium for fish cultivation and the process of providing feed. In the process there are several things about water quality and conditions, and several other issues, namely about water circulation, temperature, humidity, pH and oxygen regulation of fish pond water. Fish excrete waste from leftover feed and metabolism which contain lots of ammonia (Effendi, 2003). Fish excrete 80-90% of ammonia through osmoregulation processes, feces and from urine. To produce quality pond water as a medium for fish cultivation, it is necessary to have a proper and good water filter. This study aims to obtain the best filter substrate in increasing the growth and survival of freshwater fish fry reared using polluted river water in a tarpaulin pond with a recirculation system. The filter method used in this study was an experimental method using one factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatment levels and three replications. The treatments applied were P0 = Zeolite, Charcoal, Japmate, Bio Foam, P1 = Bamboo, Charcoal, Japmate, Bio Foam, P2 = Bioball, Charcoal, Japmate, Bio Foam and P3 = Bioring, Charcoal, Japmate, Bio Foam. The resulting data were analyzed for analysis of variance (ANOVA), then continued using the BNT test with 95% and 99% confidence intervals. From the results of the study, the measurement results obtained were for the specific growth rate test (SGR) of 1.15%, the survival test (SR) of 86.66% and the feed conversion ratio test (FCR) of 3.10%. While the supporting parameters are water quality, namely the results of water quality, namely, temperature 28.1 – 30.3 0C, pH 7.4 – 8.1, DO 5.24 6.53 mg/L, NH3 0.06 – 0.40 mg/L, NO2 0.056 – 0.90 mg/L and NO3- 0.28 – 0.190 mg/L. In addition to producing filter products that can support SGR, SR and FCR in freshwater fish, it is hoped that this research will also produce scientific paper outputs that will be published in International Conferences/International Journals and become part of the Study Program's Coursebook for the Accounting Department. Abstract

ABSTRAK Kopi merupakan salah satu komoditas perkebunan yang memiliki nilai jual sangat tinggi di Indonesia. Kopi mengandung kafein yang bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan dan mood serta menghilangkan kantuk. Selain kopi, salah satu rempah yang banyak dihasilkan di Indonesia adalah kulit kayu manis (Cinnamomun burmani). Kulit kayu manis (Cinnamomun burmanii) telah beberapa kali diteliti dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah, total kolesterol, kadar trigliserida dan dapat meningkatkan kadar HDL. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh formula terbaik dari serbuk minuman kopi dengan variasi penambahan serbuk kulit kayu manis dan masing-masing formula juga ditambahkan gula untuk penghilang rasa pahit. Serbuk minuman kopi arabika dibuat sebanyak 3 formulasi, yaitu serbuk kopi untuk masing-masing formula sebanyak 7 gram dan gula masing-masing formula sebanyak 14 gram, sedangkan serbuk kulit kayu manis yang ditambahkan untuk masing-masing formula bervariasi, yaitu : formula 1 sebanyak 1 gram; formula 2 sebanyak 3 gram dan formula 3 sebanyak 5 gram. Dari formula yang didapat selanjutnya dilakukan uji hedonik dengan melibatkan beberapa panelis. Parameter yang digunakan untuk uji hedonik adalah rasa, aroma, kekentalan, dan warna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa formula 2 sebagai formula terbaik paling disukai dari segi warna, rasa, dan aroma dengan komposisi serbuk kopi arabika 7 gram, serbuk kulit kayu manis 3 gram, dan gula 14 gram, sedangkan formula 1 paling disukai dari segi kekentalan dengan komposisi serbuk kopi arabika 7 gram, serbuk kulit kayu manis 1 gram, dan gula 14 gram.

Abstract

Kopi Kerinci yang ditanam dengan cara tradisional dan mendapatkan cap kopi yang menerapkan proses sustainaibilt. Kandungan kafein dalam kopi merupakan antioksidan yang dapat mencegah penuaan dini pada kulit, mampu mengangkat sel kulit mati, menghaluskan kulit, memberi nutrisi pada kulit, menghilangkan bau badan, menghilangkan bekas jerawatdan memberi perlindungan terhadap sinar ultraviolet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan formula sabun padat yang baik dari Kopi Arabika Kerinci. Sabun padat dibuat dengan metode dingin (cold process soap) menggunakan bahan dasar campuran minyak lemak dan natrium hidroksida. Minyak lemak yang digunakan adalah campuran minyak zaitun dengan minyak kelapa Formula I (FI) dan campuran minyak zaitun dengan VCO Formula II (FII). Kedua Formula memperlihatkan hasil yang baik berbentuk padat, beraroma kopi, warna coklat susu (FI) coklat susu tua FII, tekstur sabun FI keras dan FII lembut. Hasil uji kadar air FI = 11.3% dan FII = 10.45% adapaun syarat menurut SNI adalah kecil dari 15%. PH sabun FI adalah 9 dan FII adalah 10, uji pH selama 4 minggu menunjukan kurva yang stabil.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian formulasi sediaan sabun padat transparan ekstrak Etanol Kulit Jeruk Manis (Citrus sinensis) dengan Minyak Kelapa Sawit (Palm oil). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ekstrak etanol kulit jeruk manis dapat diformulasikan menjadi sabun padat transparan. Sediaan sabun padat transparan dibuat sebanyak 4 formula dengan F0 sebagai basis dan penambahan ekstrak etanol kulit jeruk manis pada Fl sebanyak 1 g, FII sebanyak 2 g dan FIII sebanyak 3 g. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji evaluasi fisik sediaan sabun padat transparant meliputi pengamatan uji organoleptis, uji kadar air, uji pH, uji iritasi, dan uji tinggi busa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak etanol kulit jeruk manis belum memenuhi persyaratan sabun padat transparant karena evaluasi uji kadar air belum memenuhi persyaratan yang telah ditetapkan karena melewati batas maksimum kadar air yang sesuai SNI tahun 2016. Tetapi dari evaluasi uji organoleptis, uji pH, uji tinggi busa, dan uji iritasi sudah memenuhi persyaratan.
